Uganda

Adella POV

It aches my heart to see Edwin with such a gloomy look, he was such a friendly and outgoing child. No matter how mature he tries to act, I know for a fact that he is acting tough in front of us so that we don't worry about him. I wish I could help him get over his depression and let him feel more at ease around us. He is a bright and very smart child compared to his peers, I can't believe he finished all the books that he finished in such a short span of time. He is going to grow up to become a very powerful wizard, thank god he is finally released. I can't wait for him to come home and taste all the food that I made for him. He is going to be so delighted. I told Edward to bring Ed home as soon as possible, but how dare he is taking so much time he is going to sleep on the couch today. 'Edward felt a chill run down his spine and shuddered thinking what might have made him feel this way '.

This is more than what I could have imagined, the sheer number of floors the ship has is enormous. The ship looked quite normal from the outside but on the inside it was huge, and 'huge' was probably underestimating it, the logical solution I could come up with was a spatial expansion spell this spell looked very handy. I need to ask aunt for some spell books, I thought. Uncle took me to what seemed like the 30th floor below the deck and walked a while, and finally reached a room with large beautiful doors. The level of woodworking that was done on this thing must have been countless, the door had nice patterns with gold platted flowers on the sides. It was as if royalty lived in this cabin, uncle opened the door and both of us felt a chill run down our spine. We could see aunt sitting on the chair and smiling at us, only the difference was that she had a cold and icy smile on her face. She looked pissed off, so I did that the only sensible thing in that situation and blamed it all on uncle. Whatever the reason might be for her to be pissed at us, it's uncle's duty to handle the dangerous beast known as 'Adellah'.

Oh boy, I am never pissing my aunt off uncle got the beating of his life- he got an hour lecture for being late throughout which he looked like a scaredy-cat. After that was done aunt focused on me and I visibly flinched, she came in front of me and pinched my cheeks, and took me to the dining table. I didn't get to look at the room because of an obvious life-threatening distraction. The room looked medieval it had nice decorations filled with antiques, I thought I couldn't be surprised anymore but I was so very wrong. Everything in the room looked nice and complimented each other, and then there was the food which looked it came from heaven. I was practically drooling at this point, my antics made my aunt chuckle and my cheeks got red due to embarrassment.

I ate the tastiest food I had eaten in a long while, it tasted like home. I was grateful for the meal and thanked my aunt for this delicious food, this made my aunt happy and she thanked me by saying she is going to prepare one of my favorite dishes at night. Uncle took me on a tour of the ship, the ship was larger than I initially thought. It was currently housing 30,000 residents, it was an astonishing number considering it's a medium-sized ship. Magic can do wonders, I thought to myself. The important sections of the ship were its engine room, where there was a huge crystal powering the ship. "Why is the crystal blue color uncle?". I decided to ask my uncle after seeing a small purple crystal on the left counter. "It's from a legendary grade magical beast, we hunted it in Greece. The monster was a pain, it took all of us to take it down". "What's a legendary grade?". "There are grading systems used to classify magical monsters. There are currently four grade monsters - normal grade, mythic grade, legendary grade, and colossal grade monsters". "So, the colossal grade is the strongest one?", "Yes, it's the strongest known beast, they can destroy a nation within days, but don't be scared there are no colossal grade monsters anymore. They were last seen few thousands ago". This monster crystal seems to be powering up the ship to operate, I need to look into magic crystals when I have the time.

The second most important place on the whole ship is the vast library, at least to me it is. It had thousands of books not so neatly organized but it still had a vast collection, which made me delighted with joy. I already know where I am going to be spending most of my time in. I wanted to spend more time in the library but uncle insisted I know the layout of the ship so that I don't get lost. The ship had a machinery room, seven huge kitchens, a lot of baths residential areas, and a lot more. It took us more than three hours to look through the whole ship.

It was finally time for dinner and I was actually looking forward to it, even though I am an English person I love curry. The taste just appeals to me so much and just as I expected aunt cooked curry, three different curries in fact. We all sat together to eat and aunt served both me and uncle, "Ed dear I hope the curries are to your liking, I usually don't curry much so if it tastes bad, let me know, I am going to make something else for you". It gave me a warm feeling in my chest, one that I thought I would never feel again. It made me happy that she went out of her way to make something just for me. "It's fine aunt, I doubt it would taste bad considering you are the one making it". Aunt smiled at that and all of us sat together and enjoyed the food. Eating with them made me happy and remembered me of home.

Its been two days since my time in the Amphitrite, and I have progressed a lot in magic. Though I haven't unlocked my core yet I have read 6 books on wandless magic. And I am confident I will be able to do it with some training. Many schools in Uganda teach wandless magic rather than using a wand. So, I thought of learning about it first. The problem with my left leg has improved a bit I can walk just fine, but running and other stuff are out of the question. It's sometimes difficult for me to even walk due to the pain, but I have improved since those days. And I can clearly see the improvement in my physique and health compared to what I was in the hospital. We are about to reach Uganda within a few moments, I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am looking forward to every adventure and experience Uganda is going to bring me.

We arrived in Uganda about an hour ago, and the first thing I noticed was the culture. It was like sky and earth, it was too different. the weather environment everything was different from where I used to live. It made me a bit nervous but I got over it soon thinking about how I am going to adjust and learn magic in this country. Uganda was more about the nature side, by that I mean it had hills a lot of plants, and the people seem to be interested in planting and taking care of plants. Guess that's the reason Uganda is a heavenly place for a potion's master. Everything was colorful and bright it looked beautiful, I can't wait to visit places and learn about their culture.
