Plans

*I hope all of you are enjoying the story so far, if you have any suggestions or don't like something feel free to drop a comment*

It's been a couple of days since I have started living with my uncle in Uganda and I gotta say it was nothing I ever expected. It has been a roller coaster experience. I visited the bazaar, and a few muggle locations, it was quite fun. Didn't know the muggle side could be this fun and entertaining. I learned a lot in my short visits to the local muggle streets in Uganda, it's very lively and I mean its always bustling with people. There are a variety of stalls here that caught my attention, especially the matoke( cooked bananas ) stall, it was a very tasty dish. The muggle side of Uganda is quite fun and enjoyable. Now, the magical side of Uganda is a bit complicated, Uganda is filled with wild magical beasts, there have been several attacks by magical beasts. The Uganda Ministry of magic has a special force just to tackle the magical beasts. They are known as MHS(magical beast hit squad), they specialize in hunting the beasts. There has been quite the uproar by wizards about the efficiency of this squad, apparently, an attack had happened that affected the muggle side of things. It was quite the work for the ministry to cover it up.

The magical side of Uganda is more colorful and more livid and filled with tamed beasts than the muggle side. I have encountered people that have magical beasts as their pets. It was quite nice to see all of this, the sky has various colored skyglow(faint glow) at night. There are lots of magical shops and my favorite one was the Akiki joke shop. The shop was filled with stuff that I could never think of, thanks to my Luganda speaking skills I got to buy a few pieces of stuff. The items I bought were a Ten-second voice changer, pygmy puffs, sugar quills, and a few more. I had the time of my life while visiting the stalls. I wanted to buy a lot more stuff but didn't in the end, cause I don't want to burden my uncle more than I have to.

"Young master Edwin, the breakfast is ready, the madam is calling you to come to the dining room to eat", said our house elf Droppy. "I will be there in five minutes Droppy". "Yes, young master Edwin". He said that and left, I told him to just call me by my name, but no matter how much I told him he never called me by my name. In the end, I just gave up on that idea. I went to the dining room that was filled with tasty foods. It looked straight out of fantasy, and the amount of food was too much for just three people. "Good morning Ed, how are you feeling?", "I am fine uncle, my leg doesn't hurt anymore and I feel better than usual". "Good dear, I was really worried about your leg, just don't run too much Okay EDWIN?", it looked more like a command than a request. I just cowered in front of my aunt and nodded my head. Just as we were about to eat an owl came and dropped a letter with a wax seal in front of uncle. Uncle gave a few jerky to the owl and opened the letter.

Uncle opened the letter and took out the parchment, the seal on the letter looked like Britain's ministry of magic's seal. That means, "the parchment is from Mr. Ronald Shaklebolt", said uncle before I could say it. He read the parchment aloud, "Mr.Edward I hope you and your family are in good health. I am writing this letter to inform you regarding the investigation of the Ashborn family accident. We have completed our investigation and were able to find out about the culprits. I am sure you have heard of the fanatics known as 'Acolytes', they were the ones responsible for the attack on the Ashborn mansion. For further information, I am afraid you have to come to the British ministry as we cannot provide you with sensitive information through letters. May grace abound, as you walk in the path of light". The letter burned itself the moment uncle finished reading the letter. Uncle had a grim look on his face, he had visible worries all over his face. "If it was the Acolytes, then they are not going to rest until they find what they were looking for...I don't see them attacking our family for no reason". He drifted into his own thoughts right after saying that, but suddenly he had a look of realization and hid it as soon as it came. He and aunt exchanged glances and decided to keep quiet about it. It made me very intrigued as to what it might be, but I knew that were never going to answer this question so I asked them a different but important one. "What are the Acolytes, uncle?", he looked at me for a few seconds and sighed. "It's not like it's not common knowledge so I guess I can tell you. The Acolytes is an association of fanatics wizards and witches, they believe in wizard supremacy just like the Death eaters. But they are more coordinated and are scattered all over the world. They are just as dangerous as the death eaters". With that, I decided to eat my food in silence contemplating what I should do if they come for my family again.

I went to my room and decided to make a plan for the future, how I should deal with these Acolytes if they do decide to attack us once again. I am weak, very weak I need to get strong as fast as possible. My magic core has yet to unlock until then I must do what I can to prepare myself for learning magic so that I don't waste time the moment I unlock my magic. Reading books and remembering is going to be easy as I can remember any book I have ever read once. The problem is going to be my physique, I don't have the physique to continue a fight if magic becomes useless. And then there is the mysterious power that I can use 'divination', even though I have no idea how I am able to use it. Even though I have looked through a few books I didn't find any solid concept on divination, every single book had a different approach and different theory. I am going to have a hard time figuring this power of mine out.

I am going to follow these steps until my magical core matures and I can use magic. With these, I can increase my knowledge regarding magic and its foundation and hopefully improve my physique. The divination part is going to be difficult but I am going to try to master it as fast as possible after all it's my ace in the hole.

1. Read every available book in the Amphitrite relating to divination, this will help me differentiate and find the best method I can use to master my gift.

2. Try to work out as much as possible to improve my overall physique, I believe that a man must always be prepared and shouldn't rely too much on magic. So, I will be sure to hone my body and learn something called martial arts from the muggle world.

3. Read books related to magic foundations and all the basic books to get started with being a wizard.

4. Find information on the Acolytes and the death eaters. I will also look into something called the order that betrayed us so that I can pay them back tenfold.

I need to get strong to take revenge for my parents, I will not rest until I find them and kill them with my own hands. I was thinking about all of it when I heard a knock on the door." Come in". I saw aunt come in and sat beside me. "Dear how are you feeling, you can talk to us anytime you want, okay?. We will always listen to you". "I am fine aunt, it's just that thinking about how they are still roaming free after doing all this pisses me off". "Yes, it is certainly a matter where you should be angry, and they are going to get what they deserve, but dear do talk to us if you feel bothered by anything". "yes, aunt...I will make sure I do". "Do you know what your uncle and I talked about, we decided that you should go to a preparatory magic school. You are a smart child, you have limitless potential. We want you to get the best education, so do you want to go to the school?". I thought about it for some time, though it will hinder my plans by a little it will eventually help me in the long run. So I agreed and decided to go to the school. Aunt left happily after hearing my reply, I am happy that they think about me so much. I suddenly realized something that I never asked aunt the name of the school I will be going to, oh well guess I will do that in the morning.
