 It is true that being an heretic comes with such great dark powers but it was also a myth that a pure heart will be able manifest with these powers and the world will still be safe. No one is willing to give her chance to prover herself worthy accept one man.... 



Lucas also an abomination but of a more rare type swore an oath to Princess Joan to keep her safe even at the cost of his life without having a full knowledge of what he was about to go into. 

With time his loyalty will be tested and things became more difficult when he began to discover some truth about himself. He may have started his life as soldier but things will change when royal blood was identified in him. It was at this point that the guardian himself also needed someone else to keep him safe. 



with the politics for the throne still a deciding factor in what fate holds for them, how the world will also accept two royal supernatural abominations is still yet to be seen.

A Love Between Claws and Blood

Princess Joan was confused on the decision to take. She knew her aunt was serious on tearing the whole place down if they don't bring her out. But then she wasn't sure the decison her aunty will take when she sees her and so she was confused on what to do.

What do we do Joan asked turning to Lucas who was shocked that she will be asking for his opinion for the first time.

"I think we should go meet your aunty. She is a reasonable person and will not be angry" Lucas advised immediately the question was thrown to him.

"Besides she cannot force you to return to the palace when she knows your life will be at stake" Lucas added.

Joan thought about his reply. Lucas was right although he had only stayed with them for a while now he had already judged his aunt correctly. She wasnt one to impose her will on anyone.

"Alright then let us go" Joan said as Rafinah led the way back to the Orphanage home.
