I’ve Got No Complaints

"And it felt like I was here yesterday."

"God, am I going to miss this place," she said, looking out her balcony.

Nicholas headed to the balcony.

"Done packing?" He asked her.

"Yep," she nodded.

"Ready to leave?" Nicholas asked, peppering Sophia's neck with kisses.

"Mm, maybe," Sophia mumbled, still focused on the Sanguisian gardens.

It wouldn't be a short amount of time before she'd be back here.

She inhaled sharply.

Nicholas looked behind her.

"I have to attend to something," he mumbled.

Sophia shrugged, "Go, I'll be fine."

Nicholas stared at her a bit before staring at the gardens.

"You sure?"

"Really," Sophia said reassuringly.

Nicholas left.

Sophia rested her head on her hands.

She stared at the same spot Nicholas had been shot.

Strangely, she didn't feel as scared as she was before.
