ch. 5: to rescue & protect part III

Sweet Linda climbed on the roof to get away from the zombies. she looks at Dr. Smith who is on top of the cabin in front of her. he climbed to the roof to get a better vision of the targets (he is a sniper) Sweet Linda throws a rock at Dr. Smith. he looks at her and she points at Joaquin and Beau whom are far away from them coming on their direction.

"thanks."

the reason why Dr. Smith became part of the Skull Breaking Silence is simple. he needed to be part of a guild that won't judge him for his liking to killing. in the real world he never killed anyone with his own hands but he always found the way to push others to their own death.

most people would be terrified to be drag inside of a game and become part of it, but Dr. Smith was part of the 1% that saw this as an opportunity to commit murder without going to jail for it. since he was a child he went hunting with his father so is clear that he has experience with a rifle.

Beau and Joaquin are walking in front of the house in which Dr. Smith is located. he takes his rifle and he aims at the face of Joaquin. Beau turns around and he throws a smoke grenade making it hard for Dr. Smith to look but he doesn't care. Dr. Smith shoots multiple times. Beau throws a grenade that falls on the roof of the building in which Dr. Smith is standing. the grenade explodes hurting badly Dr Smith on his left leg and causing his fall.

Sweet Linda is shooting with her eyes closed. when she opens her eyes a bullet pierces her left cheek. she falls off the roof. she opens her eyes on the ground and she looks up to a gun aiming at her face.

"let's make a deal. I ca.."

Joaquin pulls the trigger. a single bullet ended her life leaving a hole on her left eye. Joaquin doesn't show any type of emotion after killing her. Beau throws up feeling guilty for her death even when he didn't pull the trigger that ended her life.

[announcement: Fallen Hero Sweet Linda is dead.]

Dr. Smith is dragging himself unable to stand up. his left leg is badly burned and he broke his right leg on the fall. he can't do anything but drag himself to safety. many might thing that in a moment like this a person like Dr. Smith would feel horror or would cried for mercy but once again there aren't many who are like him or probably no one is like him.

Dr. Smith laughs feeling pleasure to be in the situation in which he is. he asks himself if this is what all those poor bastards felt on their last moment asking for mercy. he can't believe that he never tried feeling this sensation before. the fear to mortality is such a beautiful feeling like the caresses of a goddess.

Joaquin steps in front of Dr. Smith ready to pull the trigger but he was surprised when he saw on Dr. Smith's face the pleasure and the desire to die. Joaquin isn't a person who considers kindness to be given to an enemy but in this case killing him would be a way of kindness.

Joaquin walks away letting him live another day while Beau is asking for an explanation. he killed Sweet Linda but he left Dr. Smith live another day, that wasn't right. Dr. Smith yields feeling frustrated as he closes his eyes awaiting for death.

at the moment Choco-Coco-Latte is dragging the Psychotic Twin unconscious inside of a cellar. he ties her on a chair. he washes his hands and his face while he gets ready for some old fashion torture. the Psychotic Twin wakes up and she doesn't need of an explanation to understand her situation.

the Psychotic Twin laughs as she asks to Choco-Coco-Latte if he really thinks that he can get anything out of her mouth. Choco-Coco-Latte takes her shoes off and then he takes her socks off. he grabs one of her feet with one hand and a knife with the other hand. he looks at her with a creepy smile confirming that he ain't playing games.

"go ahead I don't mind."

those were hear words but even when she said it with confidence she was trembling afraid of the of gaze on his face.

he cuts off her smallest finger. she screams and she curse while looking with rage at his empty eyes. he is at this moment so full of rage that he can't think properly so his acts are guided by the rage that is boiling on his heart. he yields asking her for the Mad-Matician. she is in complete silence afraid of dying after telling him everything that she knows.

the Good Twin gets inside of the cellar in silence and he cries quietly when he sees his sister tied to a chair he takes a wooden bat from the floor and he walks slowly behind Choco-Coco-Latte. what he doesn't know is that Choco-Coco-Latte was awaiting for him and he even left that wooden bat on the floor on purpose.

Choco-Coco-Latte turns around and he stabs the Good Twin on his left leg. he falls on his knees. Choco-Coco-Latte walks behind of him and he puts a dagger on the throat of the boy ready to cut it at any moment. the Psychotic Twin curses, screams and cries at the same time. she asks him to let go of her brother. she insists in her brother's innocents.

"that is not enough. I want to know, where is he?"

yields Choco-Coco-Latte furious about to commit murder at any moment.

"stop that is enough."

yields Master of Lies in the entrance of the cellar.

Choco-Coco-Latte releases the boy and he walks directly towards Master of Lies. his eyes are full of tears of rage. Choco points his dagger at Master of Lies. the Good Twin unties his sister and they hug each other while they are crying loudly.

"I can take you to him. to the man who unleashed the devil living inside of you. I don't owe anything to anyone. if I guide you to him is because he is an annoying hindrance on my way and I also like those two that you were about to kill for no good reason."

"the devil sleeps when the water stream is calm, but if someone shakes the water don't blame me for the red sea that the devil might paint on his awakening."

Master of Lies leaves with Choco-Coco-Latte following him. the twins are still crying and they take med kits out of their inventory to treat each other's wounds. the Good Twin smiles telling to his sister how good is the Master of Lies to risk his own life for them and his sister doubts that he did it for them.

Master of Lies walks in silence thinking in how well is his plan going. soon those who are a threat to him are going to be slaughter in one single day. the others are going to be loyal followers of his. from the beginning his plan was to build a small army of loyal Fallen Heroes to follow him till the end of the game.

at the moment Doctor Middle Finger is on a chair drinking tea and in front of him is Organic Florist drinking coffee. at first Doctor Middle Finger thought that the leader of the Skull Breaking Silence guild was planning something, but in reality he only wanted to talk and even when they get the notifications about his guild members dying he doesn't seem to care.

Doctor Middle Finger asks to that man what are his real intentions and he only laughs. the Organic Florist seems to be enjoying of whatever is happening and he is not interested in helping his people. he puts the cup of coffee down and he looks away.

"I don't work with that people. in the beginning of the game a man appear in front of me and he told me a bit about my future. you see that team of psychos that I build was only to test the strength of your guild. we can say that this attack was part of my resume."

"you mean like you wanting to be part of our team?"

"I haven't kill anyone in this world with my own hands so based on the rules I can still change from Fallen Hero to Hero without any problem."

"you are insane."

"that is why you need of me. you need of someone like me, someone without morals holding them behind to do the dirty work so you guys can sleep every night with a clear conscious. a man with no morals can do what needs to be done in crucial moments in which doubts means death."

"now I understand why you came to me and not to the others. I am not a fighter so if they find you drinking coffee and talking about sports with me and I don't have a single scratch then they would know that you don't intend on hurting us."

Organic Florist nods with a small smile. he takes the cup of coffee and he keeps drinking while he starts talking about a different subject. Doctor Middle Finger has a gun hiding somewhere on the infirmary and he also possess a lethal type poison but he isn't going to use either. he knows that Organic Florist is right so he is going to wait for the return of the other half of the guild.

Doctor Middle Finger asks a few personal questions to Organic Florist. he only answers some and the other questions he avoids completely. Doctor Middle Finger is trembling nervously in front of this strange man that insist in wanting to be part of the guild. Organic Florist looks at the watch on his right hand for a moment.

Doctor Middle Finger puts his cup of tea down. he stands up and he keeps doing what he was doing before aware that Organic Florist won't hurt him. Organic Florist offers his help. both of them are organizing the medicine. Doctor Middle Finger sighs feeling relief knowing that he isn't in any kind of danger.

Doctor Middle Finger is worry for the others and he stop working. he is about to leave when he is stop by Organic Florist who lets him know that he would be safe inside of the infirmary. Organic Florist warns him that he isn't responsible for his safety outside of the infirmary.

"I wouldn't be here if I thought that your comrades are weak. I know I was guide by a man with a vision of the future but I also follow his instructions because I know that your comrades are stronger than most guys in this hell."

[announcement: the guild Mortal Cowards failed to rescue the Hostage.]

[announcement: the leader of Mortal Cowards would be executed.]

[announcement: the surviving members of Mortal Coward are given two choices to either enter in another guild or to become neutral players.]

at the moment on the cave everyone is following Man with no Face. Self-Bet asks him if he really believes that Beau is important and he tells her that she has no idea how important is he for his survival. Self-Bet can't believe in his words.

Chicken Wrath asks Don-Savage about his opinion about their settlement. he is worry for the other guys whom are now under attack. Don-Savage tells him to not worry and he assures him that the other guys are strong enough to survived in their own.

"I send a friend to your settlement. don't take it personal. he isn't going to hurt your teammates, actually he is in there to become part of your guild and with him on your side it would be easier for you guys to survived."

said Man with no Face sure of what he is doing.

"thanks you are so generous."

said Self-Bet with sarcasm.

"I know. that is why I am in here."

they all hear a strange sound and everyone stops moving. Man with no Face tells them that he would walk quietly forward. he is going to attack the Hydra and he tells them to be ready to rescue the hostage at the moment in which he attacks the Hydra.

Alpha Purple Warrior is nervous and he takes a cigar out of his pockets and he puts it on his mouth without smoking. Don-Savage is talking to him but he is ignoring him. Peace Inn is also talking to him and he also ignores her. he is looking at the back of Man with no Face expecting for him to betray them.

they see the torch and next to it is the hostage lying on the ground crying in fear. one of the heads of the Hydra gets close to the hostage and it smells him for a moment. Man with no Face throws a rock at the face of the Hydra. he takes two shotguns out of his inventory and he walks slowly shooting at the Hydra which extinguish the torch. the beast gets ready to attack in the darkness.

"be careful. in a moment I would attack that giant snake and I hope that you are capable enough to rescue the hostage in that moment."

said Man with no Face feeling capable of fighting the Hydra on his own.
