Andrew Marshall lowered his gaze as he realized that he deserved this. But a part of him, the proud part wouldn't let him realize his mistake.

'But she killed your mom, why are you... she killed her'

Day felt red hot anger 'And then you killed Hazel, you destroyed our family for your grudges, for your information Hazel never killed mom, it was Ash's dad, he was the mafia, mom and Hazel walked in on him stealing important documents, she understood who he was, he killed mom and threatened Hazel to not tell anyone, and we all put the blame on her, all this time she was suffering for no reason, and you were too naïve to dig deeper' Day shook his head.

He left without looking at his dad's reaction.

The door closed and Andrew Marshall fell on the floor.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day met Ash, Hazel and Leo talking together.

'So? The plan?' He didn't mention any of the talk he had with his dad.

'We will train for 2 days, it won't be easy and meanwhile we will also train our fellows'

The guys nodded.

'We will need Day's dad help, he knows how to fight'

The guys noticed how she didn't call him 'Dad' instead 'Day's dad'

'I will bring him now, he has rested already' Leo said and Hazel nodded.

They went to the ground and found that Ash and Leo had already divided troops. They now had 160 people at their command, but the troops who had surrendered were training at the back of the building away from them because Lankot's people consisted mostly of underage children, who had no idea how to fight, the one who did know were trained by Hazel for like a few weeks, they need to be stronger but now they needed to train everyone in their small army.

'Okay peeps!' Ash yelled earning everyone's attention. 'We will demonstrate how to fight by a duel, between me and Hazel Marshall'

'What?' She looked at Ash's who smirked mischievously.

Hazel shook her head and yelled 'AFTER WE CHOOSE OUR WEPAONS'

Before she could say anything Ash handed her her weapon.

'I was ready' He muttered to her.

'Oh shut up, come on'

Everyone backed up against the wall leaving a wide space for them.

Ash was wearing the usual, black jeans, jacket, and shirt, he took of his jacket and Hazel realized for the first time, he war ripped, literally, muscles she never thought would be there.

'I work out' Ash stated, noticing her gaze.

She grew red 'Shut up', while Leo and Day howled with laughter.

Her dad witnessed it, he was standing on the edge of the field.

And then they started without warning, They both striked at the same time, their blades deflected each other, Hazel plunged her sword as soon as she saw an opening, but her sword flew out of her hand as Ash parried the strike, the crowd howled, Ash smiled and threw his sword.

'Without weapons' He said and Hazel nodded.

Ash tried punching her but she deflected it and nocked her feet against his leg and pulled towards her, he fell with a crash, and stood up almost immediately. He smiled at her, and attacked again, ducking and taking her feet to make her fall, she knew hoe to stop him when he unexpectedly got behind her, his hand on her throat. 'Jeez you have gotten better' He whispered to her and she smirked, slamming a hand against his shoulder blades, he left her in shock and seeing a opening she crashed his to the ground her hand on his throat. 'Checkmate' She whispered, he smirked and raised his hands in surrender.

She left him as everyone started howling in glee and Leo wiggled his eyebrows at her, she aimed a kick at him as he ducked, howling with laughter.

Andrew Marshall had tears in his eyes, they were just kid, he thought. just kids, who deserved happiness and family... and then he realized he gave his daughter the worst life a kid could have, a family that hated her and called her a murderer, who neglected her and never thought of her as his daughter, she was innocent all that time, she deserved love and a family, a dad who loved her, but he was blind, he was blind.

Here they are training to fight, He marveled, he wondered How the hell was Hazel so collected, as far as he knew she had just seen hate her whole life, how has she not broken to pieces after all that? He marveled her bravery, and if there was one thing he knew about his daughter was that she was great at hiding her emotions.
