We stopped checking for monsters under our bed, when we realized they were inside us.....



BTW the first few chapters are chiidish as I want to imitate Hazel as when she wasn't experienced and form chapter 15 she starts to get more mature and she writes more good, so basically read as if Hazel herself is recounting her journeys and her life...THNKS FOR READING*

Hazel looked around at the people goofing around, her smile vanished as she spotted her father, and she noticed him crying, he went to the roof, and she followed him. 


Where is he? she thought, and she spotted him sitting on the edge of the roof, crying.


She went quietly and sat beside him. He felt someone beside him and he lifted his eyes to see Hazel looking at the setting sun, her eyes reflecting the colors.


Ash, Day and Leo had spotted Hazel missing and spotted her sitting with her dad at the roof, they turned on their speakers and tuned in to Hazel. They had previously given each other walkie talkies. They tuned in to Hazel to hear what was happening and Hazel allowed them by taping the button for allowance. They sat apart from each other, each had their eyes to the horizon.


Hazel looked at her dad and took his hand unexpectedly, he looked at her surprised.


'I'm sorry' He said in a broken voice. 'D-Daniel told me, that- that you didn't -kill Lia'


'I-I am messed up, N-Never thinking of you as a daughter, always neglecting you...'


There was silence before Hazel broke it 'My plan was to rescue you and them leave you, to not tell you it was me who saved you'


'Why are you with Ash? His dad killed your mom' Andre Marshall said.


Hazel sighed 'That's what makes you naïve, she is gone and having grudges cannot make her come back, all you are doing is spreading hate, its not his fault his dad was bad, he was a child, Why do you blame the innocents? Mom is gone and she is not coming back, its the harsh truth, I know, but life is a beautiful lie and death is a bitter truth.'


Hazel shook her head, and said in a soothing voice, 'Dad?'


Andrew blurted 'I am sorry, please just forgive me, I am sorry for being a bad dad, for hating you, for loathing you, for wishing you were dead, for destroying the proud girl I knew, for being your biggest insecurities, for making you hate yourself, for making you fear the world, for- for... praying you died with your mom' He started crying.


Hazel hugged him unexpectedly and whispered to him 'It's okay, I forgive you, because I don't want to carry hate when knowing I can carry Love' She smiled at him 'And no, you hating me, leaving me and all that, just made me stronger and more ready for the future, if you would have always have loved me, them I would have had weak nerves, I went through all that now nothing effects me, no dad, you didn't weaken me you made me stronger' She said.


Her dad looked at her 'I have come to know, among us both you are a far better person than me'
