An Invisible Connection!

"How come you are here today?" he asked with slight displeasure. For the first time, he was angry over her not being here every time he was.

"Going home but spotted a Lazy Cat in my way," she shrugged playfully.

"Who told you to bother it then? Just go home."

"Aww! Looks like you learned to throw tantrums in my absence," she said while pinching his cheeks playfully.

Varun snapped open his eyes at her touch and frowned.

"Stop it! Who permitted you to touch me?" he asked with squinted eyes. He felt sparks of energy coming from the place where she touched him.

She didn't reply, only laughed at his cute appearance.

"Tell me," she solemnly said.

"What?"

"Are you hungry?" she gave him her signature cheeky smile.

Varun sneered at her. What else can he expect from his bunny if not this!?

"Yea. I am," he lied, smiling lazily.

"Great, then let's have something good today," she said with crinkled eyes and nose.

They both had a good meal together. They went to the same cafe and even met Siam there. Varun felt a little relaxed now, and Somya almost forgets about her marriage after talking to him.

'What a great day,' both sighed in their hearts, still unknown to the reason for this bliss.

The next few days passed quickly. Everyone in both the family was busy, either preparing for an engagement or planning a wedding.

Only Somya and Varun were busy in different businesses. They were preparing for their Mumbai 'official tour.' The awaited day finally arrived. No. Not talking about Somya's engagement day, it's their 'official tour' day.

On Saturday

"Hey, Gorgeous! What's the plan?" Somya called Varun in the morning to ask for the time of their departure.

"I'll be at your place within 4 hrs. So be ready. If you made me wait like last time, I would leave you," Varun told her while signing files.

"Okay, baba*. I'll be standing at the gate for you," Somya giggled.

"Good."

At Afternoon

Somya was all set to go with her backpacks, waiting for him.

"Don't forget to visit your Uncle there," said Mrs. Sharma.

"Okay, Mumma," she replied, still peeping down from her window.

"Di*, bring an autograph of SRK* from there," teased her brother, Tushar.

Somya glared at her.

Suddenly, her phone rang, and she leaped towards the door happily without even checking her phone.

She opened the door but found no one there. After glancing at her phone, she found it was just another annoying relative's call. So she dragged herself back to her balcony. And kept staring at her phone for one moment and at the street in the next moment.

Mrs. Sharma, who was watching her from the side, found it odd. But she can only hope that it's not what she is thinking.

Finally, a white Volkswagen parked at the Sharma family's gate, and Somya sprinted towards the door, yelling, "Bye everyone! I'm off to Mumbai!"

After she left, Mrs. Sharma murmured, "Look at her. Is she really going for official work or vacation?"

"Let her go, dear. It's her last trip with unmarried status. Let her enjoy," said Mr. Sharma assuringly.

At the gate

"Hey, comrade!" She greeted Varun.

"Put your bags in the trunk."

"You have a driver with you too," she said, glancing sideways.

"Are you planning to make me drive all the way from Jaipur to Mumbai?"

"Oh! Hmm, you're right. It's a long journey. Thank you for letting me join you," she joined her hands to show him sincerity.

"If you're done buttering me up, then get in."

"Yes, sir!" she said with a salute and quickly moved forward.

She entered the car but been a clumsy creature, dropped her phone somewhere in the car. Just as she was about to pick it up, Varun bent himself to help her find it, and in the process, their heads collided. They looked into each other's eyes to apologize, but just as their eyes met, they both felt sparks of energy traveling in their bodies.

Time froze for them there. Their foreheads were still in contact, and their eyes locked at each other.

Our ancient history belief says, when eye contact between two people is initiated and maintained, an invisible energetic circuit is established. It is known to induce euphoria, visions, past life experiences, and even remote viewing. From here, it is possible to reach a higher state of consciousness. The saying 'eyes are the window to the soul' has much more meaning than we may realize.

When the driver started the car, their stance finally broke. Somya had a lost expression on her face. She even forgets to pick her phone up. But Varun had a confused look on his face. They both felt a Deja Vu coming from each other, but they can't tell what it is.

Somya shakes her head to feel normal. She forces a smile and tries to initiate a new conversation, "The weather is good today, isn't it?"

Varun, who had a frown, realized she is looking at him, so he eased his expressions and replied, "Hmm."

After that, they both went silent. Somya began listening to songs with her headphones, and Varun started doing some work on his laptop.

Like this, their fated journey started. Both are going on their own but will come back only if Mahakal* let them to.
