780Chapter 101: Exit stage left
Gonna put this on Hiatus, NOT dropping it, just taking an extended break because I'm liking how relaxed I am. This is for the 1,400 Fav milestone, which is niiice. Anyway, I intend to start stockpiling chapters, the next 2-4 should be the PMM bit where we yoink Mami and Kyoko, the chill in My Hero for a bit, so it'll be interesting to work around all I've done. There's gonna be a stronk Izuku, a teacher Maccillian, Heroic Spirits doing their own thing, and a bunch of other shit. I'll be having my work cut out for me it seems.
Reviews an all that will be done in next chapter... Whenever the fuck that is.
{Maccillian's POV a week later.}
After killing Zion, things calmed down. Hope, Saya and Athena, who was joined by Hestia and Eri, worked on the Shard Network, and making sure the Titans didn't end up existing. Granted, I didn't mind if they did, so they were off doing that. Yin would train with me on and off, she had her hands tied with all the reviving dead people she was doing. After she brought back Taylor's mother, an action that pretty much cemented her as the Queen of Escalation's big sister, she brought back Fortuna, who wasn't connected to her shard anymore and was currently somewhere in the world doing who the fuck knows what. She went on from there, bringing back people like 'Hero' and 'Fleur', the hero, not the little hatchling that lived in her hair... Though, at the moment, said hatchling was with Himiko, who was feeding her some raw Battle Boar meat from Lili's stash.
Anyway, the others were doing their own thing, the HOTD crew, including my wives, were doing concerts around a few states, Cu and the meatheads were fighting in the grounds, it was what they always did when they weren't relaxing, doing something productive, or some other shit. Lili and Himiko were with me in the livingroom though, and like I mentioned before, Yin's familiar was here being spoiled by Himiko and Eri, Sunny was even playing with the hatchling, and it looked like little Fleur adored the other dragonling, sort of like a big sister despite the fact Sunny was 'born' first, while Lili, Hestia and I watched on amused. Fen was by my feet, and snoozing his life away, while Missy was doing her hero thing, patrolling and all that, even though there was no point to do it, while the rest of us were just waiting. Hope and the giga brain duo were going to be done soon, so we could head back home in a bit. We were just waiting for when they were.
And apparently, it didn't take as long as we were expecting. ~To all family members, our work on the Shard Network will be complete in 10 minutes. I repeat, our work will be completed in 10 minutes. Return to our current base soon.~ That was good.
A cheer from Hestia made me blink, and turn to look down to her. My little goddess was in my lap, snug as can be, and didn't seem to mind my look. She shrugged, and looked back to the kids. "What? I miss the future." The future WAS a good place to be...
Shrugging, I turned back to see the kids playing/doing their thing, and was going to say something, but Hope made another broadcast, and one specifically for me. ~Brother, would you kindly door our wayward family here in a few minutes?~
I hummed at that, and nodded, cause I knew she would see it even if she was in another room. [Sure. Lemme know when.]
~Kay!~ Like that, she went back to doing whatever it was she was doing.
As she did that, I hummed to myself, and went back to watching over the kids. Aside from Eri, and the two hatchlings, they seemed to have heard Hope's message, and were looking excited to head back home. I was too, since that meant I could start fucking with Nemuri again, and start getting ready for my gig at U.A. (A few months before Season 1 starts...) I took a moment to realize just how different the world was going to be, and felt my lips twitch. (Himiko's not to go Yandere on Izuku, the kid himself has his aura awakened, getting an introduction to magic, and is going to get One For All in a month or two, and the whole world is starting to get accustomed to mana... Gods, we've fucked up My Hero canon so hard it's unbelievable.) Another part of me was interested in where this was going to go. They had mana now, and if my experiment works, we'll be introducing them to aura too. It was going to be one big cluster fuck of esoteric mechanics that should never have normally met... (It's gonna be awesome.)
An echo of someone clearing their throat went off in my mind, and I blinked at it. ~Big brother... Just what are you thinking?~ That got a snort, mainly because the incredulous way she said it was hilarious to me.
Shacking that off, I decided to answer my not so little sister. [It's true. We're gonna fuck up that universe so badly it'll be glorious.] She didn't respond, but I very clearly felt an eye roll come from her. Oh well.
Time went on, and as it did, I eventually got the signal to start bringing everyone in, and so, with a mental flick of Doormaker's power, I started opening doors to the others. It didn't take long for everyone to file into the livingroom, and get ready to head back home... Though, before we did, we had some goodbyes to give.
{Missy's POV a few minutes later.}
Today was the day... Looking around my Ward's room, which was mostly bare now, I couldn't help but sigh. (This is really happening...) I was conflicted, I knew it, but this was something I wanted. Being a hero was good, but I didn't need to run from my 'family' anymore. I had a dad, as weird as that was, a bunch of moms, as even weirder as that was, and sisters, which was actually kinda cool. I wasn't even getting started with my aunts or cousins, that way lied Rei, and even though I was pretty sure she was one of my favorite people, it also lied madness.
Shacking that thought off, I went back to thinking about the whole 'family of super strong people that could sneeze me out of my very comfortable mortal coil.' The day Leviathan died was probably the best day of my, and probably a majority of Earth Bet's population, life. (Getting adopted by a Werewolf Dragon man, fuck if that isn't one of the weirdest thoughts I've ever had, is awesome. Cool dad/occasional mom, a kick ass family, and a home that feels like a home... Yeah, definitely the best thing that could've happened to me.) Tapping my rose shaped focus, this thing was awesome and I was going to owe Saya for the rest of my life if she kept giving me cool shit like this, I saw I had a few minutes till I met back up with the others. So, nodding to myself, I packed up the last of my things, and gave my room one good once over. It was while I was doing that, that I realized something. "... Huh... I'm not as sad as I thought I'd be." I'd been a Ward for years, trying to get people to look passed the fact I was the youngest, to recognize that I was the best Shaker on the entire east coast...
But now, it didn't matter anymore. My new family was perfect, seeing aunt Kiriko and uncle Kendo beat the shit out of each other was awesome, and I was eventually going to be a Werewolf! That was cool as fuck! I was gonna have wolf ears, a tail, and the ability to turn into a wolf! If that wasn't one of the coolest things ever, I didn't know what was. I wasn't even getting into the whole 'aura' I'd get as a Werewolf, or the Werewolf Form that would give me a Brute: Yes rating. Being a Werewolf was going to be so badass!
Anyway, I had everything I would miss, and started heading out. We were leaving soon, and I wasn't about to be late to going to the world where everyone has fucking super powers, and SCHOOLS for said super powers. The fact that that was a thing, made me even more excited. (Plus, dad is gonna be a teacher there, and even if I can't go there yet, he'll at least save me some videos of him fucking with his students.) Did that make me a little bit sadistic? Maybe. Not like I cared though.
Walking out of my room, I entered the Ward's livingroom, and met the look of my old crush. On the couch and in their civis were Dean, who was here with Dennis, who was coming over less and less considering his dad was out and about as well as a man his age could be, and that Villains had basically all been arrested, quit, or were killed. The whole purging of the actual villains like The Fallen, made the world sorta boring. Heroes were finding less people to fight, and were getting twitchy. Though, Saya, Hope, and motherfucking Athena, worked to get rid of the whole 'fight for our amusement' thing the alien parasites did to us. (Still kinda creepy when you think about it.) It really was.
"Missy, hey!" Dennis brought me out of my thoughts, and I looked at him. He looked happier then I'd ever seen him, but again, I knew why, so there was no real point in saying anything about it.
So, smiling at him, I gave him a wave. "Hey Dennis, whatcha doin here?" I honestly expected him to be with his dad or something.
Dennis smiled at me, and waved it off. "Dad's looking into getting a car again, don't ask me why, so he's doing a bunch of stuff to get re certified or something like that."
I blinked, and gave him a look. "And you DON'T want to be there while your dad does that?" That sounded like something he'd do, so I was just confused that he was here, and not there.
The guy with the stupid hero name shrugged, and turned back to the TV/game the two were playing, Smash, and went back to playing. "Well, sorta, but dad is more of a truck guy while I'm the one with a sense of style. I mean, come on, a truck? Give me a camaro any day."
By his side, Dean paused for a moment, then nodded. I just rolled my eyes at them. (Boys.) That aside, I looked at the guys playing Smash, and couldn't help but think back to the good old days... Of last month, when the whole team was here. Carlos working gout or watching over us, Dennis doing whatever he felt like, Chris gaming or Tinkering in his room, Dean doing Dean things, and I just sighed.
That seemed to get their attention, and after Dennis lost his last life, they looked back at me, and I saw when they both noticed I had my bag, I wasn't sure how they missed it, since they both paused, and recognition showed up in their eyes. Dean looked at me, and the small part of me that still had a stupid crush on him ached. "You're leaving." It wasn't a question, so I nodded. He sighed, and put down the controller, while Dennis just looked sad. "We really can't convince you to stay?"
Even though this was a sad moment, I snorted, and shook my head. "No. There's nothing for me here. My 'mom' and 'dad'," I could practically feel the quotes as I said that, because I hadn't considered those two my parents for a long while now. "Aren't my family anymore. Hero work is boring now, and not what I signed up for. I've got a new family now though, and they make me HAPPY. I've got a cute little sister that makes me want to protect her so much you'd think it was a Master power, an older sister that grins and walks around looking like a loon, and an older but smaller then me sister that carries around a goddamn sniper. I'm not even getting into my pops or moms either, but really, the TLDR is that I've got a family that I'm happy with." There wasn't much more too it then that, even though there totally was, but that was the main point.
Dean and Dennis shared a look for a second, then both got off the couch. I watched them come over, and blinked when they both hugged me. Naturally, I hugged them back, because I'd be a bitch if I didn't, and felt just a bit sadder. I in no way shape or form teared up, and I would dump anyone who said I did into the nearest body of water I could find. "I'll miss you guys." I really would.
"We'll miss you too Missy." Not sure if that was a pun or something, but he got an out for that at the moment.
The three of us hugged for a bit, but eventually, we broke it off. Dean and Dennis smiled at me, even though the wimps had tears in their eyes, once again, I did NOT have any in mine, and I smiled back. "Try not to screw up so much. Lord knows what you'll get up to without me to keep you guys in check."
They both chuckled at that, and Dean smiled, and damn my 12 year old body and its stupid hormones! "I guess Carlos will have his hands full with Dennis,"
"Ey!" Ignoring the idiot.
"But I'll do what I can Missy." That was good enough.
We shared a small laugh at that, and for a bit, I wanted to just take a few more minutes to just stay. But I couldn't. So, with a smile, that I wasn't 100% feeling, I walked away from my friends and teammates, and waved them off. They waved back, crying like dorks as they did, and I walked out the door, not looking back.
As the door closed behind me, I shook my head, and held back whatever tears tried to fall. (Come on Missy, we're a soldier, we don't cry.) I rubbed my eyes with my free hand, and decided to tap my focus after I was done. I needed something to help get my mind off that goodbye, I had already given Armsmaster and Renick my notice so there wasn't a point in letting them know personally, and I knew what would work. "Set volume to 30%, open my playlist, and shuffle." My focus didn't come with songs, but the rest of my family all had their own tastes, and I got a bunch of good recommendations. As the song started playing, I walked out of the RIG, listening to the beat and lyrics as I did.
And when I heard a specific part, I realized that I had to have some kind of luck god or something to have gotten the song I needed to hear.

I didn't bother fighting the smile that grew on my face at that, nor the spring in my step. (Yeah, we're going places Missy, and we won't ever stop.)
{5 minutes later}
Warping my next step onto a rooftop, I ended up where I had to be, and was overlooking my new family, along with Yin and her group. There were also a bunch of civis around, because both groups were waaay too noticeable for a massive gathering like theirs to be unnoticed. My little sister was hugging Yin, with her little dragon on her head as she did, while everyone else was in their own separate group. My big sister Himiko was fucking around with Aisha, making hell for Brian, Taylor was being crushed in a hug from my main mom, Alec was on the side talking shit with my dad, mom Rika, and aunt Kiriko, then there was Rachel and Lisa. The former was with her dogs, and was talking to uncle Kendo, and they seemed to be having an actual conversation, instead of her usual grunts and rough sentences. Lisa though was 'talking' to Athena, though it was more like she was being talked at by the literal goddess. From where I was, I couldn't tell if she was embarrassed, or amused... (Emused?) No idea.
Though, as I looked at everyone, I didn't see my eld...- "Are you going to be staying up here while everyone says goodbye?" I damn near jumped out of my skin when her voice sounded off by my side. I managed to NOT fall off the roof, and turned to glare at the materializing form of my 'elder' sister, who was just smirking at me. "Oh, did Lili surprise you little sister? We're sorry." I could FEEL the sarcasm dripping from her at that.
So, huffing, I did my best to give her my most indignant look possible. "We both know you're not sorry, so pull the other one sis."
My shorter, but still elder sister, rolled her eyes, but kept the cheeky smirk on her face. "And here Lili thought our new sister would appreciate our sense of humor."
My eye twitched at that. "I do, just when it's not used on me. I'll laugh my ass off when you do something to Himi or the Mami girl we're going to be picking up, but just not me." It was true. My elder sister and my older sister liked to prank the fuck out of each other, and while it was funny as hell watching or listening to the two of them go at it, I wasn't interested on being on the other end of their antics.
Lili gave off an exaggerated sigh, and shook her head at that. "What a shame, Lili guesses she'll just have to settle for the crazy bitch we call a sister...-"
"YO?!" We both blinked, and peered over the ledge of the roof we were on, and met the incredulous look from our sister in the street, aside from our baby sister and the more 'human' members of the group who just seemed confused.
I was pretty sure we both noticed the smirks on pretty much everyone else's faces, but we focused on Himi, who our eldest sister smirked at. "You heard me." Big sis Himi yowled at Lili, but the silver haired Stranger just laughed.
Himi looked ready to jump up to the roof and pounce on Lili, but a sharp whistle made the both of them pause, and we all looked to our dad, and saw the amused smirk on his face. "C'mon smols, Little Garden! We're headin out in a sec!" I growled at the nickname my dad gave me, and was tempted to fold some space around him, maybe make up be left and down be 75 degrees to the right, but I held back because he would just laugh at it.
The name came from dad making a joke about some anime called 'Violet Evergarden', main mama Shizuka had perked up when he mentioned it so she probably liked it, and I ended up with that name. The whole 'Little Garden' thing didn't get me THAT much, I kinda liked it a bit, though I wasn't going to let anyone know... I ignored the cheeky grin on my aunt Hope's face, calling the Simurgh 'aunty Hope' still weirded me out a bit, and stepped down to the street, while my sister hopped off the roof, and skipped towards the rest of the family like she WASN'T just insulting our sister. She had balls of steel, and I loved it.
Anyway, I was right next to dad, who smirked down to me, and started messing up my hair! "Nooo!" I tried batting his hand away, but my 12 year old self was just incapable of fighting off the old ass Werewolf dragon man. I settled for glaring at my dad, with all the impunity I could muster. "I will have my vengeance old man!" In my mind, I added a bit to that statement. (Might take a few years though, but I will have it!)
Dad barked out a laugh at that, and gave me a patronizing pat, all the while smirking that motherfucking smirk! "You're free to try Little Garden, ain't gonna happen though, so it'll be a fun waste of time." I growled at him for that, and he just laughed. I'd get him for this...
No matter what.
He stopped messing with my hair after that, and I took a look at everyone around us as he did. Yin and the former Undersiders looked amused, Taylor still seemed to be catching her breath after main mom tried to kill her with her tits... (Please god and any/all deities that exist may I only get up to a C, D at the VERY most.) There was a choked cough from who I assumed to be aunt Hope, but I ignored it because getting used to the fact the former Endbringer just casually reads my thoughts lied down a path of madness, and it was too early for me to go insane.
Back to the groups, dad and the rest of our family, not counting the literal Hero among us, seemed just as if not more amused then Yin and her Undersiders. The hero though, sorta seemed impatient. "I'm not one fer subtlety, so imma say it out right." That got everyone's attention, and as they looked at him, The Hound of Ulster gave dad a look. "We gonna gooo, or ya still got somethin to say?"Rude, but a good question.
Dad took his hand away from my head, and looked around at the rest of the family. Main mama Shizuka's tail was wagging like crazy, but she didn't say anything against it. Badass mom Rika was just fucking around with her gum, and gave off a nod. Big sis/sort of mom Saeko looked calm, and seemed ready to leave whenever. Bigger sister/also sorta mom Saya was tapping her foot against the sidewalk, so she definitely wanted to head out. Mama Hestia, I wasn't sure I'd ever get used to the fact one of my adoptive mothers was a literal goddess, just had a smile on her face and was rocking back and forth like she didn't care. Auntie Kiriko and the rest of the group were just waiting on dad, so it looked like we would probably be leaving soon.
The silver haired man that turned my life around nodded at all of them, and turned back to Yin. "Well, look like we're headin out. So, Yin, try not to mess things up, I'd haaate to have to come in and do everything myself." We all knew, aside from little Eri, that was complete bullshit. He'd help if she asked, solely for the chance to rub it in her face that she needed help again.
Yin seemed to get that too, since she narrowed her eyes at him, and huffed. "Yeah, I'll just pretend I believe that." Dad shrugged, and looked to the rest of the Undersiders.
Starting with the most infuriating Thinker I've ever met, he hummed, then spoke. "I'm technically your king, so I'm obligated to take care of you. If you need something from me, ask Yin to party me." Lisa nodded, surprised and excited at the fact that she basically had a 'Werewolf Dragon King' to call on card.
(Still dunno what he sees in her, she's infuriating.) The Thinker looked at me at that, and I stared at her. (You heard me bitch.) She just blinked at me, so I reaffirmed that no, she didn't read my thought. (Good. Fucking Thinkers.)
~As amusing as this little bit is, I will have to say I'm sort of offended.~ ANYWAY! I WASN'T going to think or even look at the smug sounding aunt in my mind, and just pretend it didn't happen. ~Aww.~
(PRETENDING IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!) I didn't know how my privacy invading aunt took that, but I focused on the now, and just prayed to whatever other gods existed that I would get used to this fast.
Moving on from her, he looked at Rachel, who had her main three dogs by her side, and gave her a nod. "You don't need me to tell you to tell you what to do, just keep up what you've been doing, and live." Rachel nodded back, and her dogs dipped their heads when dad looked at them. "Same for her, keep your pack and safe." Seeing three dogs straighten up, and bark like they were ordered by a Sargent, was weird, but not the weirdest.
Then came Aisha, who was practically bouncing on her heels. "You're fun, keep being fun." The grin the Stranger gave off was only matched by my sister Himiko, and that was terrifying.
After the demonic Stranger was her brother, who looked like he'd rather be anywhere but here. "I don't really care about you, but uh... Don't keel over I guess?" That got some snorts from Aisha, Alec, Lisa, Yin, Auntie Kiriko, and a few other people that weren't in my immediate field of view. Brian just nodded, and tried to pretend that he wasn't just given the worst farewell in the history of farewells.
Lastly, he turned to Taylor, the girl that that bitch Sophia gave hell for no reason at all, and gave her a massive grin. "You have my blessing to give every single person in the world all the bug phobias."There were laughs all around at that, because it WAS funny, and even my sisters' dragon was chirping loudly, the little guy had a good sense of humor for a baby.
Taylor chocked on something, and needed Aisha and Lisa to give her a good smack to the back to not die from it. "T-Thanks?" It was even funnier given the confused and embarrassed look she responded with.
Dad snorted, but just waved it off. "You're welcome." After that, he looked over the Undersiders, then nodded before turning back to the rest of us. "Anyone else got anything to say, or no? If ya don't say it now, you'll fore...-"
"No, we get it Millie, hurry up and open the way for my other daughter." Dad blinked, and stared at the smirking auntie Kiriko. It was funny seeing his brow and tail twitch, even his ears flicked in annoyance. Aunt Kiriko just smirked at him, and uncle Kendo laughed.
Huffing, dad looked down to little Eri, and put on one of the worst 'hurt' faces I've ever seen. "Unicooorn, your aunt is being mean." That got snorts out of pretty much everyone, main mom Shizuka and big sis Saeko were too nice/stoic to snort at that.
It seemed to work, since little sis Eri blinked at dad, then turned to pout at auntie Kiriko. "Be nicer to mommy, auntie Koko!" That just made everyone laugh at the way a six year old little girl told off a grown ass woman.
Said woman rolled her eyes, and flicked her tail in a 'eh' motion. (Is it weird that I'm getting used to figuring out body language by just looking at their tail?) I knew I was getting infected by my family's weirdness, this was just proof.
~Not entirely sure.~ Goddammit...
I subtly turned to my aunt, and looked her in her eyes. She was way to smug for my health or liking. (Do you HAVE to do that?) Her lips twitched, and I got a feeling of someone with a Royal Flush about to cash in against a millionaire... I blinked, and gave her a look. (The fuck?)
She started to innocently whistle, but we both knew she wasn't innocent.
Anyway, I tuned back into what was going on, and saw dad wrap his tail around little Eri, and bring her up to his shoulders, so now she had the second best seat around. She giggled as she settled down, and gave my sisters and I a triumphant look... Which made the three of us share a look of our own, and I would swear to all the gods around that we all had the same thought. (We'll get her when she's older.) It warmed my heart that we were all vindictive bitches.
After that, dad cleared his throat, and got all of our attentions. "Alright, guess we're doing this now." Saying that, he hummed, then stamped a foot to the ground. "Door to the Zaka family manor." A silver gate opened up by our side, the scene on the other end looked similar to the place we were staying, but there were differences like it actually having colors other then silver, and he looked towards The Hound of Ulster, as well as uncle Kendo. "Ladies first, ya know." If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was literally talking to a woman with the pure way he said that.
Both men blinked, shared a look, then turned to scowl at him, while auntie Kiriko and badass mom Rika laughed. "Laddie, yer SO unbelievably lucky to have the babe on yer shoulders." Dad snorted, while little Eri stuck her nose in the air like she won something.
He ended up just waving that off, and motioned towards the gate. "Whatever, just go. We'll be there in like, a day or something, I dunno how long it'll take." Uncle Kendo and Cu shared another look, and shrugged. They started walking towards the gate, and dad turned to the other two boys of our group. "You two going with them? Or are ya comin with us?" Like the duo before them, the boys shared a look, then turned to Rei and Kiriko.
My cousin and aunt shared a look of their own, which was happening a lot, and both shrugged. "I don't care, I just want my new kid." It was funny to me that she was dead set on getting whoever this 'kid' was, without even meeting her.
Rei nodded with what her mom said, and grinned. "We can do whatever we want later. I have a sister to dote on and claim as my own!" The comical way she raised her fist, and shook it, gave me Mouse Protector vibes.
The boys both shrugged at that, and Takashi gave a quick hug to his girlfriend. "Alright. See you soon Rei." With that, he followed after the other men.
Kohta nodded to dad, who nodded back. "I'll keep them in line, sir!"
Now that got a snort out of almost all of us of the fairer sex, and a smirk from dad. "Not to say I don't trust that, but considering there's a new irishmen in my house, imma need some insurance. Sooo." Whistling, his familiar, and what USED to be Behemoth, perked up, and looked at him with its molten eyes. "Make sure Cu doesn't destroy our home."
The walking doomsday monster barked its agreement, and was about to take a step towards the gate, when a certain Hero turned around, and 'scowled' at dad. "OI FUCK YA SAY?!" Almost everyone ignored the irate Hero.
Dad was not one of those people. Bringing his hands up, he covered little Eri's ears, much to her confusion... So she somehow missed the curse, and 'glared' at the Irish Hercules. "There are children about ya git!" Ah... Didn't think he cared about that.
The Irish Hero stuck his head through the gate, and just STARED at dad, who stared back. "... Fuck you." Sticking his head back in, he ran when a hail of aura bullets from badass mom shot through the gate, a few pink Nevermore blurred into existence and flew after him, a golden hammer was thrown at him, a purple sword spun like a buzz saw and shot into the gate, and a hail of shimmering rainbow arrows were fired at him...
Huh... Looking at all of my mothers, (Weeeeeird!) It would've been impossible to miss the sheer vindictiveness on all of their faces... Well, main mom Shizuka just looked aloof, but the spark was there in her eyes, I saw it!
Anyway, dad barked out in laughter as he watched the Irish Hero do his best to fend off the attacks from my annoyed mothers, which somehow hadn't damaged anything on the other side. "That'll teach ya to watch yer mouth in front of my child ya eegit!" The shout of annoyance from Cu was drowned out by a yelp, Fen had crossed the gate and ended up chasing after Cu for some reason, so now he had to pay more attention to the monster nipping at his heels... It was hilarious really. "Anywaaay." Looking up, and taking his hands off her ears, he met little Eri's gaze, who just blinked at him. "You wanna head home, or come with us to meet your sister first?"
My little sister stared at him for a few seconds, then blinked. "Is the cake monster going to be there?" The what?
Aside from Himiko, everyone else seemed to know what she was worried about, because she WAS worried, and our moms seemed to move just a tiny bit closer. Dad just looked at her, and tilted his head at the question. "Not sure. She might not be a Witch," A WHAT? "Yet... Doesn't matter if she is though, since we'll be there." The chirp that came from Sunny, who was flapping his little wings, seemed to help, since she gave a big ol smile. "So, coming?" My little sister did a cute 'mhm', nodded, and almost made Sunny fall off her head with the motion, which was hilariously adorable. Dad grinned though, and his tail swished about happily, which was cute.
"Nice." He looked around now, and other then ignore the way Cu was fighting against a levitating and surprisingly vengeful hammer, nothing seemed wrong. So, nodding, he closed the gate to our actual home, and hummed again. "Door to the roof of Homura's hospital." A new gate opened up right where the first one was, and without any warning, auntie Kiriko and Rei dashed through it... We all blinked for a second, then dad shrugged. "Oook... Anyway." Big sis/mom Saya and badass mom Rika snorted, while auntie Hope giggled. "Next." And so the next ones went.
Said next ones were my sisters, Himiko was skipping along while whistling a tune, and Lili was just walking along like this was a normal thing to her. After them were my younger moms, and they stepped through the gate after a wave to Yin. After them were my main mom and badass mom, who both had smiles on their faces, badass mom Rika's was more of a smirk, and they passed through the gate without wasting a second.
That just left dad, aunt Hope, little Eri, mom Hestia, and me. I didn't count Sunny since that little guy was a baby. Dad looked at me, brow raised, and I didn't need much to figure out what he was asking, and I shrugged. "Can I make a 'not in Kansas' joke? Or is that too simple?"
That got snorts from those around us, and dad, but he just laughed. "Nah, go for it."
"Sweet." So, with a hop, skip and a jump, I Stepped towards the gate, and walked through the other side...
And immediately had a headache like I just Stepped face first into a wall, which I HAD done before, but way worse. Thankfully, because there used to be this alien parasite in my brain, I was so going to thank Saya and Hope for fixing that issue, my brain was wired differently. Maybe a minute or something after I stepped through the gate, I recognized that I knew Japanese now! (Sweet! Now I don't have to study another language when we actually go to our real home.) I was legitimately worried about that, but apparently I shouldn't have been.
After I was back in order, I noticed how everyone else, aside from auntie Kiriko and Rei since they were just GONE, were looking at dad and aunt Hope, with amusement all over their faces. So, turning to see why, I noticed mom Hestia, little Eri, and Sunny had come through at some point, probably when I was downloading an entire language, and some world history. That just left dad, who had his arms spread out, and a massive smirk on his face. "-And to leave you with one last thing!" Suddenly, his earring, which was actually a motherfucking sword, started disappearing in a silver glow, and then the pressure came. Even being on the other side of the gate didn't stop me from feeling it, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
Anyway, everything around the gate back home was glowing silver, and I could just FEEL dad's power just flooding out from him. I had no idea what he was doing though. Though, sorta mom Saya, did. "You were serious about that?!" Said mom's shock made dad laugh like a madman, which he probably was, and everyone else look at her. I could tell SOMEONE wanted to ask what the hell he was doing, but the ground back in my home world, and wasn't THAT a thought? Was pulsing now, and we didn't get the chance to ask after aunt Hope laid a hand on one of his shoulders, making everything glow brighter as she and dad glowed like suns. Though, they weren't done yet, since dad started explaining. "On my own, I could cover 75%, probably 80% of America, at the VERY least. Buuut! With my handy dandy and trustworthy sister, we can cover America, Canada, aaand Mexico! Probably a bit of South America too, but eh, let's ignore them for a second." Huh... That was scary...
From our side of the gate, we could see the shock on Yin and her groups' faces, and it was funny, sure, but still... (What would they need to cover the continent for?) I had no idea, but I was about to find out.
Dad grinned with all of his teeth now, and his tail happily smacked the ground. "Now, you may be wondering, 'Oh Maccillian, why would you want or need to cover the U.S of A for?'" Well... Yeah... "I'll tell you my good people. It's to do this!" And suddenly, everything glowed silver and white.
"~For it is passing that we achieve immortality!~" The moment he and aunt Hope said that, I understood, and it looked like the rest of my family, Yin, Lisa, and Taylor did too. "~Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death! I release your soul and by my shoulder protect thee!~" Even if I couldn't see the auras of every bystander on the other side unlock their aura, I still would've FELT it. It was like a nuke went off in front of us, it was just crazy that way. Recovering from THAT whole thing, I managed to see dad bark out laughing at the look Yin was giving him.
But he apparently wasn't done yet. "TO THE PEOPLE OF BROCKTON BAY, AND EARTH BET I GUESS, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ALL ABOUT YOUR FANCY NEW SUPER POWERS, ASK YIN XIAO-LONG/THE MORRIGAN! THIS IS YOUR HANDSOME SUPREME RULER, SIGNING OFF, GOODBYEEE!" Oh... My... God... My dad was an asshole of the highest order! That's awesome! He didn't even care about the way she reacted, because he grabbed aunt Hope, and blurred into our side of the gate, and closed it.
Though, none of us missed the 'MACKYYY!' Before he did.
When he made it through. he laughed a loud and boisterous laugh, while aunt Hope thrilled happily, in what was basically cackling for her. "That'll be great till the end of days!" Like that, the silence from our side was broken, and the first to join them was Himiko. She cackled a storm, which was immediately followed by badass mom Rika.
By the end of it, the only ones not cackling were main mom Shizuka, mom Hestia, and big sis/mom Saeko... Mainly because cackling was beneath them, and they prefer to giggle.

Yesterday, at 1:10PM, Leviathan made landfall at Brockton Bay. The initial assault was by far one of the most aggressive starts to an Endbringer battle in recent history. Beginning with a wave twice the normal size and ferocity our defenders were accustomed too, Leviathan wasted no time in taking the streets of Brockton Bay. The assault made quick work of our defenders, only for a Hero to personally engage the Endbringer, not only seizing its attention, but putting the Endbringer on the back foot. Hero: The Morrigan, fought Leviathan for a minimum of 10 minutes. During that time, Leviathan showed capabilities not yet seen. After Leviathan had sustained enough damage, it began to retreat, only for the defenders to be faced with one final wave that by all rights, would have sunk Brockton Bay, and left the nearest states with catastrophic damage.
Fortunately, this outcome was prevented when The Morrigan seemingly called an ally to aid her. This ally appeared from what seems to be another earth, and within a minute, destroyed the Endbringer. This ally's name is currently unknown, but sources say he is friendly.
The battle went on outside of those three however, and after a particularly deadly attack by Leviathan, casualties amounted to 73 Heroes/Villains/Independents. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of our brave defenders.

Ok, so, we all know about what the hell happened to Leviathan, and finally, after a few days, I've got everything we should know. (Mainly because I kept bugging The Morrigan and All_Seeing_Eye for answers, but that's neither here nor there.)
Firstly, the name of the man that came out of the portal is 'Maccillian Silver Zaka', and he's a Werewolf, if the ears and tail didn't give it away, I don't know what would. Firstly, the guy is OLD, we're talking nearing 3,000 years old, OLD. He was a king and the whole nine yards.
Secondly, the guy can just casually go to other worlds, so, sorry Professor Haywire. He can even bring others with him, so the other people with the same ears and tails? Yeah...
Thirdly, he's got POWER. We all know what happened to Leviathan, the sight and experience was felt even in Jersey. From what I've been told, that's not even the worst of it.
Fourthly, he can turn into a wolf, obviously, as well as a three headed dragon... Also obviously. But, what ISN'T obvious, is that he has other dragon forms... Because if anyone was worried about an Endbringer to end all Endbringers, now you can too.
Fifthly, he's basically Scion, but more relatable... Sorta. Guy came out playing a theme song, has kids, and multiple wives, and also has a sense of humor. Sooo, sort of down to earth if you ignore the 'Werewolf Dragon' bit...
Anyway, Morrigan and All_Seeing_Eye have told me that our temporary supreme ruler will only be here for a few weeks at the least, so he and the rest of his 'pack' 'deal with this godsforsaken shithole.' His own words.
Anyway, yeah... That's all I know... I'm going to get stoned out of my mind now.
