The only thing ensuring me that yesterday's events were real is Christine, still enthusiastic and unusually suggestive.

"We've been together for barely 12 hours! Nothing's happened and nothing's gonna happen! What do you expect?" I exclaim after the fifth comment, my face red from all the embarrassing things she said.

"Nothing's gonna happen? Are you sure? That's not what I saw yesterday," she laughs.

I don't respond, instead just finishing my tea before leaving the room, quickly saying goodbye to her.

"Try to wait till you get home before you get him!" she responds, still laughing.

I ignore her, quickly fleeing out of the house and making my way to school. The sky is clear, the sun is starting to warm up the earth, there's barely any wind. The perfect weather to take a walk.
