Leaving Ingracia

"You heard me. You've been here for a month."

"No we haven't. It's been a few hours." I retorted as a closed my book.

"In my domain I control everything in here. This place is made from my skill [Small World] it's like making a labyrinth. What I want to happen happens. I just made time permanently slower here." She said proudly.

"I'm honestly surprised you can do anything. Your aura is so small so I'm just not believing you're a demon lord." I said looking at her blankly. Mia kicked my foot under the table, I mean I wasn't wrong.

"That's because I go through a cycle of Life and reincarnation. I retain my consciousness and memories from my previous lives, so I have to go through a maturing stage." She explained dejectedly.

"So you have the power of a demon lord when you're done maturing, but when your lifespan as the spirit queen runs out you reincarnate as you are now and weak. Until you mature again?"

"That's the gist of it." She said with a sigh. I felt a tap on my hand and I looked over to Mia.

{Is there something you can do?}

She wanted me to help this pitiful fairy. Is there a reason not to? She let us in here and gave us free choosing over what to do here. She also helped Mia with this knowledge.

And to be honest, I got some stuff from these books too, but would I go so far as too give her immortality?

{Please?}

She started begging.

Bruh, god damn. I sighed deeply. Usually this wouldn't even effect me.

{Yeah.}

"I think I can solve your problem." I said. She looked at me with a blank face along with all the other spirits.

"How!?!" She asked excitedly as she started shining.

"I got manipulation over life force. If the problem is that you have a lifespan as the spirit queen I can make it so your life force is infinitely being supplied. Giving you immortality." I explained.

She looked at me and got tears in her eyes before rubbing into my face and "hugging" me. I let that go on for a while even though I was uncomfortable? or Unsure? Of what to do in that situation.

"Thank you. I'll be in your debit." She said with a salute and wide smile. I nodded and raised my hand. A ball of green light was building up in my palm. The ball was way bigger than her I think she got a little frightened.

"Calm down, it's gonna go in slowly." I said plainly.

"Not in that way idiots." I said seeing their faces go red. Mia laughed at my side as she scooted closer to observe the ball.

I stopped gathering life force once I felt that a universe died. Then I made the ball slowly form a line of green energy going into her body. It was like water going down a drain, but a little slower.

Once it was done, we waited.

"How long does it usually take for you to mature?" Mia asked as she herself had a notebook out. She had been taking notes and even organizing some stuff when I got messy. Well it was my own version of being organized.

"About ten thousand years. I think." She said unsurely. I nodded and a she was surrounded in a see through blue ball. I sped time up till I saw her body growing. And closed my eyes, so I didn't see her naked.

I'm still a decent person.

"Alright, you can stop." I heard her voice and stopped.

"You can open you eyes now." Mia told me. I opened them and a Ramirus was human sized and with a more mature body type. She was like a teenager right now.

"Why didn't you do it?" I asked Mia. She has life force manipulation as well hand could use it just fine on living thing, human or not.

"I would have had to take it from living things here. Unlike you I can't just open up portals to different worlds." She said.

"Right. Well how do you feel?" I asked Ramirus. She twirled around as she looked at her body.

"I feel fine and stronger now. It felt like back then." She said with a smile.

"What's back then?" Mia asked.

"I mean when some kid came asking if he can summon a high-level light spirit. Light spirits off protection to those with the aura of a hero. He successfully summoned one and was a hero." She said.

"So he was given some type of divine protection?" She asked.

"Correct, but he became a demon lord for some reason. Maybe trying to copy me, but I'm stronger." She said proudly.

"So he went through all of that just to be a hero? But now he's a demon lord. It doesn't make sense." Mia said.

"Right!!"

"He even had the balls to steal a high-level fire spirit." She said in frustration.

"This fire spirit wouldn't be named Ifrit, would it?" I asked.

"Yeah, but how did you know? Are you friends with him too?" She asked curiously.

"Nah, the enemy of my friend is my enemy. I think that's how it go." I said.

"No, in fact you said it completely wrong." Mia said with a sigh.

"Not gonna lie I'm probably dumbest smart person in the world." I said hunching my shoulders.

"I know." She said patting my back.

"Now that I think about it why did you come here in the first place?" Ramirus asked.

"We we're just exploring, but since we're here. We might as well help Mia summon a long time friend." I said.

"You just need to do a small prayer for her, but when she comes ask for a formal bonding mark."

Mia nodded and put her hands together. With a calm smile on her face her she started emitting a golden glow around her skin and body. Her clothes changed to an all white dress and she got this golden headpiece with a gem in it.

"Wooooooah. She look so…angelic." Ramirus said. The light spirits gathering around her made the scene even more magnificent. I looked on as a gray ball of light was gradually growing.

The ball expanded and what came out of it was slightly surprising, but expected at the same time.

"What's that? I've never heard of it before and it feels dangerous." Ramirus said as she looked at the spirit with skeptical eyes.

"She's from a different world." I said.

The spirit had Snow White hair with a halo above her head. Not only that but, she had pitch black wings along with a black dress. She looked like an incarnation of life and death or good and evil.

Mia opened her eyes and looked at the spirit in front of her. She looked surprised, but then hugged the spirit with a sweet smile. The spirit who didn't bat and eye at us hugged Mia back in age tall way.

"Sera, can we do a formal bond?" Mia said as she looked at the quiet spirit. It smiled and nodded its head. She took her halo and took some energy from it till it formed a diamond shape and she put it on Mia's hand.

It spread over hand and glowed a hot pink color before disappearing. It bowed and looked back at me and nodded. Then disappeared with it's wings wrapped around it.

"Well that was an experience." Ramirus said with a sigh.

"How do you feel?" I asked Mia. She went back to normal. She walked towards me with quick steps and stopped right in front of me. While looking at each other dead in the eyes everyone went quiet. Mia leaned forward quickly and buried her head in my neck with her arms wrapped around it as well.

I let out a breath I didn't think I was holding. I mean, I'm okay with how close she was but not a kiss. At least she thought about what I would consider "the line".

I hugged her back for a while till she released me.

"Now that your moments' over, you have to do what you promised." Ramirus said.

"Is immortality not enough?" I said with a sigh. She shook her head with a pout.

"I'm friends with two 20,000+ year old children." I muttered. I took out a few mech blueprints I thought of and let her choose from ten options. She could get two of them.

Ultimately she chose two that I was actually planning on making for fun. They would be sentient beings even though they are basically magical machines.

Mia also decided to help since she also read about magical engineering.

Ramirus chose to choose the Excalibur and Nyx blueprints. They were both attack robots, but I was going to make it so they can use magic. Well magic augmentation and a few magical abilities.

With that I got the parts from my storage and we began making them. Honestly it was a bit complicated, but after getting down the magic system I wanted it was easy.

"That was nice. Just inject some of your magic for them to build off of and they should be up and running." I said.

She put her hand on the chests of what we decided to call Warframes, and let some of her magical energy flow into them. Immediately they looked around the room. We looked at them for a moment as they moved around like normal humans. They then looked at us or more specifically Ramirus. They walked over to her and kneeled in front of her.

"Well Ramirus, it looks like it's time for us to head out." I said as I turned to look at her.

"When the time comes you can call on me for assistance." She said with a bow. I shook her hand and Mia hugged her. After that we left the labyrinth. I also told her if she ever left that she can come to the forest of Jura and visit me and Mia.

With that we went back to Ingracia. We wanted to spend a few more days the city and make some new things with knowledge we now have. For the next week or so me and Mia had been making things, eating out, and just enjoying ourselves.

Today we would be leaving Ingracia. We didn't stay in the inn the entire times so we bout a temporary house. After putting all of our stuff into our respective domains we left the city.

(Third POV)

While they were out they had no idea of what's been going on in Tempest. Rimuru would be leaving Ingracia just a few minutes after them. They were on different sides of the city so the fact that they didn't meet wasn't a surprise.

The city was under attack by the Famas Kingdom. The western saints church imperial guards were attacking Tempest. They were holding out, thanks to Benimaru, Hakurou, Shuna, Shion, and Souei, and the natural forces they had, but the enemy had numbers.

There were a lot of fatalities involved in this attack. The captain of this force Hinata Sakagichi was tasked with handling the monsters known as Rimuru Tempest, Akihito Kisaragi, and Mia Kisaragi.

She didn't have a last name, but their sources say that the two were married so they went with it. The others were handling themselves, but there was some sort of barrier that limited their magic, weakened them, and killing most of the weak monsters within the barrier.

They were able to set up a light barrier with the runes provided by Akihito, but they couldn't make it as strong. They tried contacting Akihito through the runes, but the barrier blocked the magic output for him to receive the signal.

With all of this going on without the strongest of the city there. It was in complete chaos. Kayda, Mufasu, and Severus were constantly being hit with holy magic, magic jamming, and ruby like hems that fucked with their senses.

They were calamity class monsters at most, mainly because Akihito just wanted them as normal pets after they rubbed off on him so he only showed them how to survive. They weren't accustomed to a well thought out plan of humans to come and fight them.

With the city covered in a huge barrier made by over 30,000 people and 1 demon/witch they were extremely weak.
