Meeting and Veldora Pt.2

I nodded as we started walking out of town.

"Who's this person you want me to meet?" I asked.

"He's a strong guy, but I have to release him first." Rimuru said with a small smile.

"Release?…Oh, you mean Veldora?" I asked after a moment of thought. What other strong person does he have locked up? Well Ifrit, but nah.

"Ehhh!?! How'd you know!?" He asked as he looked at me with his eyes looking like they would fall out of his head.

"I can feel it's energy. Like when you're doing things it's not from your power, but from his. You were stealing his magiculs up until you trained in the eight rings of hell." I explained.

"…I see, so it's a waste of time then?" He asked dejectedly.

"Nah nah, I still want to meet him. He probably knows me already, but I want to meet a true dragon."

'Hmm, would Kayda be a true dragon?'

With that we walked till we came into the labyrinth where Gabiru and his dragon newts were working.

"Oi Gabiru, since I decided to leave the development sector to you, you are now an executive. You'll eat present at all of our important meetings do your best." Rimuru said as we walked deeper into the Labyrinth.

Gabiru was completely stunned.

"Oi Oi, calm down for now. We have something to take care of in the deeper parts of the cave. Make sure no one approaches.

"If I'm right Veldora is like a guardian to the forest of Jura right?" I asked.

"Yup, be there was some trouble and I ended up eating him." He said.

I nodded as I saw him walk over to the center of this huge opening in the cave.

"Now I release you…Veldora." Saying those words a huge wind kicked up around him. Dust and rocks flew everywhere and a flash of light struck the cave walls.

"KUKUKU. KUAHAHAHAHA. KUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!. THIS IS MY GRAND RESURRECTION!!" A deep voice said after long laugh.

I saw Rimuru tremble slightly, but sighed afterwards.

"Yo, long time no see how ya been?" He said to Veldora who looked at him with a blank expression.

"…Now after my long awaited revival you treat me so flippantly?"

"But I came back sooner than I expected. I was thinking a few more years and I'd be back." He said crossing his arms.

"Well some things happened and I became a demon lord. My unique skills evolved into ultimate skills so the analysis was faster. Anyways this is Akihito one of my best friends. Akihito this is Veldora the storm dragon. My very first friend in this world." Rimuru said.

"Hello." I said with a nod.

"Hmm, you have quite the magic power. Although you but a mere human you could be a demon seed." Veldora said as he inspected me.

I thought I was keeping it lower though. Actually fuck that, I'm finna meet the demon lords so I might as well let out a little more than usual.

"Well I'm not human. I'm Kryptonian." I corrected him. He seemed confused for a moment, but he didn't say anything about it.

"BUT IM EVEN MORE SURPRISED AT YOU RIMURU!!! YOU WENT TO AN AWAKENED DEMON LORD IN AMERE 2 YEARS!!!" He said as his voice shook the cave.

Even though this was just a "projection" it was like he had a physical body.

"I'm just built like that." He said proudly. I could see stars shining around him. Wiping my eyes he was back to normal.

'The fuck?'

"On another note didn't you receive a gift. Take it as my apology for stealing you magiculs." Rimuru said.

"You didn't even know until I said something about it." I muttered. He smiled at me crookedly with "sweat" on his forehead.

"Hmm. Ah yes, my unique skill investigator has evolved into the ultimate skill investigation king Faust." He said happily. He was shining so brightly that it looked like stars were shooting from him.

"So, you planning on leaving him here or what?"

"Nope, we're gonna be bringing him to the surface." Rimuru said proudly.

"What about my body?"

Currently Veldora is using a projection, so right now he's an existence only with a soul and no body. Spiritual life forms such as Elemental Spirits, Demons, True Dragons, Etc. Who originated from the spiritual world usually don't have a physical body of their own.

In order to manifest in the physical world they would have to incarnate themselves into a medium. Otherwise their energy would dissipate and they would eventually vanish.

But even so, they would just revive elsewhere. The only side effect is that their memories would become hazy. Even for Veldora. That's why Ramiris was special since she never lost her memories.

"Didn't he have to have a physical body for you to eat him?" I asked.

"Well that was a body made of magiculs so it vanished into magic when I was absorbed." Veldora answered.

"Hmm, I have a solution, but you have to promise me to reign in your aura. The town has humans in it and weak monsters come by as well." Rimuru said.

"I see. I the great Veldora the storm dragon promos to reign in my massive aura!!" He said in an almighty voice.

"Good." With that Rimuru made a clone appear in front of him.

"Hmm, maybe I should learn a cloning technique." I muttered.

"Eh, wasn't there a clone of you in your house sometimes?" Rimuru asked.

"No, I can't actually clone I just make another me. Like a completely new living being with all my powers and everything. It just does what I tell it to since I put in its head I'm it's master." I explained.

"EHHHHHH!!! THERE WAS TWO OF YOU FREAKS THIS WHOLE TIME!?!" Rimuru yelled.

"Bro…" How could you just flat out call somebody a freak. I feel slightly betrayed.

"WHEN I GET MY BODY WE SHOULD HAVE A FIGHT!! KUAHAHAHAH!!" Veldora yelled.

"Hmm, I'm down." I said agreeing with the dragon.

"How about some other time?" Rimuru said scratching his head.

"Right right. We're doing something important." I said nodding.

"Use this enhanced clone as your medium." Rimuru said as he scooted back.

"GLADLY!!" With that he dove into the body kicking up dust again. In a flash of light we could see a dark figure in the smoke with long hair.

"hahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!" With a loud laughter we looked at the dust cloud. I blew some air and the dust cloud was blown away revealing someone complaining different than what I thought he would look like.

"I thought you would've had blue hair or some shit." I said as I looked at his body.

"I quit like how I look." He said as he held his chin and smiled.

We were about the same height, so around 6'6. Rimuru was still 4'11 so he had to look up at us when he speaks.

"Are you even trying to grow?" I asked. His head slumped down with a sigh.

"Never mind that, Veldora let's get your aura under control." Rimuru said.

"I'VE GOT THE ULTIMATE POWER. ALL THOSE WHO OBJECT WILL BE SLAUGHTERED!!" He announced.

"Objections! I do believe I have more power then thou." I said with a raised eyebrow.

It was like his playfulness brought out my goofy side.

"Oi Focus!!" Rimuru said. With that we began showing him how to restrain his aura to a certain degree.

"Is this enough." He asked.

"Nah, Like, Imagine your body is a drain and your aura is water. Suck it in until I say stop. No homo." I said giving him an example to use.

"…"

"…"

"…come on. We been in here for like a whole day already." I said crossing my arms.

"Still leaking too much." Rimuru said.

"Nope, keep going."

"You're going to poison the humans with that much power leaking out."

"You got this."

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

He sounded like when DB characters are powering up. I guess he was reading manga and shit while in Rimuru.

(Third POV)

While this was going on they didn't stop to consider how much chaos Veldora's presence put the city in. So for three days they sat in the cave trying to get Veldora to master aura Manipulation.

Everyone was worried because Akihito and Rimuru had to give them real demonstration with their own power, so they felt huge pressure on them then it vanished then it appeared again.

On the third day they finally got ready to leave the cave, but once they left they saw the commotion at the entrance.

"I have no doubt that Lord Rimuru and Akihito are safe, but if Veldora has revived we can't move carelessly." Benimaru said to everyone gathered at the cave entrance.

"For now just leave everything to us and-"

Before he could finish they walked out of the cave and Rimuru spoke to everyone.

"Sorry for the wait everyone, but we're back." He said and everyone looked at him in shock.

"I'm relieved you're safe, but there was a sudden sign of the storm dragon and I was wondering what was happening." Albis said.

"Right, allow me to introduce him to everyone. This Veldora, the storm dragon and My very first and best friend. He's a little shy though." Rimuru said as he pushed Veldora in front of him.

"D-DON'T BE STUPID. ITS JUST THERE ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO COULD REACH ME ALIVE!!" He said hurriedly.

Akihito went off to the side to speak with Mia. She had a few questions about why it took three days.

"Well it's mainly because he wouldn't stay focused. He's a goofy guy." He said.

"Now that I think of it can't he train Kayda or you could make them human bodies." Mia suggested.

"I could, but they can probably Shapeshift. If not I can try, but they definitely need actual training." He sighed.

"Then let's do it. Let's just train them. Can't be that hard."

"Sure why not, but later."

With a nod they turned back to the main group just in time to see Souei appear.
