(CHAPTER 13) Neons killer?

While Neon was resting in the medical room, he slowly felt energy from within himself growing in power. "Could this be Open Wound regaining consciousness" Thought Neon as he looked around the room to see if the nurse was gone, which she was. He then cautiously got up sneaking away out the room while not causing any stress on his body. Neon wanted to go to Lucy's office as there could be a lead about what happened to him and Open Wound.

As he sneaked to Lucy's office, trying to be as stealthy as possible as if he was an assassin. He suddenly got a message that was heard throughout his brain saying, " DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE DETECTED, CARRYING ON FURTHER WILL LEAD TO SUDDEN DEATH." As Neon processed the words his subconscious was telling him, he was instantly stunned and shocked in disbelief. He couldnt believe what he was hearing and also had no idea what this meant. "Did someone plant some dangerous substance there or is there something else I'm missing." So many thoughts were spiralling out of control in Neons mind, he had no idea what this message meant. All he knew, was that maybe this had something to do with him passing out.

As Neon was still in the same position, pondering on the matter at hand, he felt the energy in his body slowly decrease and as he was feeling this, he had a feeling that whatever the substance was, its was starting to have an effect on him. So he decided to listen to the voice in his head and walk away from the unusual substance for now until he gathered more information. Starting to walk away from the danger behind, he headed back to the medical room and while he paced there, he started to feel the energy inside him starting increase once again. When he made it back to the medical room, he sighed in relief as the nurse still wasn't back. He went back to lay down upon the bed thinking if someone was after him. "Does someone else know that I'm a demon other than the staff, if so then I need to do something fast. But what DO I do. If I have a chance at solving this problem, I need Open Wound beside me." Said Neon worried about the situation. Suddenly, without warning, a voice was heard again in his mind but this time, it wasn't his subconscious. "Hey kid, we need to talk now...!" When Neon heard this, he jolted feeling surprised, but then joy filled his heart as open Wound was not dead as he was beginning to think. "What the hell happened, why wern't you responding to me." Asked Neon feeling concerned. "We were caught of guard" Open Wound snapped. "If only I was paying more attention to my surroundings, if I was to be a little more reckless, we would have been trapped in the jaws of death and never come out." Neon was confused on what he was saying. "I'm sorry I'm not following. What exactly happened to us that made us nearly die." Said Neon looking for answers. "Someone was trying to kill us." Open Wound said in a serious tone. Neons heart sunk after hearing the words he blurted. "WHAT! Someone's trying to actually kill us! Why?" Shouted Neon not containing his immeasurable fear. He had so much questions that didn't have an answer. "Yes, someone tried to kill us. My guess Is that it's because they know that you are a demon. That's the only rational explanation I can come up with, as for how they tried to kill us. It was with radiation." "What, radiation?" Said Neon. "Yes, as you know, demons could be killed with radiation called sione rays, it only emits from meteorites." "Thats true but we don't have that radiation in this school. Neon then instantly slapped his hands together as he thought of how they could have got the radiation. "I'm pretty sure it's someone who has contact with a person from a different school because I do know some military schools that hold such radiation that could kill of Demons, particularly Iratheons. So they may have gotten hold of the radiation from another school and tried to use it to kill us off. "Said Neon clenching his fists hoping he was right. "Its a pretty good chance that you are right about this Neon. I guess there is only one way to find out. "Wait, but how are we going to find the person who tried to kill us." Said Neon scratching his head. "Actually, I have a few people In mind that could be our target. There were three students that were there when you transformed into a demon and they have a high chance of being our target." Said Open Wound. "You actually think the person who tried to kill us is a student?" Neon asked confused. "Yes I do, if it WAS a member of staff, then they would have done it ages ago as they already knew that you were a demon and could have killed you while I was still laying dormant inside you." Everything started to make sense to Neon but things wern't heading in a direction where he would get a happy ending. He started to feel nauseous and scared to death as one of the students that was there when he transformed was Riyu.....
