What happens when fantasy meets reality? Alex, a college student and regional MMA fighter, witnesses civilization's death as a fantastical apocalypse befalls the Earth. With a lack of electricity and a rapidly changing world, humans find themselves relying on a mysterious RPG-like system to combat the various monsters who have found themselves vying for supremacy with the native humans over this Fractured World.

<p>Alex was struggling for his life at the moment, and he was pinned against the wall by the Ram Beastman's horns. Yet he had not lost the will to fight; as such, he used all the remaining strength in his left arm to chop down at one of the horns which pinned him against the wall. Surprisingly it worked, as the sword cut through the creature's horns and left him pinned by one the side. He repeated the process before dropping to the ground.  </p>

<p>The beastman was in terrible shape as the horns were connected to his skull, and as such, the pain was directly inflicted on his brain. The creature hopped around mindlessly like a while bull. Seein' an opportunity, Alex jumped onto the creature's back and began to suffocate the creature with a rear-naked choke.</p>
