Abby

Alex bolted away, the sweat dripping from his chin as he panted heavily. The thoughts of what would happen to his mother if Abby told someone had been haunting him. He'd been trying to stumble into her all week but finding someone who can read minds and doesn't want to be found is way trickier then Alex originally thought. There was a girl in his class though, her name was Greta, she could teleport anywhere, as long as she had witnessed it before.

He walked through the detectors,

Brushing off some stupid dense remarks from Dereck and his even stupider friends he fast walked down the hall, he wanted to get this task over and done with as soon as possible. Alex's shoulder collided with another's, sending them both down to the floor, he looked up, seeing it was Greta, he quickly gathered his stuff and helped her do likewise. He awkwardly apologised and rushed off, he felt dumb but it ended up alright and that was a pretty harmless way to take her Mana.

Alex dashed into a storage closet. Once he took a tour of the school and got a glimpse of the security camera terminal through a crack in the door, he'd forgotten most of the details about it but he new with Greta's bad vision she had learned to teleport with details being fuzzy. He closed his eyes to focus, imagining and putting together as much as the room together until finally he felt a sensation like static shock.

When he opened his eyes he was standing before the terminal, a multitude of monitors laid before him, all displaying the feeds of cameras from across the school. He knew it was before the security chiefs scheduled camera shift, he always stayed to oversee the scans, only time he isn't there is when your late, like that fateful day Alex discovered his powers. His eyes scanned the camera feeds, until finally he saw her, he couldn't help but let out a quite "Boom", he was finally gonna end this.

He used the Mana again, this time he focused on being close enough to touch her, all he needed was a slight touch. BZZZ. Alex felt the new Mana swell into his body, opening his mind to the new sensations and thoughts of others. His eyes met with Abby's, her mouth contorted into a mix of confusion and surprise. Their Mana met, as Alex tried to pry into her mind she did her best to fight the Mana she had cultivated and fought so hard to form, she was fierce, but he was determined, Abby eventually gave up and he entered the halls of her mind. His subconscious guided his decisions, he fully erased all her memories of the day she found out, making sure to replace the memories with ones of her normal schedule, hopefully she wouldn't notice. Lastly Alex cleaned up the memory of the very event happening, maybe just maybe he could get away with this.

"Oh Alex hey! How're you this morning?", her voice only relayed calmness, he let a sigh of relief leave his body, "I'm all good Abby, you?, he tried to hide the tinge of anxiety in his voice, but Abby's Mana must still be disorientated, "oh I see your wounds haven't fully healed, make sure to pop by and I'll check out how it's healing!!", "thanks Abby, will do!". He gave her a cheerful nod and rushed to class, he'd just cooled down the first crisis of his life, and he felt pretty good about it, classy Alex. So classy he ran into someone on the way to class...
