Alex activated the menu screen, he felt something weird surging through him.
Alex let out a little squeal, he had leveled up, he knew it meant his armour would be stronger but what does Mimic Lvl 2 mean?? According to everything he knew abilities don't level up- Just as he was deep in thought he felt his body collide- for the second time today- with another persons body. It sent them down to the floor, Alex looked up, trying to get a glimpse of the other person, instead he was met with another collision, looks like they were thinking the same thing. The other person started to giggle.
"Hey! I'm Em", Alex looked up, the boy had gotten up and was reaching his hand out to him, he took it and replied, "I-I'm Alex sorry for running into you-", Alex looked at the boy, his eyes were so pretty, finally he snapped back to reality and realized he hadn't let go of Em's hand, he recoiled it quickly and started to walk away. "Don't go- I'm kinda new here and it'd be nice to have a guide!", the boy spoke so sweetly, Alex was entirely entranced, it was like his whole mind melted away, "you're a charmer arent you-", Alex felt so stupid for not realising it sooner, Charmers have an aptitude for tapping into the feelings of the heart, they either enhance lust or love, Alex was very glad Em did love.
"Mmm took you long enough", Em had an irritatingly smug smile on his face "you can turn it off now doofus", the feelings were very distracting, "oh I turned it off when you bulldozed into me, what you're feeling now is just because I'm hot and ethereal" "oh hush", Alex refused to accept that he would fall for someone who seems to be such a stuck up pretentious jerk, "you wish I would fall for someone as far up their rear as-". "Boys I assume you're on your way to class, 'canoodling' in the halls is strictly prohibited", Ms Clark. She had amazing timing, thank the elders she came, Alex didn't know how much more he could take of the insufferable beauty that seems to be Em. "Sorry Miss, Alex here was just telling me about the school", Alex stepped on Em's foot a little, he knew what Em was going for, "well then Alex since you have an interest for Em you can show him to his classes, your schedules line up perfectly!", Alex audibly groaned, "yes Miss".
Em waited until the teacher was out of sight until he pinned Alex up against a nearby locker, "So, how about that tour?", he could feel the heat of Em's breathe against his neck, his fingers in his hair and the arms pinning him against the walls beside him, "yeah whatever, follow me". For the rest of the week Alex kept dragging Em to all their classes, trying to avoid secret kisses and any physical touch, all a Charmer would need is to touch the person even the slightest bit and they'd be able to use their Mana upon them until the victim could shake it off.
