Hunter Exam Part 5!

On the top of a huge tower all the remaining participants arrived to see the new purple haired examiner, Lippo.
"Welcome to the next stage of the exam under my supervision. The tower we are currently stood on is called Trick Tower and all that's needed for you to complete this challenge is to reach the bottom",
Some people had confused faces but others seemed relax as it wasn't like before where had to cook. Someone walked to the edge of the tower and looked down to see the bottom and they decided to scale the tower down and as they started climbing down they were attacked and ripped away from the tower by a massive carnivorous bird, "Ahhhh help me, plea-".
The rest of the examinees had fearful looks at to what happened to that man and some others carried on looking for ways down but as they were searching Sye grabbed Gon, Killua, Leorio and Kurapika and brought them to the trap floor where they fell down.
"Huh, Where are we? Sye where did you bri-",
"Welcome to my test inside of Trick Tower, first you will have to put on those rings",
Kurapika was cut off from the voice echoing in the room where they landed in.
"Sye how did you know about this?,"
"I saw someone else drop down a different trap door", Sye answered while they went and put the rings on.
"Hey guys I think we follow those green arrows", they all followed where Gon was pointed and saw green arrows which were pointing in the same direction. The next phase of this stage they all assumed.
"You have 72 hours to try and reach the bottom of the tower while completing different phases throughout the tower. The first phase is using those rings on your finger you can decide left or right and the one with more votes is the tunnel that opens up",
They all arrived at the first junction,
"Left or right, how should we do this, discuss or just vote and see which has the most votes?", Sye offered two suitable ideas to the group.
"Let's just vote since there's 5 of us so one will always win as it can't be tied", Gon suggested this to which everyone agreed.
After that they all just voted for left or right for every junction they came upto and just followed the path with no complaints.
They finally arrived from the pathway and now to an open room with a deep drop around the outskirts of the room and a stage in the middle.
"Look over there, there are people", Kurapika pointed them out to which the prisoners walked out of the shadows from the other side of the room.
"Let me explain, these people area prisoners of Trick Tower and now also examinees. In this stage one of each will fight against each other in a battle of the prisoners choosing, while the prisoners try to buy as much time possible since each hour they buy they lose 1 year on their prison sentence but if you manage to win 3 of the fights then you will automatically pass to the end.", the voice explained.
"Seems simple enough", Killua remarked.
"I shall go first so please remove my shackles. The names Bendot who will challenge me?",
Before anyone could discuss who to go up Sye spoke up first, "Killua you go ahead, trust me".
"Ok I guess I can. So old man what type of fight do you want",
Killua didn't question Sye since he wanted a fight for a long time, but the others did.
"A fight to the death", Bendot replied while grinning.
"Why did you send Killua up there to fight to the de-",
Before Leorio could finish his sentence Killua said he was done and he stood there holding Bendot's heart in his hand.
"Because he's a trained assassin so I knew this would be easy for him", the others looked at Sye shocked and then back to Killua who just walked back like nothing happened.
The prisoners were frightened about what just happened but didn't let it get to them and the next one stood up for the next challenge,
"I'm Sedokan, who will challenge me",
"I will, what challenge do you want to do".
Gon went upto the stage before anyone could question about who's going next, but no one complained as they knew he wasn't weak either.
"I am not a fighting type so how about you choose between these two candles, a long one or a short one and then you light one and I light mine and the first fire to extinguish loses?",
"Ok that's fine, and for the candle I shall choose will be the longer one since it should go out slower than the shorter one", Kurapika and the others were abit surprised when they heard this as the longest one would extinguish first out of the two.
"Wait something is not right, the candle was laced with something to make it go out faster", Kurapika noticed this and pointed it out but Gon didn't seem worried.
"If that's the case I just have to believe that my fire can stay alight for a couple more seconds",
Gon ran to Sedokan at a speed to fast that he could react and blew out his fire earning him the win.
"Well done Gon and the next challenge is all for me", Sye grinned excitedly.
"Ok I'll-", as Leroute was about to volunteer herself to go up next Sye had different plans.
"Hey Big man in the back how about you come up and challenge me unless your afraid then I guess it would make sense for you to hide in the back cowering", Sye taunted the prisoner at the back to which he released some bloodlust stood up and walked onto the stage removing his hood while speaking,
"My name is Johness kid and we are going to fight to the death right now",
"The names Sye but it's not like you'll remember for too long anyway".
"Wait Sye I know who that is. Johness the mad man, he is a psychopathic killer that loves to dismember people's bodies you should really back down from this fight", Leorio warned Sye of this man's reputation but Sye didn't need to respond as Killua did,
"Sye is the strongest person in this room with me included, you should probably worry about the other guy", Sye smirked at this statement and stood infront of Johness ready to fight.
"You hear that, get ready now because our 3rd win is right here but I'll be nice and let you attack me first", Sye wasn't being nice he just decided to use this as experience for fighting against other humans.
Johness ran towards Sye and crouched down right before him and threw and heavy punch at his stomach but Sye used his fast reflexes and lifted his knee up blocking the punch meanwhile kneeling Johness in the face.
*Crack*
The noise of Johness' nose bone cracking apart echoed in the room, Johness stood back up readying himself but as he looked forward Sye was gone.
*Smash*
Sye launched at punch at Johness' back smashing his spine. He then walked above him and in a swift moment Johness' heart was now in Sye's hand.
Silence filled the atmosphere of the room and the other prisoners were all on the floor sweating with frightened looks on their faces and Leorio was nearly the same as them but he remembered what Killua said and he realised how far behind he was.
"You have won 3 matches you can now follow down that staircase and go straight to the bottom of the Tower. Congratulations for passing", the voice seemed abit shaky aswell from that performance, but the examiner wasn't frightened over the blood just that a 12 year old killed Johness without any trouble even though 3 Hunters were needed to capture him.
As they finally arrived at the bottom and saw some other examinees already there, Sye decided to go sit in a corner and meditate while waiting cause he knew some other people arrive in 70 hours.
'I'm glad that I let Killua go up first and get the first win, unlike in the anime and I'm really happy that Johness took my bait or we would of had to wait from after the Leroute round with Leorio and that's and extra 50 hours of waiting', Sye planned it all out as he didn't want to let Leorio do his stupid deals again and lose all their time so he shortened it by challenging the final guy.
Sye meditated for around 50 hours before the final group of people arrived, earlier than in the anime. After everyone arrived the next destination was announced for the second to final stage, Zevil Island.

A small fighting scene but not the best, I'm just using it to get better at writing them since there will be more in the future and they will be longer aswell.
Also the plot changed abit, what did you think about Sye trying to skip the Leroute part?
