Running Away From The Olsons

"That is unfortunate," Anna muttered.

Three didn't respond. She knew too much for her to be freed.

"If Mr. Burke hadn't been the one who got me an identity… I would have escaped long ago."

"To where he couldn't find you?" Anna inquired.

"Yes. But he can take my identity away with the snap of his fingers. He could ruin everything I worked for all these years and I would have nothing to say to him. Wouldn't everything be a waste then?" Three asked.

"Give it a try," Anna told her. Her lopsided grin stunned Three. "You never know. If you hide, his best hunting dog might not find you." She shrugged.

Three was touched by the words, but they held no value for her. "Thank you for your words, but even the hunting dog won't have a good ending in this case."

Anna laughed. "Well…"

"You will get everything taken from you. You understand, right? So make your choices carefully."
