They Would Meet Again

Anna received a notice from Mr. Burke two days later. She had gotten the time to hang around in the garden outside the house. She had time to watch television for the first time in years without a worry. All in all, she had been lazy and enjoyed it quite a bit.

[Meeting at my summer residence tomorrow morning. 6 AM.]

Anna sighed as she typed out the response.

[Noted.]

She sent it out and shoved the phone inside her pocket. She understood Burke's intention. He knew she had not gone to the base and had stayed with Ladislas. It was easy for him to find out. Therefore, he would rather make a journey to his summer townhouse which was a few cities over and closer to the base than meet at his residence in the city.

He was trying his best to put everything back to place. To force her to follow his order to the last stroke.

She would need to buy plane tickets and go through all the standard procedures to get in.
