The Day to Unexpectedly Meet Our Parents

He dropped the packets of food unceremoniously much to the older woman's chagrin.

"What's your name?" he growled.

"You can't come in here!" she remarked, running to him to push him out. But no matter how hard she pushed, Ladislas didn't budge. 

"What is your name?" he asked again. This time, his voice was demonic. 

She shuddered and her eyes glazed over. "Elly," she whispered.

"And your husband? What is his name?" he asked.

"William," she gasped. Finally, she snapped out of her trance.

"Well, Elly… I will remember your name. No matter what, you should never abandon your child. What? A family trip?" he scoffed. "I will ensure you never get a good night's sleep," he promised.

She gasped and recoiled. "What—what are you talking about?"
