King Edric was standing alone near the window in his working chamber when Nicklaus Elan came to him. Turning around to face the Commander, the young King let out a breath. "It's you, Nicklaus. Though I was expecting you, I don't know that you will come this soon," he said to the Commander in a calm yet obviously tired voice.

Walking closer to the King without saying anything, Nicklaus Elan halted and dropped to his knees. There was no reaction from the King but his gaze never left the Commander.
