DEFYING THE STARS: Falling For An Enemy

Princess Yara and the guards who escorted her almost reached the palace of Avaria by now. As the Princess always appeared to have her mind on somewhere else, Andrus was quite worried and he shifted his gaze to her from time to time. However, he can't ask her anything as he knew what was bothering her.

A few more minutes passed and they were about to pass the palace gate. Though the Princess offered for the guards of Aslirith to rest in the palace, the guards claimed that it was their Crown Prince's order to return right away. As such, they bowed and took the same road that would take them almost two more weeks of journey to reach Aslirith.

Once the Aslirith guards left, Princess Yara passed the palace gate with her guards and without even stopping once, she walked inside the palace and then to her chamber.
