The Tower of the Ancients is different from the Tower of Tribulations, and as far as Kyran is concerned, the latter cannot be retrieved. It is not because the Tower of Tribulations is far more dangerous than the Tower of the Ancients. Rather, it is the opposite.

The Tower of Tribulations was created after The Fall and catered more to the Lower Realm dwellers, while the Tower of the Ancients was created as the Ancient's training grounds.

Kyran learned from Kairos that all Towers except for the Tower of Tribulations were created by the Four Greatest Minds. To give a proper title to them, they were the Creators.
