CHAPTER 16: MOVIE PREMIERE

The day of the movie premiere arrived, and Arianna was so excited that she woke early, which surprised the nanny, but seeing her young mistress in such a good mood made her happy as well.

Arianna ate breakfast alone because her parents were at work. Her elder siblings have their own families, so the mansion was only her and her parents unless her siblings came to visit.

They were all determined to get Arianna healthy again, so breakfast was hearty but nutritious. Arianna decided to do something productive with all of her free time. She came to exact vengeance on those who had mistreated the previous Arianna, but she also needed to protect her family, and power was one way to do so.

Given the fact that her ancestors were descendants of a defeated dynasty, her family was in a difficult situation. The fact that they have royal, noble, and sacred blood coursing through their veins can be seen as a threat, as they are heirs to the throne if they so wish.

Arianna had no idea if her family might wish to steal the kingdom in the future, but she did know that in times like this, one needed power and resources to be secure. So Arianna had been thinking about how to deal with this problem for a long time and had only come up with one solution: do something about it.

Arianna summoned her newly recruited assistant to her house while she considered how to gather this power, as Leah had to be by her side the most of the time.

The two sat face to face in Arianna's study, and Arianna questioned Leah further since she wanted to learn more about her because the interview was only a few minutes long and she couldn't ask any more questions.

Leah earned an honors degree in business management and finance, and she had no other ties than her family, which made things much easier.

"I want you to move in and stay close to me because I have some things I need you to do for me because I am unable to do it myself," Arianna suggested, looking at the older girl.

"I can move in at any time, and I promise you that I will never fail you or do you injustice," Leah exclaimed, making Arianna smile.

"Later, my cousin will come to pick me up for a movie; you are not required to accompany me. What I need you to do is look into the market for me. Look into some cafés for me and the most popular snacks right now. I need that information right away," Arianna said as she sipped her orange juice.

Leah took careful notes because she didn't want to forget anything and ruin everything. "I will get right on it. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"Nothing, just tell nanny Juliet when and where you'll be moving in."

"I will inform her."

Arianna dismissed Leah after they talked for a while, with Leah doing the dirty work for her because all she had now was time. Arianna, who was not a businesswoman, wanted to test the waters first. She had to start somewhere, and since Leah was her best bet, she decided to let her full potential shine.

A café was mainly a place where the young people went on dates or just for a quick bite. Arianna had a plan in her head that she was confident would work as long as she could get it started.

What she needed was time, and because she had some money on her because of this wonderful family spoiling her and depositing money in her account, she didn't have to worry about starting capital at all.

Arianna decided to get busy and complete her daily missions while she waited for Amy to arrive. She was forced to take cooking lessons as a candidate for becoming a virtuous wife.

Arianna vanished completely into the system's space, where she started taking cooking lessons. It was the most exhausting mission she'd ever done, especially with all the constant radishes chopping that made her hands tremble and numb.

Arianna only came to a halt when she heard her nanny calling; she was delighted and pleased to hear her nanny's voice, and to make things even sweeter, she also discovered that she had finished chopping one thousand radishes for the mission.

She was so thrilled as she looked at the 100p in her interface that she didn't mind if someone irritated her. She looked down at her swollen hands and knew she was in big trouble if her nanny saw them.

Arianna bought some medicine from a system store and quickly swallowed the pill with some water in her study.

Arianna quickly tidied up and changed into something warm, black jeans, a yellow t-shirt, and a black jacket on top. Arianna unlocked the door and gave her nanny a gentle smile.

"Is she here?" Arianna inquired as she took a look around.

"Her driver just dropped her off a few minutes ago," Nanny replied.

"All right, then, I'll go meet her. I'll be back later, so please leave me some snacks," Arianna patted her nanny's shoulders as she walked towards the elevator.

She had taken a break from using the wheelchair for approximately a day after expressing her frustrations to her mother. She didn't want to be treated like a cripple when she could walk on her own. Arianna was overjoyed when her mother agreed after many compromises and promises.

Arianna walked energetically towards the guest lounge where Amy was waiting for her, and the younger girl was also frowning; this action improved Arianna's mood because every second Amy suffers, Arianna is happy.

"I'm sorry I'm late; I hope you didn't have to wait long," Arianna politely apologized as she smiled at Amy, who was wearing her signature smile and appeared as harmless as always.

"I just got here; we still have time to eat some pizza before the movie," Amy said cheerfully as she stood next to Arianna.

"What a brilliant idea! Let's go right now," the two young ladies said as they drove away from the estate in a black sedan, their destination being the famous RiverWalk mall, where they were going to see a movie.
