CHAPTER 17: DRAMA

The two youngsters chatted merrily the entire time, which was made much more enjoyable by Amy's refusal to bring up the subject of Lucas. Amy knew that the more she brought up the subject, the more suspicious she became, so she just let it go.

When they arrived at the mall, the two girls exited the car, and the driver drove away. Arianna didn't feel threatened because she was aware that she had guards following her that Amy was unaware of.

Paulo began training guards before assuming the mantle of Duke in order to fully protect his family. Arianna had no idea that guards were always following her wherever she went, and this could have remained a secret if the new Arianna hadn't sniffed them out with the help of the system.

Outside, she had no trouble moving around because she knew that some individuals had promised to protect her and would go to any length to keep her safe. If Amy is up to something nefarious, those people will emerge and deal with whatever is going on.

Arianna had faith in herself that she would take care of those minor tricks and plans and make Amy cry blood tears. The two didn't waste time and went straight to the pizza parlor, where Arianna ordered a BBQ large pizza for herself. It's been too long since she ate ne; back when she was still Irene, she used to eat it frequently despite knowing that eating too much fast food would cause her problems, but she didn't care because she was on the point of death.

Arianna promised herself that now that she had a body that couldn't get fat no matter how much she ate, she would eat ice cream whenever she wanted and nothing would stop her.

"I have to tell you right now that this is all mine, so order yours," Arianna remarked shamelessly as she grinned at Amy, who nearly rolled her eyes at her.

Amy was forced to order a small pizza for herself because Arianna had already stated that she had an image to uphold. Arianna didn't care because her image had already been tarnished by her suicide attempt.

Even if some of the news was restricted, the rumor had already travelled far and wide, making her famous wherever she went. She could hear people talking about her and pointing fingers at her, but she blocked everything out and pretended she wasn't hearing anything.

Amy could only smile inwardly as she heard these people berating Arianna. So what if she tries to act all haughty? In the end, people were the best judges.

Arianna sat comfortably on a chair, sipping her juice and smiling as she waited for her pizza to be served. Those in the store couldn't help but give her a few glances.

It wasn't every day that these commoners were graced with such a noble. It gave these people a sense of accomplishment to see a noble young lady sitting comfortably in a public store without guards.

No one knew why Arianna and Amy were at the mall without guards, but it didn't matter because they were too busy taking photos. Arianna ignored them all as she went about her business, and Amy didn't throw a fit because she had an image to uphold.

The pizza arrived ten minutes later, and Arianna dug in as if no one was watching. Amy was taken aback when she saw this side of Arianna; the Arianna she knew was someone who valued her face and despised foods like these.

When she mentioned having pizza, she was simply testing Arianna, hoping that Arianna would make that face, thereby attracting the rage of these commoners. So seeing her in this state made her irritated because her first plan had just been foiled.

Arianna didn't care about Amy as she ate her pizza like a starved squirrel, her cheeks so full that the mothers in the store thought she looked cute.

Arianna became an instant celebrity after a slew of people snapped photos and videos of her. She patted her tummy with satisfaction when she finished feeding before looking at Amy, who had only eaten half of her meal. Arianna scowled at her and devoured the remaining pieces as if it were nothing out of the ordinary.

Amy almost had a heart attack, and those watching couldn't help but notice Arianna's cuteness. When she had finished all of the pizza, she dragged Amy out of the store while singing praises to Amy, who could only nod her head and accept all of the praises with a smile on her face.

Arianna was overjoyed to see Amy's discomfort, but who told Amy to mess with her like that? Amy felt relieved when she and Arianna were seated in the movie theater, holding two buckets of popcorn and cola.

Arianna was very interested in this film; she had done her own research and discovered some interesting facts, such as how famous the lead actress was and how good she was.

Arianna was intrigued by this actress and decided to watch her first film because she had never seen any of her previous work. This film was one of a kind because it was a fantasy.

Arianna followed the movie with great interest; the story revolved around the female lead who was raised in a poor village by some peasants who loved her, and this happiness was shattered the day some bandits slaughtered everyone in the village, leaving her an orphan.

She joined a sect to exact revenge because her spiritual roots were powerful. She worked hard to become stronger, and in the process, she met a villain who tried to make things difficult for her, and in the process, the villain fell in love with the female lead, but the female lead refused because she didn't have room for anyone else. All she could think about was vengeance, and dating wasn't even on her radar.

On her quest for vengeance, she met the male protagonist, who touched her heart and healed her. He assisted her in exacting her revenge, but in the process, they overlooked the villain who had helped her greatly in the dark.

The two leads collaborated to trap and kill the villain, and under the guise of agreeing to be with him, the villain got what he deserved.

No matter what he did or how hard he tried, the villain was unable to obtain the woman he desired. He met the female lead once while imprisoned in that dark cell, and what he was told caused the man to commit suicide and end his life.
