I guess I'll do what I want for the next few millennia or so

Finishing her burger, which tasted great by the way. Mizuki laid down on her bed.

"My research is nearing completion. At most I just need to get a better grasp of my elements."

"Shiro said to get as strong as fast as possible because the gods want to finish some war or whatever but what does that have to do with me? Plus, it might just take a few millennia for the 'war' to start, we are talking about immortal gods after all."

Thinking about it for another minute or so, Mizuki came to a conclusion.

"..."

"If we take the gods as immortal beings their sence of time should be much different than normal. For them a few thousand years might go by in the blink of an eye. If we take this for fact I might not even be alive by the time the war starts."

"This is ofcourse only a hypothesis so I might be wrong and the war thing could start as early as next week."

"But even if it is next week or the week after that, this is still my life. My new life, so I should be able to do what I want. Hmm~"

"My musical talent might have gotten rusty. Maybe I'll brush up on that while traveling around a little? Besides that I have always wanted to explore the sea and maybe be a store owner? Don't really remember what I wanted to do as a kid. My memory skill only helps me remember specific scenarios from when I gained the skill so all my memories from when I was a child are not exactly the clearest."

"I wish I still had my dads impeccable memory that didn't use a skill." said Mizuki with a sigh.

"Well no use crying over spilled milk or overcooked bacon. I might just brush up on my violin skills."

"Who knows. Might just get the title [Musician] or something haha."

Creating a violin in her hands, Mizuki stood up and entered her research lab.

"Before I go. Should make a new set of clothes. A musician with a labcoat is pretty suspicious."

Using mana condensation she made a large backpack and placed her lab clothes in it along with a violin and some papers that she has yet to complete.

"Now what style should I go with?"

After thinking about it for a minute along with testing out a few combinations, she had decided.

...

Mizuki was standing at the exit of the dungeon with a large backpack on her back. Wearing a pair of black and silver headphones that she had programmed to play some different songs from a multitude of sources ranging from Mr. Hoven to DD:ER. She was currently listening to Mr. Hovens song 'Virus' as she was walking around the wasteland surrounding the dungeon.

Mizuki was wearing something resembling a short, white, no sleeved, shirt-like kitchen apron with silver floral patterns on the edges that only covered her front and was attatched to a white cape through a black collar if the cape were to flutter in the wind the only thing that could be seen would be her back and her black bra strap. She had a pair of very short and slightly ripped black jeans that were attatched to the ends of the apron like shirt that only covered her front through black string. Along with two black ankle bracelets and black shoes.

"Would be a little revealing if I had not worn a cape but I have to say that I look pretty good."

Mizuki said as she did a light twirl.

"Now if I grow up some more I bet I'll look dashing." she smiled.

She thought back to her departure and mused to herself.

"That wyvern better protect my room. It took like 80% of my mana to make the elemental affinity core for him so he better not waste it."

Unknown to Mizuki but an army was currently heading in the direction of her old home, the dungeon.

The army of the kingdom would soon fail the dungeon raid and their reputation would plummet along with the heros and the entire kingdoms, creating a small domino effect that will bring the kingdom to the brink of collapse in a few years.

Not that it was Mizukis problem, she had stuff and things to do after all. Besides, she could just go to a different country.

"Which way is the nearest town anyway? I don't really have a map or anything.."

"Bahh. I'm sure I'll stuble upon one eventually."

Misuki kept walking towards the east. At least that's where she thought she was going. In actuality she was heading west. It was nighttime so she had just picked a random direction and decided that she was going east for some reason.

Everyone has bad days every once in a while.

...

"Young hero. Are you sure it is necessary to bring part of the royal army to a mere level 51 dungeon? I dare not question your motives but it seems a little over the top does it not?"

"The dungeon is a bit special. The monsters inside seem golem- or rather robot-like so every one of them can tank multiple heavy hits. Along with the fact that there might be someone capable of creating spells inside of a secret passage on the fourth floor, I believe this amount of forces to be rather lack luster if I do say so myself."

"The king did state that there was a possibility of there being a person capable of what you say but the princess herself told the king that the one who might be capable of such is but a mere child."

"Maya might say that but the 'child' is a sheepkin. You should know how uncommon their race is."

"Indeed. When shall we arrive?"

"We should be there in a few days. The surroundings of the dungeon are a three layer wasteland of fire, thunder and rainstorms so we should tread with care."

"Understood. I shall inform the scouting squadron."

...

"Haah~"

'I've been walking for less than half an hour and a group that seems to be something similar to assassins is already following me.'

'There really is not much that is special about me. Really now. How bad can my luck be?'

"Come out already. I know you're there." Mizuki said with boredom evident in her voice as she took off her headphones.

A man wearing light blue leather armor jumped down from the tree, he seemed to be something like a scout.

"What do you want? If it's nothing then stop following me like the rest of your 6 man group."

Before the man could even say anything Mizuki had already surmised the amount of people still in hiding.

'How did she know? Are her senses that sharp or did she use detection magic of some kind?'

"I do apologize for the actions of my team. We were keeping an eye on you because you seemed to resemble someone that the hero is searching for."

"You got the wrong gal. Goodbye."

Mizuki turned to leave as the man narrowed his eyes and made a small throwing motion.

Before he even realized what happened, his arm was broken in half as Mizuki was standing infront of him while rearranging a magic circle.

"Throwing a tracking device at someone you just met is considered rude. I'll let you get off with a single broken bone. Bye~."

She turned around and started to walk away again. As she turned she felt someone running towards her with a blunt weapon most likely meant to knock her out.

"You really should not try it again if the strongest among you is defeated in less than a second." said Mizuki with a sigh.

Flickering for a moment all that was heard was a short yell as another hand was broken, along with a leg and a few ribs.

"Don't try to follow me again if you value your lives, last chance."

Mizuki turned around once more and started walking. The rest of the people went towards the main army to get supplies to treat the wounded.

'When did I get this ruthless? Probably due to my demon class or rather bloodline or something. Eh. I feel fine so I'll ignore it for now. I'll do something about it if I ever start going on genocide missions.'

"Get the best healer from the army here stat! It's lucky for team captain to still be alive!"

As screams of panic were heard behind her Mizuki was too busy listening to the music of her headphones that she had placed back over her head.

As a familiar New Zealand sea shanty about a cargo ship started playing, Mizuki wondered to herself.

'Maybe I'll become an overseas merchant or pirate next? Eeh.. screw it. Why not both?'
