Although the ten heads of the village were called elder, they weren't that old perhaps in their mid 40s.
It had already been ten minutes since Rein went inside the hut, the elders were becoming suspicious of the current scenario.
"I am going in", said Heath in a serious tone.
Just when he was about to rush inside,
wussshh.... opened the sliding door and Rein stepped out with same stoic expression he had since his first encounter with the villagers.
"You can see her now", said rein looking at two kids. On hearing this the two boys ran inside the hut crying.
Heath giving Rein a confused looks followed the kids inside the hut, and so did the others.
[Inside of the hut]
The hut had four rooms, the biggest one in which the woman was lying was the bedroom. It had not more than two lamps that provided light but that too were dim to the extent were half of the abode was filled with darkness. But in the center of the room lied the bed where the woman who was considered to be on her death bed, sat upright holding her precious burdens.
The two kids were crying hugging their mother and the mother was doing the same. To everyone's surprise the woman looked completely healthy, the pale color of her was gone, she was glimmering with life. Looking at her bought tears in Heath's eye for she was none other than Heath's sister.
Haldem, one of the elders who excelled in medicine and general human physiology, who formerly had declared Keath (Heath's sister) deprived of life force.
[Life Force is Haldem's ability which enables him to see the amount of life left in a living organism. He sees it as bright white color flowing through a person's veins originating from one's heart. He can also see damaged organs or diseases developing inside a person's body with varying colors i.e. increasing fatality going down the colors of a rainbow VIBGYOR [ V->violet, I->Indigo, B->Blue, G->Geen, Y->yellow, O->orange, R->Red]. White denotes optimal state while red denote the end of a human life.]
Earlier the woman who was filled with dark red color in her veins was now infused with shinning bright white light.
Everyone was flabbergasted at the odd happening, Heath who was the most grateful walked up to Rein who was sitting outside the hut on a somewhat boulder.
"Thankyou", said Heath in a sobbing voice. " I don't know if I can every repay you."
Rein: Sighs, just keep your side of the bargain and we're good.
"We will, we will", replied Heath.
Soon the news spread that a stranger who has the ability to bring back the dead, has stumbled upon the village.
The elders excluding Heath (who was busy sobbing) realized this as an opportunity to gain a healer for their village.
Adil felt that his decision to let the stranger in after all might have been the right choice.
It was time to celebrate but the fading sunlight had other plans.
