Snatching another peek, I saw that they still roamed through the tree line, weaving around in a figure eight. I settled on watching them. If I was seeing things, I convinced myself I could just see what they were going to do. They often blended into the scenery, and I thought I lost sight of them a few times. Part of me hoped they would fade away as they usually did, but they remained. Suddenly he looked my way, and the horse did the same. I felt increasingly uncomfortable as the seconds passed until I unexpectedly became filled with a kind of hysterical rush. Then I went against all common sense. Quickly putting my glass down, I sprang up from my cozy tree swing and started to run after them.
