It was the middle of the night, When Amila woke up from her sleep feeling tightness in her chest and difficulty to breathe, She sat up on the bed placing her hand on her chest gasping for air, It's been over ten days she hadn't felt these feelings, For Sometime she believed that she has been held from her sickness, But what was happening now provide that she is not.

Amila suddenly started coughing violently, The sound of her coughing in her parent's room, waking them up.

Amila started to panic when she saw the blood that was covering her hand, Tears formed in her eyes, Afraid of dying.

"Amila." It was her father's voice who had entered the room and sat on the edge of the bed pulling her towards him, rubbing her back gently.

"Her fever is high, We need to bring a doctor." Her mother said.

"I will go and bring a doctor, Stay with her." Amila's father said and rushed out of the room.

He doesn't want to lose Amila just like he lost her two older siblings.

"Don't worry, My dear, Everything will be alright, Try to take a deep breath." Her mother instructed her as she wiped her hand that was covered in her blood and helped her to lay down.

Twenty minutes later, Her father came back with the doctor. He led the doctor to Amila's room and the doctor immediately started to examine her with both of her parents' presence.

"I will give her something that will make her feel better soon." The doctor said as he closed his bag and stood up.

Benjamin escorted the doctor outside the room, leaving his wife to take care of Amila.

Violet covered Amila with the blanket who had fallen asleep due to the medicine effect. Before she followed her husband, Sat beside her daughter, Staring at her as she slept.

Outside the room, Benjamin locked the door to their house after the doctor left. His face held a grief expression after hearing what the doctor said.

His Amila was dying and it's only a matter of time before they buried her. Just like her sisters, Benjamin sat down on the couch and wiped the tears in his eyes.

Violet came out of Amila's room and found her husband sitting on the couch of their living room. She walked towards him, taking a seat next to him. She had overheard what the doctor said, But there is nothing that they can do. There is no cure for what their daughter is suffering from.

The best thing that they do right now, Is make her live her remaining days happy and try to grant her whatever she wishes for.
