Chapter 2: I wonder if it's okay to leave

as wooyoung was walking home, it had started raining. the rain only poured harder, but the boy didn't care, in fact, he actually quite liked the rain. it calmed him down for some odd reason. he decided to take a detour. it took longer, yes, but he didn't mind. he wanted to enjoy the rain to the fullest by visiting a nearby park.

sitting on a pretty wet bench, he looked at the dark sky that was filled with clouds. he closed his eyes and exhaled, inhaling the scent of freshly cut grass right after. he was pretty relaxed at the moment, not caring about his possibly worrying mother at home at all. he wanted to enjoy the weather as much as he could.

he thought about his mother at home. she was probably panicking because wooyoung hadn't come home yet as he usually did. his father wouldn't even care as he would probably be in a bar and getting drunk for the seventh time this week, and it was tuesday.

his ex-friends would be having fun at their house, talking shit about wooyoung and laughing about ending their friendship like it was nothing. they've probably told the whole school what a baby wooyoung was. but they weren't really wrong. he was a crybaby. he has always been a more little sensitive than others, and because of that he always got bullied when he was younger.

thunder could be heard, which startled wooyoung a little, we wasn't scared of rain, but thunder made him pretty scared, he hated it. before he could even blink, a bolt of lightning struck next to him. he gasped and fell of the bench he was sitting on. warm tears were already falling on his cheeks and small sobs could be heard if listened closely.
