CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

*VICTOR*

After we decided to keep the hunters busy, we started making plans towards it. I still don't know how we'll bring the girls into our pack, I mean Daisy and Esther, being that Esther is Tyler's mate. Shade and I already guessed that, and he confirmed it. After school, we are planning to go back to Canada but I don't know if they'll want to go that far away from home. Nigeria is not the kind of place for feral wolves like ours to stay, there are no wolves here and forming a pack here will be quite difficult.

It took us a lot of time to find a suitable place for a werewolves' war to break out. There are no forest deep enough to contain such fight, we had to go to another town closer to our current one. After finding one, we laid down lots of traps and dug out caves big enough to hide in. We made sure to dig as many as possible since we are going on a RAMBO mission. All that's left was to lure the hunters there. I know they are not as stupid as to believe they'll easily fall for such scheme but since they can't hurt humans especially in a country like this. The council might be corrupt, but there is a very strong law against any attack on humans which not even the hunters can break for the sake of one Blood Wolf. Therefore, they'll have no choice but to play along with my game.

I know the hunters would have known I have the thread by now, so I told Bimpe to give me the Thread to bury in one of the caves. I have a feeling they have a way of tracking it, the way we've been getting attacked these days are suspicious and since they have a witch, anything is possible. We buried the Thread and just as I suspected, the Thread begins to shimmer once it leaves its owner's body. Touching it was a bit difficult, it hurts a lot, not even Shade or Tyler could directly touch it, and we had to pick it up with something. Thank goddess I got to know her before the hunters got to her, I would have been in a difficult situation now.

From my investigation, I realised that Devon is out of the country. The executioner is planning something big, I know. But not even Devon could make a decision without informing the council members. Since the Thread and Wolf they want are in the same place, he had to make a progress report on it. This gives me the advantage to carry out my mission successfully, but not fully, since the wolf in charge now is a dangerous wolf also. Stephanie might not be an executional but she has a feral wolf, even she herself has a temper, we've had a run out with her once and I almost lost my life if not for my super healing ability.

I contacted Kevin to know what he's doing now and if he's interested in coming over, I briefed him on the situation with the hunter but left out the part about my mate. I cannot guarantee Kevin's loyalty but as his Alpha, I should tell him that much. He agreed to come over since he had nothing to do at the moment. I know what Kevin want is someone to help him with his revenge, I saw the look in his eyes when I told him I have no interest in such things. But I assured him he will have his moment.

It took us one week to finish the trap and as soon as we were done, we invaded their house. We already have guns, knives and arrows waiting for us at the cave. We got our weapons from hunters we have fought in the past and the arrows was made by my father. He was the one that trained me to fight, he made sure I can properly fight in my human form since I can't always have a chance to fight in my wolf form. He trained the three of us with guns and arrows, we went through the same training as a military man does. Since my father was a beta, he knows a lot about fighting and killing a wolf. Everything he knows has been passed down to us over the years. Shade was the one who invaded their mansion, his speed make him the best person for it. His job was to lure them out of their lair, which he did perfectly well.

Shade's wolf 'Weapon', is not as big as Tyler's but he is much faster than his, while Blacky, Tyler's wolf is bigger and stronger, did I mention he is arrogant also. Kevin is an Alpha wolf, therefore, he is stronger and faster than both of them. Luca being a Blood Wolf gave him the strength and speed of both sides, he also have a super regenerating ability and a super hearing. All these alone makes us more than an army of four men. While Shade lure them out, he'll bring them to us while Tyler will search the place for anything we could find about them. I wasn't delusional enough to think we can take them out at once, I just have to disrupt their operation enough to disorganize them. Kevin and I are enough to fight them here, I already gave Luca control since I'm not planning to show them mercy.

Kevin's hatred towards the hunters is great, he was a product of their unjust killing. His mother lost his life in the hand of a hunter before which drove their father to insanity and made Kevin the target of that insanity. Those are part of what fuel his anger towards the council and his pack members. He had to kill his own father in order to protect himself from the constant physical abuse he got from him. Kevin would have been a perfect wolf to have in the pack, and it's one of the reason I let him into the pack. I hope he finds his mate soon, so his hatred can be quenched. Then, maybe, he'll have something that's worth keeping for him.

It took Shade approximately three hours to bring them here, I know it took them that long since he doesn't want them to realise he was purposefully baiting them. But the hunters aren't stupid either, they must have followed him since they can't wait to get rid of me. They are confident in themselves. They got into the forest in their human forms, some of them who are humans are also among. Shade speed up to shake them off his back while I release my aura to bring them closer. In this big of a forest, they can't know the particular place it's coming from so they'll have to split up, which is exactly what I'm aiming for.

Tyler mindlinked me to give the report on the mansion he invaded. Just as I thought, they didn't leave that place empty, there are hunter guarding the place. I let him know he can let his wolf fully out and fight with everything he's got. He has been trapped enough. There are some wolves who just enjoy the trill of hunting, going feral and killing, be it hunting to eat or their enemy, they just need the trill. Everyone in my pack is like that, including me, which was why I called it 'Feral Moon Pack'. It took a lot of argument from Shade and I before we agreed on the name but we finally decided on it. Shade still think we should use something like 'Demons Pack' or 'Blood Wolf Pack' but I'll be damned before I use something like that.

Kevin's wolf, Ash, stood proud and big on top of a hill few metres from me, I have to admit his beautiful grey colour shine beautifully with the sunset. He would have been my beta if he hadn't come much later, Shade will have my head if he heard my thought right now. Nobody compete with him for that position. I don't know what Luca is planning concerning the Pack but I can tell it's not something simple since he wasn't even in a hurry to add members to it. Well, neither am I

As soon as the hunters enter the forest, they started activating the traps. Some of the got trapped in animal catcher while some got hit in the face by the big trees we had set up. Some got pierced in the body by sharped braches and knives. In the end, only about twenty of them were able to make it to our side. Kevin was the one who attacked first, he fought off the hunters wonderfully. You can tell he had a lot of experience in fighting, it shows from how skillfully he handled them, I almost felt jealous.

"When are you planning to join the fight exactly?" I asked Luca as he just stood in one corner and observe Kevin and Shade fight.

"The fun is yet to begin, there are more of them coming. We should let that boy have his fun." He answered
