The northern walls of the Lemorio Capital were now on full defense. The archers were ready on the ramparts. The Vallion Knights while fully clad with iron armor were found on stand-by just behind the wall.
They were told to prepare since the goblin horde would begin to attack any moment now.
Even though it was about to war, the Knights didn't feel any urgency. They were told by the church that the goblins would be taken care of easily.
Especially General Chagrin, he couldn't wait the day until he could fulfill his revenge against the Trimperial.
Then one scout was returning. He scouted the northern area of the wild valley to check for the incoming goblin army. He was currently riding a horse. He then yelled. "They're here!"
Chagrin's eyes were filled with madness, he then grinned. "It's finally here!"

Melvin and the others were now heading to the church. They were riding their horse drawn carriage. "The plan is once we reach the church we should stop the Controllion and instead use the Reveallion."
Hervil gave a nod. "We need to hurry, if they use the Controllion before they use the Reveallion, then it's over."
Since the carriage was full, Sting sat atop the carriage, he was observing the northern area and he could feel some chills. "I have a bad feeling about this."
Teisha who was beside him suddenly gasped. She then yelled. "Lord Sting, above!"
Sting gazed up and a violet dragon was roaming the skies. It roared letting them know its terrifying presence. It then began to dive and opened its mouth.
The dragon rider cackled. "So there you are you rats, I've been looking for you." It then u-turned and tailed them.
Sting took a deep breath, he readied his sniper and aimed at the dragon. Though it looked like it was protected with a thick scales.
The dragon's mouth was wide open, an orange blast was about to get released from its maw.
Sting fired and it struck the dragon's shoulder area. After a thunderous gunshot, a sound of a glass cracking was heard on the dragons body.
The dragon's flight became unsteady, it shot out a fire ball the diameter of a human and it instead struck the house besides them. It was now swallowed in flames.
Teisha was surprised to see that a large flame ball almost hit them.
Melvin and the others peeked outside to take a look. He then chuckled seeing the dragon hovering on mid-air. "Well, I never thought I would see a dragon up close." He then yelled at the roof. "Sting can you do it?"
"Yeah, I think I can. I just need another shot." Sting's eyes narrowed as he glared at the dragon.
The dragon rider was pissed. He wasn't sure what the person on the roof of the carriage did, but it seemed to have disturbed his dragon. He couldn't fly well like he used to. "What did you do?! You pathetic Sillian race!"
For the dragon rider, his dragon was his second self. Someone coming from the draconian race treated their dragons like they were part of their family. Besides, his dragon was a Class C dragon. Its scales were impenetrable from any arrows or swords.
The dragon rider was now more riled up. "Curse you! I will make sure you will be nothing more than a burnt corpse!"
The dragon picked up the pace and accelerated towards them. Its mouth was wide open.
Sting took a deep breath another time. He placed his eyes on the scope.

"Sting my son, why do you like hunting so much?" Said a grown up man who was holding a hunting rifle. They were found inside a cabin in the middle of the woods.
The 10 year old Sting pondered upon it. "Shooting without being seen just gives me pleasure."
"That maybe the case, but what are you going to do if the reverse happens."
"Reverse?"
"That's the dangerous part of our hunting session. We are hunters but it can go the opposite and we could be hunted. For example the bear you shot didn't die and is now trying to kill you."
Sting was suddenly nervous. "Eh? I don't know what to do if that happens."
The man then firmed an expression. "I thought that was the case, but the secret is to stay calm."
"Calm?"
"Take a deep breath and snipe. Even though your prey now becomes the hunter, make sure you don't lose your position as a hunter as well."

Sting then lifted a smile. "Roger, father." He understood that this shot was vital for everyone in this carriage. It would only take one fire ball from the dragon to kill him, the President and the others.
He then directed his aim at the arm of its broad bat wings. Since he wouldn't be able to damage the dragon well on its body, he'd like to give it a shot.
Teisha was panicking. "Lord Sting, the dragon is closing in."
"I know." Sting was slightly worried since the wings were flapping. It was hard to pinpoint the target.
Bang!
With a fire, he missed the arm of the wing and holed its membrane instead. Its flight became unsteady and it then shot out a flames that missed the carriage.
It struck a random warehouse on the street and it was now wallowing in flames.
Sting sneered. He aimed his scope again.
When Teisha saw him unrelaxed, she was worried. She then hugged him which caused Sting to feel at ease. "Lord Sting, it's okay you can still do it."
Sting then harrumphed. "This is kinda harder than I thought." With the carriage rocking, he couldn't aim his sniper well.
Teisha held firm smile. She then held Sting's sniper so it could be fixed on one place.
The dragon rider was shouting above them. "End these mongrels!" He spoke to his dragon. The dragon released a shattering roar that was painful to their ears. It was now about to release its attack that would bring them their end.
Sting aimed another time. He then a predicted where the wing arm would go. Taking into account its speed of the flap and the air resistance, with a blink he pulled the trigger.
It struck the left wing arm of the dragon. The dragon rider was left confused. "Huh?! What's going on?!"
The dragon shrieked from pain. It wouldn't be able to flap its left-wing and only its right wing was functioning. The dragon lost its flight balance, it struck a roof of a house and fell from hundreds of feet and smacked upon the street.
The dragon rider yelled as he fell and slammed hard on the ground, taking his life in the process.
Sting's eyes widened as he sat down. He stifled a chuckle until he laughed aloud. "I can't believe I took care of him."
Teisha then was glad. "Lord Sting, I know you can do it!"
"Yeah."
Inside the carriage, Melvin laughed. "Alright, I'll be giving you a promotion for a job well done."
As for the others, they sighed in relief. Hervil was even sweating, he could not believe they were chased by a dragon. "You have strong soldiers Lord Melvin, I can't believe you just defeated a dragon."
Dragons were creatures feared heavily by any citizens. If tamed by a person, could take down an army of strong soldiers or forts by themselves. Dragons come in different classes though the dragon they took down was also in a formidable class. Having one was vital that it could reverse the flow of war.
Though only a specific race of humans were able to tame them.
"Hmm, riding a dragon might be nice." Melvin said.
"Huh? That would be impossible even for you Lord Melvin. In the first place, no sane human would get close to a dragon. They are extremely dangerous"
"Really, huh?"
"More importantly, we are already nearing the church." Hervil said he stared at the bridge of heavens and earth tower. They were now drawing close, but first they made sure to be away from their line of sight.
They noticed that the church was heavily guarded by the Church Agents. The Agents stood firmly in front of the church fence, not letting anyone pass through.
There was also a crowd in front of the church that they filled most of the space of the streets. They seemed to be praying in solemn.
On the tall tower, a constant glow was seeping out through the windows. It was turning bright every second.
Some of the people were passing out. They were quickly helped by their relatives to stand up.
Usually, the church don't hold events like this. In Melvin's mind one thing was for certain, the church was now preparing the Controllion plan.
"Hervil, we need to hurry."
"This might be bad, since we have no way to enter the church."
King Vulhelm then walked towards them. "Allow me to take care of this."
"Your highness?" Hervil said.
"I will speak the truth to the citizens and clear their mind. The absolute truth. And while I'm distracting them, be sure to hurry with it with your plan."
Hervil turned to Melvin. "So what should we do now?"
Melvin chuckled. He thought about it for a second. "Didn't you hear the King? Let's go with his plan." He explained the entire plan to them in full detail.
Everyone in their team nodded. They then prepared to execute their plan.

On the northern wall where the city's defenses were found, General Chagrin peered his eyes unto the distance. He could see some figures appearing on the horizon.
"They are here!"
The goblin horde was slowly coming close every second. There were hundreds of thousands of them. Their numbers were impossible to count.
Even with their presence on the battlefield, the archers didn't draw their bows. That was how they trusted the church.
Chagrin laughed. He then stared at the bridge of heavens and earth tower. Things seemed to be operating. "Everything is moving smoothly."
Right now, they were even more closer. They were only a hundred meters away. They could now see the detail of the goblins. The archers were having a cold feet. Their legs shivered. "Captain what are your orders?"
The captain was calm and collected. "Nothing, we stand by the order of the---"
To their surprise, a spear flew and pierced the Captain's neck. Drops of blood got splattered on their faces.
The archers were surprised. They then nocked their arrows and fired. Several spears were thrown from the goblins, hitting the archers one by one.
The goblins were creatures that had accurate and swift throwing skills.
"What's going on?!" Chagrin was confused.
