Ryu Sei's anger reached peak condition, his face turned red, and his hands clenched into a fist, a vein on his forehead swelled as if it would pop out of his skin.

"What is wrong with this system!?" he yelled, attracting the attention of some people passing by, they looked at him like he is a weirdo. It was not an actual question, but a complaint in indignation with the quest he got.

'This old fashion training, bring water to the sect, what am I? A monk, living in a monastery?' he never thought he would do this kind of thing someday.

It was pretty normal in the old days, make the new guys go down to a mountain and climb it back with buckets of water, but today they had systems.

Sometime later, he calmed down, he was expecting this sect system to suck, but not to that extension. Since he had no other option, he would endure it and put his effort into leveling up.

After searching the mission hall to speak about the quest, he learned that this kind of quest was very common for beginners, the sect has even prepared the necessary tools to complete some of them.

The good news he got is that when he progresses, this type of training will stop.

He took two buckets in a hut near the end of the sect's city and went straight to the river where the man on the mission hall have pointed him.

Just one kilometer ahead, Ryu found another person carrying two buckets, but this one was coming in the opposite direction, and his buckets were full of water.

Ryu doesn't know this guy, he must have taken the test in another region.

The other disciple is smaller than Ryu, and his frame thinner, he was sweating profusely, and his face contracting, showing the extreme effort he was putting in carrying these buckets, this exercise was not easy.

Anxiety took his heart at the scene, but he decided to ignore it and proceeded to the river, reaching it an hour before he left.

The river had a nice view, clear water that enables one to see the fishes swimming, green pine growing on the sides pointing vigorously to the sky, and sun rays passing between the branches in a perfectly straight line, truly, a wonderful sight.

For Ryu Sei, there was no time to waste, he went into the freezing cold water and dove the two buckets as deep as he could fill it to the top of the bucket.

Once he got to the shore, he felt the weight of the buckets, to his surprise, it was not that heavy.

He knew his strength and the buckets shouldn't be so light, the conclusion he reached is that the moment he got the system, his physique had changed, making him stronger.

'This explains why all my are stats at 10. This quest will be easy.', but

500 meters later, and his confidence was already shattered.

His were arms aching like hell, not to mention about his hands. He decided it was time to make a stop to recover, he placed the buckets on the ground and sat on a dead tree to breathe until he could resume the quest.

While he was resting, a noise came from his left, he looked in that direction and saw a childish blonde woman coming with a single bucket in her hands. He was confused as to why she only had one, so he decided to speak with her.

"Hi, Luise, doing this quest too?"

"Ah, it's Ryu. Do you mean the quest to deliver water? I got that too." Luise had a happy expression like she was just taking a stroll over the forest instead of doing hard exercise.

"Do you have to bring just one?" Ryu reached the subject pointing to the bucket at her hand.

"That? No, I got two either, but carrying two at the same time is too hard, so I decided to make two trips. I am currently on my second trip." she said, showing an expression of pride for her smartness.

"Is that allowed?"

"Of course, the quest just say to deliver two buckets, it doesn't specify how you should do it."

They chatted for some time in that place, Ryu was really impressed with Luise. She had used her brain and came up with a very smart move to make this quest more enjoyable. The reason why she was so happy, was that she took the opportunity to see the animals in the forest.

With that, Ryu decided that he would also use his brain, he decided to spill some of the water on the ground to make it lighter. This way he would have no problems carrying the two buckets.

'Hehe, got it, I know how you work now, stupid system. There is no indication how much water I should be carrying, so this much is fine.'. he said, pouring out half the water of each bucket.

One hour passed when he finally reached the sect with his two half-filled buckets. He put the water according to the instruction he got earlier in the mission hall and waited for a signal that the quest was complete.

Nothing. A minute passed, and there was no signal.

He realized that his genius method didn't actually work, he got disappointed, but there was nothing to do, he knew that he had interpreted the quest in a very favorable way for him.

Now he would have to return to the river and start everything again.

But before he leaves, a thought emerged 'What about Luise quest? I wasted a lot of time after her 'tip'. I will wait for her.'.

Ten minutes later, the girl arrived, Ryu was smiling sarcastically, looking at the girl and waiting for her quest to fail. He will wait until she fails her own quest before complaint to her.

The woman reached the spot, dropped the bucket, and said.

"Yeeeeiii, my first quest is done." she is really excited.

Ryu's jaw dropped, "Hey, how did you complete your quest when I failed mine?".

After chatting for a while, Ryu got annoyed with the unfairness of the system, but their talk gave him another idea. The problem is not how many journeys you make, it most probably had something with the amount of water you bring.

So he decided to make another trip to the river, this time taking just one bucket with him.

Two hours later, he reached the sect again, this time taking one bucket completely full. He dropped the water in the right place and waited for the signal.

Still, nothing.

This time, he got really angry and cursed the system with full force.

He even thought about abandoning the mission, but most of the day had passed, and he had already done half the quest, so he swallowed his anger and left for another trip.

'It's like the saying, third time is the charm.'.

At twilight, he came carrying another bucket, he was tired and his mood the worst possible, the whole day wasted in a stupid quest with low reward.

He put the bucket down and wait.

Nothing.

"AAAAHHHH, this damn system is broken." Ryu yelled.
