Chapter 75 - Daughters of Darkness

Tansy stepped into The Murky Cauldron, intending to just get a map and walk back out. She should have known better. As soon as she entered the store, the loud chittering of Wanda’s banter hit her ears along with the shrill voice of another lady. Tansy closed her eyes, biting back the groan that almost slipped out of her mouth. This was one of the reasons she didn’t join in with other covens. The people were loud.

Sherri laughed from behind the counter, leaning on the glass with her elbows, hands clasped in front of her, obviously noticing the pained expression on Tansy’s face. “They’ve been like that for almost two hours,” she said. “I’m not exactly sure what they’re going on about, but from the way they both keep making dismayed gasps and that tsk-tsk noise with their tongues, I’d wager whatever it is, isn’t good. You might want to turn around and escape before they notice you. Oh, and Jordan Thomas says hello.”

Tansy turned a confused look to Sherri. “How do you know Jordan?”
