Chapter 109 - Daughters of Darkness

When Jayden pulled up in front of the house of William Underwood, Laci noticed Tansy’s car already in the driveway. “Why is she here?” she asked, turning to look at her sister.

Jayden just shrugged. “Don’t look at me. I didn’t call her.”

Laci felt her brows knit together as she turned back to the front of the ranch-style home. “This should be interesting,” she said as she opened her car door.

Jayden followed suit, both girls walking up the driveway to the front of the house.

Tansy and Wanda stood on the wooden porch, a thin gray-haired man in the doorway, staring at them with curiosity creasing his brows. They all turned and watched the Valentine sisters approach, Tansy’s features revealing her annoyance. “Did Sherri call you? I told her we could handle this.”

Laci shook her head. “Nope. We’re actually here because of Duncan.”

The man’s eyes went wide for a moment. “Duncan? Why would you be asking about my brother?”
