The ultimate truth was almost a little too simple, and as much as she would have liked something dramatic, she was glad that this principal concept was easy to understand, it was like arriving at zero after solving a question for two pages, but 0 is absolute, really powerful, think about it like this: in our life, our situations, mindsets, bodies, relationships, residences ,neighbours, everything changes, what is preserved is what is real, the basic us, the real us, our spirit, our values, ones that hold importance over everything, ones that do not change even as time passes, our most basic beliefs, the ones that are forever frozen, therefore, we should try to instil good beliefs in ourselves, no matter what, always remember, A man is what his thoughts are, this philosophy has been passed on from generation to generation, only to give us insight into something that people learned on their own back in the day, everyone must've had their own 'bulimia' story, she was growing as an influencer at the same time, her website, 'Trouble Bubble', a website she had created for her friends to use had become a huge sensation, people could write their worries into their bubbles, and pop them, it wasn't just a game, when going through trouble, Leah thought, since a very long time, the one thing that happens to me every single time, is thinking that I am alone, therefore, her website showed you bubbles of people, bubbles written by angry, hurt or suffering kids, or at least she thought so, the website had crashed due to traffic, and she had had to buy a server to keep it running, then she got associated with writers, she was invited by Oxford for a tour after her 'book release' and everything was going great, she only needed one thing and then life would be complete. She needed Ethan. Judging from the way that Ethan had reacted when Erik was hitting on her, although she was disgusted by Erik's following her for no reason at all, she was grateful, for just a moment, Ethan had let down his mask of anger and hate, she had seen concern and love for herself in his eyes, when he called her on the field earlier, she knew that he would forgive her, there was nothing left to lose, she was going to give it her all, leave no regrets. Everything was set, she could spend time with him on the camp, tell him that she was sorry, that she was not mad or in the position to be, that it was her mistake as well and she acknowledged that, the fact that she should have thought a little bit about how he would feel when he heard the words, "I'm scared of you.", obviously, he must have felt broken, must have felt unable to believe his ears, he had apologised, and she had thought that she'd forgotten, but somewhere in her complicated heart, she must have hidden her resentment, now she really had nothing to hold on to, she had moved on from the past, maybe, because she'd let it out, she couldn't leave him miserable, even if they could not be lovers, she wanted to be his friend, being his 'ex', she was giving him pain, she could feel the palpable tension that filled the atmosphere where those two were together, she was sick and tired of all the drama, she wanted her first love back, and if not the love then she wanted to end things with him on better terms, she wasn't obsessive, she was being rational, or at least trying her best to, but love isn't rational, the only logic that works is no logic at all.
Their story was finally going to face their last obstacle, one that could make or break all.
Will they come back to each other in the end, or will their story remain as just another high school story?
