I stared up at the ceiling in my bed. "You just gonna lay there all day?" Star asked. "Yeah, probably." "Alright, do what you want." Star walked past me, and to the door. "I'm going to the cafe. You want something?" "Sure. Just get me a cheeseburger." "Alright, see ya." She opened the door, and walked out. As I heard the door close, I rolled over. All of the things that had been happening only built up more distrust but… I still felt like I was missing some big piece of information. Something I should know, but for some reason, I don't. Now that I thought about it, I had thought about something weird just a couple days earlier - how Senol being here would mess up some sort of objective that I had. What was that about? I had yet another feeling that this wasn't just some mistake. My past was a mystery, I might have some sort of objective here that would be messed up by Senol being here, I didn't know if I could trust the people that ran this place, and then finally, this 'Second Phase' thing. The thing that supposedly increased our power, making us able to do things that we weren't able to do before. The stress only grew. I had a headache. A bad one. I couldn't think. My bed wasn't comfortable. It was all just too much.
I buried my head into my pillow, and attempted to go to sleep. The headache steadily got more and more painful, until, thankfully, I passed out.
My dream was… unusual to say the least. I was in a bluish-white space, and I was just… floating. I knew this was a dream, but… it just felt too real. And then - another feeling came. A feeling that this wasn't 'just a dream', even though I had yet to see anything. Then - out of nowhere - a figure appeared in the distance. Then, a voice echoed, 'Star - are you okay? Did you make it there?' A pause. 'Yet again, no response. Why won't he respond? Did something happen? Argh!', and the figure disappeared as suddenly as it came. The voice - for some reason - I recognized. I had no idea who it was, yet I still knew the person that spoke. Another secret from my past to uncover.
And then, I awoke. My headache was gone. I could think. I sighed, and looked at the clock, wondering how long I had been asleep. I stopped. The time - was the exact same as it was before - to the second. Either time had stopped for the duration of my dream, or my dream was just really, really quick. And, my ability coincidentally Time Manipulation, I was leaning towards the former. But, I couldn't completely stop time… not yet at least. I sighed. Yet Another mystery to uncover appeared. Everything was stacking up. The headache wasn't coming back at least. I turned over to look back up at the ceiling. I started to wonder what would happen in the future. Would things go uphill, or… would things take a sudden plunge for the worse? I closed my eyes. Whatever would happen, I would deal with it when It happens. And then, I was swept up into the realm of sleep.
