Hack("First Hackhaton")

"God of Hackers.

The Hackathon* that initiated for a decade once. It was a survivability game for talented hackers around the world.

In that Hackhaton, losing means death. But since you are a [Cybernetics] now, then death means nothing for you.

But, the winner, I heard that there was no winner since the event had started for the first time, decades ago. Most of the winner who held the [Big Data] had gone insane and... died for eternally.'

It was a word that came out from the slender yet, darkened lips of a man who talked to a little girl, who looked at him as he tilted his face to the left.

That word alone had sent the little lady into the frozen chill, as chilly as a snowy chill.

Thus, that little lady looked at him with a scared expression, asking him,

"Is that supposed to be a programming competition instead? Why it sounds like a battle royale for me?"

"Simple, Arisa. That's the game to choose who will becomes the god in this world. And just like you, both dad and mom did not bought into it. But unlike you, we are not dared enough to speak that out. While, you are dared to speak it out, even you have no fear with the death upon your execution."

"It" that her father had mentioned was something that she knew in a mutual understanding,

[Distrust of the truth that the Big Data itself is a god]

But, she had to deal with it. There was no more way to deal with that "truth" but only to accept it.

However, She was taught not to believe anything in front of her eyes by her parents. With that basic knowledge she had, she asked her father, who lay down at the patient bed while looking at her with a fatherly expression.

"So, this is the reason of why you guys trained me to become a hacker? Even asked the top hacker to taught me everything about what she knows about?"

"That hacker was the only known winner of [God of Hackers] Hackathons. But, she forfeited the match as she knew that there was something shady on it. Thus, we decided to groom you personally to become a hacker, since we do believe that you have a power to hold onto the [Big Data]."

Thus, that statement from her father was sharpening her will for not believing that [Big Data] was a god. Therefore, she shared her point of view with her father, telling him,

"I got to thank master mime for teaching me about hacking. But, I'm not only believing big data as a god. But Artificial Inteligence*, and the Automation. They are only a bunch of tools that supported our life. Just like my [Cybernetics] body right now. It ain't even a god created stuff. Rather, it was created by us. So, why do we need to pray to them?"

Bonar chuckled when she stated so. By that chuckle blurted by him, that means that he strongly agreed with her statement. Thus, Bonar explained to her,

"You are right, most of them are bowing to that three digital being, as if that they are the trinity gods. While in fact, you are the one who decided your destiny. Not them."

"I do believe that the real trinity gods are the ones who decided how our life will go, and we should follow their suit to make our life better, father." She replied to him happily, which led that man to laugh, and at the same time, he asked her,

"Are you ready to become the [God of Hackers] after dad telling you this lot?"

"Crystal clear ready!" She clenched her mechanical right arm up, showing that she was ready for everything.

Thus, five years had passed.

The announcer in the hi-tech metropolis announced,

"There are five million talented hackers around the world in age 9-31 years old range who joined this competition. As expected from the world greatest Hackhaton ever, the participant would be increasing decade by decade."

On another side of the metropolis city in the Southern Continent,

A chopper was flying, with a familiar older man and a young girl covered herself with the cool rabbit hoodie.

Bonar, that man who drove the chopper, asked the girl on the right side of him.

"Are you ready?"

"Go for it, dad." That nine-year-old looking girl unveiled her hood, showing her long lolita hair with the soft black color at the end of the strands, while colored grayish-silver on the top of her inches.

Then, she closed her hood as she checked her face and hair conditions through the reflective glass in front of her. She was pulling a pair of pink-colored P-90 in both of her hips, observing the gun before she was ready for the deployment.

Thus, she put it back again, replying through the voice command in the middle of the chopper, which shaped resembling the microphone,

[Participant 2018: Arisa Simanjuntak, nine years old, ready for the deployment!]

Thus, Bonar commanded,

[Bonar Simanjuntak, guardian of Arisa Simanjuntak for task 001 God of Hackers, infriation ready in one...two...thre...]

[Comitee of God of Hackers granted permission to launch.]

[Arisa Ready to Launch in three...two..one...!]

She jumped from the highest height of the skies that barely seen anything in below.

To the average person, it was a dangerous stunt. But, the trained Arisa was treating this as nothing but a new challenge for her.

Thus, she continued to fly like a squirrel as she slowly descended to the highest building in the world.

She continued to maneuver to the left, right while the rain had drenched her as she continued to fly.

Thus, she reached the top of the highest building, removing the electrical equipment in her back, which was why she could fly like a squirrel.

'Too bad that this artificial squirrel wings could be only used once.' Arisa lamented while walking quickly towards the building corner, rendering her look at the busy metropolis city covered in the rain that seemingly won't stop anytime.

She observed the crowded city in the mightly high building. Thus, she reported through the pressable button in her chin that she pressed by using her left thumb.

"Dad, I have arrived to the highest building in this city."

'Okay, good, now, do as the mission tasked in your heads-up display."

"Got this." She moved to the back of the building, kicking out a random bottle while walking towards that place.

Thus, she arrived at where she was about to jump and, not suicide obviously, but for something related to her mission.

She slid her left hand from left to right with the classy style, looking at the screen colored in white and blue tint to ease her sightseeing on her screen.

Thus, she slid it back after she had done with checking while at the same time, a system command,

[RTX 0010 Switch skin mode: Sturdy.]

Thus, her initial adorable-looking skin had turned into the scalp of protective mails that colored as black and gray in a perfect color blending.

After that, she looked down and then she jumped from the building.

She continued to leap to the lowest part of the building as she aimed.

Thus, she continued to maneuver her body left and right, to avoid the friction between the skies and her body.

[Tesla Environment Detection: Wind Speed has reached the dangerous level, move left.]

She moved to the left as the voice had suggested her so.

Then, the system continued to send her a voice through her robotic mind as it said,

[Intera Camera Zoom: Safe to land!]

She could sense the slow-motion from her point of view as everything went slow until she reached the lower ground with many leaves of grass in it.

[Nveria Damage Protection Initiated.]

Bruk!!

She overturned her body to minimalize the impact while at the same time, hidden ideally in the grasses that led her to take a deep breathe as the other message had come up in her heads up display,

[Mediaca Hormone Detection: High level of Adrenaline detected, resting and taking soft breathing is required.]

'Got this.' Arisa muttered in her mind while controlling her breath.

She knew that she might be a [Cybernetics.] But she was 90.891207344890812% organic after all, as it was written in her system that visibly seen in her [Cybernetic Eyes]

It may look confusing for ordinary users who had just become a [Cybernetics]. But for Arisa, a tech adept, it was nothing as it was only an accurate calculation for her body's organic percentage written in double* data type.

Thus, she looked at those robotic creatures that were patrolling everywhere, rendering her to observe the best option for her to infiltrate

without being detected.

After that, she looked at her screen again, re-reading her mission as it was written,

[Annihiliate the corrupted politician in X building, X City Southern Continent.]

'That is a huge bucks of money worth mission. I had to clear this quickly and perfectly, so dad could be able to retire when he wanted.'

Thus, she opened her screen again by sliding her left hand to the right side.

She looked at a lot of 1 and 0 on her screen as it tried to form into something.

Thus, it formed a text as it was written,

[Hacking OS Initiated.]
