The discovery

In the wake of an early start, the children decided to go on a vast walk to see if they could find anything. Camelia was strolling around jaded when she found a miniature cave, she waited until all people around had disappeared into the wilderness when no one was looking she slid inside to see if anything was in there. To her wonders of imagination had finally blown, ancient ruins were scribbled across the cold stone walls. Vines of deep dark greens spread across the rock walls. An ancient dirt path leads from the gap in a Boulder deep down into the unknown and an abyss of darkness. Not thinking, Camelia headed down. She searched for a sign of life or anything that could be a huge find. What felt like hours was just a few seconds in the dark gloomy place. This part of the Amazon looked like a prison hidden from all normal people. As she ventured deeper into the dangerous place, the sound of rushing water filled the huge empty room and bounced off the walls, echoing from each stone dagger to another. Without knowing what was ahead of her she took another step forward.

Up above, she heard her crew collaring her name, but she denied the calls and adventured further into the cave. More ruins looking older and older appeared on the walls spreading like an arrow across the many walls. The sound of water echoed every so often to make her go deeper. Once a small dirt path, now an open cave. As if it was there forever, a light beamed through an opening in the cave roof. A green light. Green from the trees above. Camelia scrambled up the steep pebble path to find out her mistake. She had passed the natural line.

She was on the Sid where no humans can go with authority because of how environmental Brazilians were. Camelia just looked at the greenery of this magic world before realising her friends needed her. She looked for the opening again, but she couldn't find it. She tried to follow the way she came but it was very difficult. She stayed still for hours, maybe even days. The noise of the leaves startled her every time a rustle was heard. After endless hours she heard a voice. A sweet voice. A voice that was singing. She followed the tune to a beautiful land where Amazon tribes were living. To the beauty she realised her friends were nowhere to be seen. Camille had no idea what to do.

Meanwhile, her friends were frantically searching high and low all over. As dusk arrived, Ophelia stood at the natural line, "CAMELIA WHERE ARE YOU, YOU CANNOT LEAVE ME WITH THESE IDIOTS!!" She screeched at the top of her lungs. Lucky for her, just so faintly, Camelia heard the calls for help and rushed towards the voice yelling, "WHERE ARE YOU!!" Like they could see each other they both ran towards each other.

They were both over the line.

Team 4290 were sitting waiting at the line where they saw the two girls meet. Soraia's eyes look up and down in disgrace before leaving for the boat. The team rushed up to Soraia and stormed away from their own teammates as what they did was very rude to her community.

"What did you do, you just could have lost me my job! IDIOT!! I cannot believe I ran over the line for you! I would have preferred to have Aliza come then you!" Ophelia said while storming away in a cloud of rage! Camelia broke down in a flood of tears before curling up under a miniature rock.

"Why did I do that?" Camelia questioned to herself, "Why was I so stupid and decide to go in that stupid cave, I've ruined everything!"

"No, you haven't," A female voice said from behind, "Only disrupted it."

"What do you mean, I crossed the line?" Camelia said while brushing the tears off her face.

"Silly child, only the Brazilians believe that! Us Amazons don't!" The female figure spoke softly while slouching down the rock, "Your guid is from Brazil, part of civilization. She just studies the Amazon, like you do. We are the true Amazonians, born and raised in the jungle! We should be teaching you!"

"B-but the line, I crossed it, I have done b-bad, I don't get it?" Camelia cried.

"Silly, the line is not there; the living zones are scattered, making enough living quarters and still natural land. 94% is FULLY natural we make do with what we got. In the entire forest only an estimated 5 million lived in it! Only!" The women said encouragingly!

"What's your name, I'm Camelia, I could learn a lot from you!" Camelia stated.

"Ebene, Ebene Trazie, pronounced Eb-n-e Tra-zee!" Ebene replied joyfully!
