Snot

Duyi opened his eyes only to find that he was surrounded by the sounds of shrill screams and the smell of milk mixed in with fruit juice and sunshine.

"...Duyi? Are you okay?"

A little girl sat in front of him shyly, with a small amount of snot running down her nose. She wore a pink dress and had pompoms in her hair.

She looked really cute.

Sitting up, he realized that he must be in a kindergarten.

"I'm fine..."

His eyes suddenly widened.

His hands were fat and milky, and his voice was sweet.

He grabbed himself down below. When he found his little brother, he inexplicably sighed.

Duyi realized he wasn't just in a kindergarten. He was a kindergartner.

He mumbled under his breath, "Shit..."

"Huh?"

The little girl still looked at him with big eyes as if she were worried about him.

"I'm fine. What happened?"

"You just stopped talking all of a sudden and fell."

"Huh..."

Duyi called out to the system in his head [Why the f*ck would you put me in a little brat! I'll kill you!]

-Host! Please calm down! You can live a full and happy life and fulfill your dreams just the same!

[Xiao Hei, don't let me catch you when you turn into a little black ball!]

Suddenly, Duyi was hit on the side of the head with a red ball.

"Stay away from little Miaomiao!"

Another milky brat with snot in his nose ran up to Duyi and domineeringly pulled the little girl away from him.

She struggled with his hand clenching her arm, "Go away Xiao Wen! Duyi is prettier than you!"

The little girl and boy quibbled back and forth and the teacher just watched blankly from the side with a small smile on her face.

Duyi suddenly spoke up loudly and argued with the little boy.

Anyway, he was a kid, too.

"I don't even like Miaomiao! She's the one who keeps following me around like a little puppy!

"If you don't like her to hang out with other people, why don't you put her on a leash like a dog and keep her by you so I don't have to hear your barking all day!"

The teachers' eyes widened a bit, "Duyi, that's not a nice thing to say! Didn't you used to get along with Miaomiao before?"

The teacher was surprised. This child was usually so quiet and demure! He used to be so well behaved!

Was he really wronged?

Twisted logic could shield people's eyes too, apparently.

She hadn't even noticed that a ball was thrown at him.

Duyi decided that he didn't have to be nice anyway. His soul was an adult and he knew that he could get away with a lot of stuff as a kid.

And kids could be cruel.

He pointed at the little boy whose name he still didn't know and proceeded to whine, pushing out fake tears.

"That was before he hit me with a ball! He can keep her by him if he has the ability, but I don't want her by me if she brings me trouble!"

He began to roll on the floor, "Teacher, I'm gonna tell my mom and dad that he hit me, because you don't care about me! I saw you smiling after I was hit! My head hurts! Hic! My stomach hurts too! My eye is swollen!"

He then sat on his knees and bawled as loudly as he could, thinking about his dead dog.

[System, use my charming skills!]

Suddenly, the kindergarten teacher felt her heart break. She hadn't even noticed when this little boy was bullied.

Xiao Wen even tried to speak up for himself, taken aback by Duyi's behavior.

"Teacher, I didn't throw the ball..." that hard.

"Liar! You threw it! Your whole family threw it!" Duyi interrupted Xiao Wen before he could finish his sentence to see if he could get the little boy in trouble, adding in a phrase used wrongly to spice up the tantrum a bit.

He hated those types of domineering little brats the most!

Duyi was picked up by the teacher and began to trash around.

"Teacher doesn't care about me! Wu~ Wu~!"

He felt her hand pat his back before he finally decided to calm down.

It was tiring to throw a tantrum!

The teacher noticed and gently stood him on the floor.

Snot was running down his nose and his eyes were red and swollen, making the mole near the corner of his eye more distinct.

His lashes were stained with tears, making them look longer as they drooped in front of his eyes.

"Duyi, Xiao Wen didn't mean it, okay? He's sorry, look, he even went to get you an ice pack."

Duyi began to mumble, "...He yelled at me."

"I know, I know. Teacher is sorry she smiled too, but I wasn't smiling because you were hit."

Duyi began to pout.

"Well, do you forgive teacher?"

Acting as if he made a concession, he put the ice pack on the side of his head and looked at her warily, "...Okay. But I still want Miaomiao to stay away. Teacher should tell Xiao Wen and Miaomiao not to mess with me or I will throw a ball at them too."

"???" The teacher began to wonder if this kid had secretly been brutal.

The two kids had heard him clearly enough anyway, as they were standing next to him.

Duyi looked at them and scoffed, "I guess I won't tell my mom and dad. You guys can go now. I want to be alone."
