Learning the Alphabet

During nap time, Duyi was informed of the plot, and his face immediately scrunched up.

Except for the fact that he was in an ABO world where people had spirit animals, it was pretty similar to his original one in terms of technology.

People here would differentiate after their spirit animal appeared, often going into their heat/rut as a result, creating a lot of unlikely partnerships and accidental marriages.

This was just to add some spicy romance to the novel, completely not worth any mentioning.

What was really important was that within the next 20 or so years, there would be an alien invasion and technology would rapidly develop as a result of war.

Humans would soon escape to space and begin the interstellar age!

But the worst part, was that when chaos ensued, it was likely that people would be left behind. More specifically, the body that he was in was going to be left behind.

The male lead's company was the first to go underground after the invasion to start research into the crashed alien ships that humans had barely managed to defend against.

His company developed technology which was spread to the entire human race to help as many people escape as possible.

They were also involved in gene editing to help humans survive in harsher environments and live longer.

While he funded the development of these things, the male lead had joined the military to help defend against the aliens, leaving his little wife at home.

She had somehow remained very spoiled even as the plot developed, and had gotten involved with a lot of men throughout the story.

They loved her, and with each confession, she would just tell them that she was sorry and run away, making more enemies for the male lead.

They were all dead.

And Duyi was one of these people. Except that when the ships took off, the male lead had put him, and a lot of people he didn't like into a coma for a few weeks so they couldn't board the ship.

The original owner later killed himself in front of an alien that he couldn't defend against.

Eventually, the female lead exclusively belonged to the male lead. In the end they had a happy life together travelling through space.

After seeing the male and female leads' interactions just now, Duyi began to think that the female leads' interactions with other men were on purpose.

That's right, Xiao Wen and little Miaomiao were the male and female lead, respectively.

Miaomiao obviously didn't like the male lead if she made so much trouble for him by going to other people.

Either that, or she actually liked him deep down and was subconsciously trying to make him jealous?

He had no idea.

Either way, he was glad that he had cut off his relationship with the leads.

He was destined to become an Alpha male in this world, and wouldn't sweat the other people around him.

Anyways, he could build a space ship easily if he really wanted to. The male lead seemed particularly vengeful and he didn't want to get involved with him anyway.

If he build a ship by himself, he wouldn't owe anything to anyone.

[Xiao Hei, get me some books on interstellar engineering. I wanna learn.]

-Host! This will cost you 30 allocable points, only because you already have learned basic engineering and physics! Are you sure you want to spend your allocable points?

[Yes.]

-Okay host!

-These books will be accessible to you at any time! The system suggests that you read them in this order.

A list of books suddenly appeared in his brain. The transfer of information was a bit painful.

[Xiao Hei, warn me next time if it hurts!]

-...Okay host.

[...Can I also exchange my points for money?]

-Host needs money?

[Of course!]

-Well, I have a bit I can give you.

-When you get older, just go to the bank and you'll have an inheritance under my name! No need for points!

[Really?]

-Of course! money is useless for this system! You can have it!

[Okay! You're the best Xiao Hei!]

After this, his days of intense study would soon begin!
