I Had A Brother

Next morning someone knocked the door and Yanmei woke up. She was half asleep when she opened the door and shocked to see red faced Lijun. 'Why the hell my bully boss is here at this time' she thought and looked over her shoulder to see the time. It was 5 am and she growled.

She looked at her boss and asked "I know I am your employee but it's 5 am. Why are you here?"

Lijun didn't tell anything but looked at her from up to down. Seeing his red face she followed his gaze and remember she was in her underwear because she slept in her underwear. Red color appeared on her face and she run away and hid behind curtain.

"You are such a fool, Yanmei" she mumbled.

Lijun entered the flat like he owned it because he owned it. He carried several shopping bags. He put those bags down and cleared his throat "Nixxi send some dresses for you".

She narrowed her eyes and thought 'Nixxi said they will go for shopping tonight after the work and she didn't mention that she'll send some dress for me and she send it with her brother!'.

She looked at those bags "Are these shopping bags?"

"Of course not. Do you think I'll go to shopping only for you? Nixxi knew you don't have any other cloths. That's why she send these cloths. And she know I jog this time that's why she send it with me"

' What am I thinking? Of course Nixxi send it. She is so sweet. And I should know he'll never do anything for me. He does it because his sister wants him to do it' she thought.

"You should were some cloths. The scenery is distracting though I am not complaining" he smirked and looked at the curtain where she hid.

"Turn around" she ordered and to her surprise he obey.

She came out from the curtain and took those shopping bags. Lijun didn't look at her but ordered "Were the jogging cloths".

She narrowed her eyes "Why?"

"Because we are going for running"

Her eyes were wide "We?"

"Yes, we. now, common hurry up".

She looked at the clock and said " But it's 4 am".

"I know. But thanks for the information" he said sarcastically.

She didn't want to argue with this stubborn guy and went to her room. She opened those bags and saw lots of dresses. Some were office cloths, some were jeans and T shirt. She opened another bag and saw white, Red, black tops and brown and black leggings.

"Wow. I don't need to shop anymore. Nixxi sends so many cloths" she murmured.

She washed her face and wore black leggings and white top. She tight her hair in a pony tail.

When she went to the hall she saw Lijun still stand where she ordered him to stand. She cleared her throat and said "I am ready".

Lijun turned and smirked "You look good but I prefer your night cloths".

Blush appeared on her face and she looked away. And he loved her blushed face so much.

After some moment his face was serious and he said with calm tone "Let's go".

Both were running beside each other. Lijun can run firster than anyone because he was a vampire. And a vampire are the fastest creature in the world but he was not here for running or show off his powers. He was here to know about Yanmei. Though he didn't like Kim but she was right they should not believe anyone so easily. His sister never listen to him if he said stay away from her best friend. They didn't know anything about Nixxi's new best friend. She was suddenly come to their life and she met with Nixxi coincidentally. Here's a thing, he didn't believe coincidence. He lived century and he knew better than trust anyone.

He knew that his sister and Yanmei will go to shopping. And he can't let her near his sister without knowing anything about her. That's why he bought those cloths in the middle of the night. Well, the mall was his, so no one can said anything to him. Though that's not the only reason for buying those cloths. Yanmei didn't has anything, maybe she run away from her home. And that's make him more curious about her.

They run silently and he can't tolerate the silence anymore. After all he was here to know about her.

"Nixxi said that you live in the village?"

She looked at him and nodded.

Looking at her tired face he said "We should rest for a moment".

And they both stopped and went to nearby bench and sat. He offered her water and she took it.

"Tell me something about your family".

She narrowed her eyes "Why are you interested about my family suddenly?"

"You know about me and my sister. What's wrong if I want to know about you? You are my secretary and you should gave me your personal detail before joining for security. But you didn't give me documents" he said with calm tone.

She looked away from him and stared at her hand on her laps. She told Nixxi about her family, at least some of it. She didn't say that she was a part of a wolf pack. She can't say that to him either.

She sigh "My mother was died when I was a kid. My father married his mistress after mother died. And they have a daughter too who hates me. She and her mother always tortured me. I don't have any documents because I run away from there. But I know they wouldn't miss me. They are happy because the burden left. Honestly, I don't miss them either. I am here for start my new life and I don't want to waste one second on them".

Anger appeared on his face "Your step sister and step mother were horrible. What about your Father?"

She chuckled sadly "I never remember I have a father. He never care for me. When mother was alive, he didn't care for me and after she died..."

She didn't complete her sentence. She remembered when she waited for her father in her birthday but he never came. But he always celebrate Lewei's birthday.

Looking her sad face rage appeared on Lijun's face and his hand balled a fist. He was angry with her family and he wanted to hunt them down. He wanted to give them a painful death.

"What about you?" Yanmei's voice brought him back from his violent thoughts. He looked at her puzzled "What?"

"I know Nixxi is your sister but don't know anything about your parents".

"Did my sister tell you anything about our family?"

"No, she didn't say anything and I didn't her".

"Why not?" he asked looking at her eyes he continue "I heard kittens are always curious about everything".

She narrowed her eyes "kitten?"

"Yes, a curious Kitten. I wonder why this kitten don't use her claws like she used when we first met" he smirked.

She was irritated "You love to give me nick names".

He laughed "You have to agree, all of my nick names suit you very well".

She rolled her eyes "Whatever, I asked you about your family and you don't answer when I told you about my family".

After some time sadness appeared on his face and he sigh "I had a brother".
