CHAPTER FOURTY-EIGHT~Siobhan

The church is filled up with people who came to bid Nana farewell on her journey. There are barely any empty seats left for anyone else. She was truly loved. I've been thinking about how they want me to deliver the eulogy in three minutes when I can't even relate to how I feel. I now understand how Chanel felt when we lost Rémy  … the disconnection from the situation and the emotions is insane.

"Hey," I whisper to Chanel. "Do you think you can help me say a few words about Nana? I didn't write a eulogy and I don't think I can say one right now."

"I got you." She squeezes my hand.

Next on the program is the eulogy and as soon as they announce my name, she stands up and walk to the podium.
