Chapter 10

"Y-You already have a workshop set up?" Cho asked that herself she needs to hear that again to make sure that she didn't miss heard it!

"Yep, now I can work in peace." He said that with a shrug as he started to walk towards Great Hall.

Cho for a second looked at the stairs, then at leaving Harry, then back to the stairs before deciding to follow him, she is far too interested and curious about the things he does!

"Wait up Harry!" She slightly dashed at him before catching up to him.

"C-Can I see your workshop?" She asked with a borderline cute look.

"...Sure, but it's a secret hideout you can't tell anyone about it, I already put concealment arrays around that place." Harry seriously said that he is not interested in finding another place for his hideout.

"O-Okay!" Cho said that with barely hidden excitement, It's like a secret club of sorts!

Harry nodded and they went to Main Hall together, after this Marietta was not happy when she learned that Cho left her in the common room.

At least It was amusing for Harry to watch how Cho tried to apologise, but the last Peverell can see that Marietta is holding this on him.

'Ah jealousy, let's see how far this will go…'

~~~~~~After Classes~~~~~~
The classes were over and Cho was waiting for Harry just around the corner close to Ravenclaw tower.
The girl had to come up with an excuse to lose Marietta, her friend was being very annoying lately...
It was quite hard, but she was able to do it, now however she anxiously waiting for Harry.
That didn't last long…
"Hey, Cho."
The girl snapped quickly and looked where the source of Harry's voice was coming from.
"Over here."
Seconds later Harry reappeared as if he was a mirage which became a reality.
"Y-You know Disillusionment Charm" She asked with awe and curiosity.
Instead of answering he rolled his eyes and pulled out something similar to a rectangular piece of silver metal.
"Nope, but I have something more permanent." He handed her the piece of metal.
"Channel some magic into this and you will be invisible, a warning though, you can still be heard and touched, as it's only an optical illusion." He explained to her as she was inspecting the piece of silver looking metal.
"This is amazing, is this the runic arrays you were talking about?" She showed the inscribed runes on the surface.
It looked so pretty to her that she can consider this piece of metal an art!
"Yeah, it's a runic cluster. More simply a bunch of arrays put together." He explained to her for a second.
Same time he was thinking if he could get her help on some simple stuff, maybe if he can make another laptop she could do some casual stuff?
While Harry was thinking about additional manpower, Cho looked closely at the piece of metal, it had several round, wheel-like shaped inscriptions, in these inscriptions, there are small letters seamlessly coming together!
'Just how Harry inscribe these!? They are so small!'
"Try it out and then we can move." He motioned her to try.
She nodded back and then tried out.
The next moment she was invisible and then squeaked girlishly, and quickly turned visible.
"T-That was so weird! I couldn't see my body!" She said with a slightly embarrassed look.
Harry could only nod at her, it is a weird experience when you can't see your body yet same time you know it's there, the difference was he did not react like Cho did…
"Yes, it's weird, now we need to move, for this you will need to hold my hand, I will guide you." He offered his hand to her.
For second the raven-haired girl blushed like crazy,
He could only roll his eyes seeing her reaction, its cute, maybe once she is a couple more years older then they can start thinking in that direction…
Still, who knows with magic, mundane common sense there is very little here, not that he can say anything… After all, he lives in a car junkyard.
"O-Okay…" She gave him her hand, Harry wanted to eye roll seeing how she was doing it, it's as if they going on date or something…..
Once Harry took her hand, he activated his utility belt, he has no idea how long his belt will last in this environment, still there are no signs that its runic arrays are overheating.
Cho eyes for a second widened when she saw him turn invisible and it looked that she was holding air in her hand.
Seeing this she quickly channelled magic into the piece of metal turning invisible.
"Good, don't drop it, and don't stop channelling magic," Harry said to the girl as he slowly started guiding her towards the staircase.
"A-Are you sure? I don't think I have enough magic to sustain the invisibility for very long." She said with a slightly panicked tone, just how much magic Harry has? That was on her mind as she realised that Harry probably is using this for some time now!
"Don't worry the arrays don't take a lot as once they kick in they generate magic on their own." He explained to her as they entered the magical stairway.
Harry is quite annoyed by these moving stairs, that moving function can drive one mad.
"Now don't talk until we reach the corridor." He whispered to her.
"Okay…"
~~~

Cho followed where Harry was taking her, she quickly realised that they ended up in one of those long-abandoned corridors.

She never was here before, it's far too dark and dusty for her, and she was not Gryffindor who has that thirst for exploring.

"Good, that was the last portrait, we can talk now." He said that to her as he turned visible and released her hand.

The girl was slightly disappointed by that, still, she turned visible as it was disorientating walking without seeing one's body.

"Why you care about the portraits?" She asked curiously, she made sure to be close to him because the place was giving her the creeps.

"Because they report things to teachers and headmaster." He explained to her as they arrived at the place.

Harry put his hand on regular stone brick, moment later like a mirage doors appeared in front of them.

He then casually opened them and motioned for Cho to enter.

The girl was still shocked hearing about the portraits. But, then that shock was blown away when she saw the room, it was more like a large living room than a classroom!

With couches and coffee table and soft carpet, while it was mostly empty it can be already considered livable, most importantly there was no dust, it's like it had a deep cleaning before they arrived at this place!

"Well, here it is… Nothing special, I only finished setting up basic things." He closed doors behind her and motioned casually at the place.

"It's already amazing! I don't even know half of the spells needed for cleaning! Yet you already set up this in two days!"

She said that as she looked around.

"Well, I don't use spells, everything was done with runic arrays, it's better than spells, this room will be clean for a very long time," Harry said that with a small smirk, if the abundant of magic continues then the runic arrays will continue to exist, that means this room will be clean as long as Hogwarts has its magic…

The raven-haired girls eyes widened for a second, what he said was even more amazing than knowing a couple of cleaning spells.

"And the furniture?" She asked while gulping down.

"Alchemy…" He said with shrug.

That confirmed it, Cho realised that Harry was very, very talented. It's even better than stories about him!

"That's incredible! Alchemy is NEWT's level!" She quickly walked over the furniture and inspected it.

Quick inspection later she realised that the material it was created from is even better than in Ravenclaw Common Room!

"C-Can I come here to do homework?" The Ravenclaw girl asked him after thinking for a bit.

"Hmm…" Harry wanted to say no, but then he started to think, he might be able to rope her in to help him with some simple things.

If he could create a second laptop she could help him make that ingredient reaction table…

'No, it would be more like a database instead…'

'Plus I would be able to improve the security of this place…' After making up his mind, Harry decided that the magic negating array can wait, he is about to get some more manpower.

"Sure, but you will help with some things…" He said while having a thoughtful look.

"H-Helping you? With what?" Cho was nervous and excited at the same time, if she can stay here she would be able to get closer to him!

Pity that she hasn't realised that there are at least three girls already interested in him…

"The thing we were talking about on the first day, I will be doing that after fixing some issues." He explained to her.

The raven-haired girl had thoughtful look when Harry mentioned that.

"Okay, it sounds interesting." She agreed with a smile.

"Great, believe me, it will be more than interesting." He said with a mysterious smile, Harry is confident that he will be able to rope her in with his Technomancy.

His words only made her more curious.

"Right, first let me do some tinkering for the doors…" Harry said that while preparing to do some work.

He knows he already has the Gryffindor foxes interested in his Magic Pod, he could get them to help him with this assignment as well, if he can make more laptops then they could help him to find more bugs in his system.

After all, he is the only one who has been using it, the more people test it the better…

"Oh, what are you going to do?" She asked curiously.

"Going to put proper security for the door." He said to her as he started walking to the workshop room, the girl followed him as well.

Her eyes slighly widened when she saw multiple tools laying on the work table, some of them had a glowy look to them.

Most importantly they looked like they were made from silver-like metal!

"Is that goblin silver?" She asked with realisation, her mouth was open slightly, that metal is quite, frankly... legendary! Goblins protect the secret of how to make it quite meticulously, as no one else can make it, until now that is...

While it took a couple of seconds for Harry to make the connection.

'So, Mythril is called Goblin silver? Heh, I wonder how would they react if I would enter the bank in full plate armour made from Goblin silver?' He chuckled internally just from imagining that!

Still, it would cause a shitstorm, something he would probably do once he knows they can't do anything to him…

"Hmm, I don't know, I am calling it Mythril as in mythical metal, something I read about in alchemy book." He said with shrug, he was laying about the part that he didn't know.

After all, he suppose to be quite new to the wizarding world.

"Oh, I see…" she was quite shocked hearing that.

"You know this is a really big discovery! Goblin silver is very rare and very expensive, it is said that Godric's sword was made from it!" She said that while inspecting the tools on the table, the girl was very excited about all this!

Harry could only smirk about that internally, he knows the formula of Mythril like the back of his hand.

While, unlike Gold or Silver it needs several arrays to make it. Still, he could make the metal from dirt!

He could flood the market with it, just to spite those little buggers, Harry knows the simple fact that he would have been dead if not for the fact that he knew about his blood and heritage.

"Yes, well we can talk about this later, I have some things to do…" For now, he decided to change the theme of conversation, there are things that he needs to do.

Cho quickly nodded at him, she wants to see him at work!
