Chapter Sixty-five

Ying Zetian watched as her followers watch her with puzzled eyes as they wondered why they were in front of the first city of Changping, Anping. Ying Zetian baby gu worm had already work its way back into her body. But the panther family refused to go back into the forest, so Ying Zetian let them follow her. Ying Zetian let her baby gu worm woke up the gu worm that she had planted in the garrison commander of Anping, a beneficiary of her skills as the Devil.

Although people that had benefited from Ying Zetian skills as the Devil could be controlled easily. But Ying Zetian will still let her baby gu worm be the mother of the gu worms that she planted in people that had benefited from her skills as the Devil and is in key positions. After all, Ying Zetian needs to ensure that there is no chance of these people betraying her when she is using these people to achieve her aims.

Ying Zetian had passed the military exams with flying colors, so she was awarded a rank in the military which is the same as a garrison commander. Just that because, Ying Zetian had also passed the civil officials' exams, so she was pushed to take up a civil official position first as Tai Ping placed importance on civil officials more than officials in the military. After all, Ying Zetian thought, even if the Qitan two hundred thousand troops hurried, they will need at least two weeks to reach Anping, not to said she had read the weather and there is a sandstorm of epic proportions that will happened soon. Most importantly, Ying Zetian had hurried herself and her followers to reach Anping and she is really tired.
