The main Characters of my book is Shakeila Thomas and Jahvarne Milliner. Both didn't know each other, Jahvarne was busy with both football and tennis practices plus he has to focus in his classes so there's no way he has time to take a breath; while, Shakeila has to deal with Tera Smith (the school's biggest bully) also she got to keep her grades up in order for her to get a scholarship to attend college.
None have them have time to take breaths both have to be working so hard and making sacrifices in order to stay on the right track.
Shakeila the clumsy girl she always was, was the first to crossed over in Jahvarne's Track and he couldn't resist her; he's been acting as if he's not interested but deep down inside she makes him want to do things he'd never thought that he'd ever do. She's too acting as if Jahvarne's not the most gorgeous person she's ever seen.
now that they've crossed in each other's world what will happen; you'll never know unless you read the story to get a better understanding of there ongoing interaction.

Listening to your heartbeat

Well I had the most amazing weekend with Shakeila, both of us learnt so much about each other's childhood and we also did fun activities and the list goes on; but never have I EVER told her about the little conversation between her mom and I. Almost half of the weekend she has been talking about her mom none stop and it pains me to not tell her mother's harsh words from the other day, but imma man up and tell her no other day but TODAY!!!!!!! 


"Jahvarne!!!!" Shakeila called sounding frustrated probably because I wasn't listening to her earlier 


And yes we kissed and told each other that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together but we've never said that we're a couple or nothing we jut rolled with the flow and just slowly watching what's gonna happen in a longer run. 


"Yes Shakeila, I'm sorry for not listening to you earlier I've just had a lot on my mind lately" 


Her expression immediately change from frustration to concern "What why what's up with you?" 


"Um nothin really, I'm just-I- um-I have something to tell you but promise me you'll be strong no matter what and you won't get upset" 


"Jahvarne stop it you're making me fret what's up?" 


"Well the other day when I went over your house to get your things I bumped into your mom and it was not good" I swallowed hard and continue "She said some completely horrible things about um-um- you and she also said that if she was at school the day you beat Tera's ass she would have helped Tera-well-um beat you instead and she don't want you to come home either; now I know when she said she didn't want you to come home ever again I should have fought against it but I happily agreed I was too caught up in the moment and I was-was- really angry so I took her offer for you to stay away from her" 


Oh man I should have planned this properly cause right now Shakeila's about to cry and she also looks upset and annoyed and really heartbroken. 


"Shakeila please say something", I said after a moment of silence 


"What I'm I suppose to say huh?" She yelled while crying 


It pains me alot to see her like this so I reached out for her and gave her a warm hug; ion know if she hates my guts right now but I'll at least make her comfy. 


"What exactly were her words? And don't leave out anything even if its gonna crush me still tell me I need to know so that I can know how to face her in the future" 


"Before I tell you anything I would like you to meet someone"

Earlier I called to find out if her dad was working today he was so thrilled to hear that he had a daughter; but he was also very angry after I told him who the mother of his child was. 


So here we are at the Thomas's law Firm and Shakeila's looking a bit surprise when the name on the building caught her eyes. She was completely silent for a while so I cleared my throat and told her to come lets go inside. She just blinked a few times and removed herself from the car without saying a word. 


"Shakeila I would like to introduce you to your father Mr----------" 


"No let me introduce myself to my own daughter Hi I am Jamar Thomas you're father" 


A few tears fell from her eyes and she's still silent but she leaped on her dad and he embraced her. I gave both of them some father daughter space to catch up on what they've been missing in each other's life.
