The main Characters of my book is Shakeila Thomas and Jahvarne Milliner. Both didn't know each other, Jahvarne was busy with both football and tennis practices plus he has to focus in his classes so there's no way he has time to take a breath; while, Shakeila has to deal with Tera Smith (the school's biggest bully) also she got to keep her grades up in order for her to get a scholarship to attend college.
None have them have time to take breaths both have to be working so hard and making sacrifices in order to stay on the right track.
Shakeila the clumsy girl she always was, was the first to crossed over in Jahvarne's Track and he couldn't resist her; he's been acting as if he's not interested but deep down inside she makes him want to do things he'd never thought that he'd ever do. She's too acting as if Jahvarne's not the most gorgeous person she's ever seen.
now that they've crossed in each other's world what will happen; you'll never know unless you read the story to get a better understanding of there ongoing interaction.

Listening to your heartbeat

"A few weeks has passed since Shakeila and her dad has met. Every two day or three days Shakeila visits him; I'm not judging or anything but I think that I'm Jealous, mostly because I get to spend less time with Shakeila these days and I don't even know if she feels this same way I do", Jahvarne whispered to himself while walking to school for the first. 


"Sorry there I think you need a hearing aid or something, I've been calling you for the last five minutes", Shakeila said while panting and gasping for breath. 


"I didn't hear you Shakeila my mind is kind of a mess right now" 


"Its nothing really its just ever since I brought you to meet your dad you've become distant I only see you when we're at school or whenever we might have a little mini online movie night I just need my best friend back, I need more time with you too", he said holding down his head with a surprised look on his face at his last words. 


"Awwwwwwww J did I just see jealousy cross your face?" I ask amusingly 


"after school meet me at our place, bye see you later have a nice day", he said and sprinted the rest of the journey to school mainly because he's shy and didn't wan to admit the fact that

Why would his he acting weird he can't possibly be jealous of my dad for real he must be kidding me right now 


"Hey", I said and waved at Jahvarne who still looked a little jealous. 


"Hey there Shakeila", he said looking away 


"Come on stop acting as if we're strangers, Come let's sit and talk like normal human beings J" 


"Ok so I wanted to say something to you from that time when you had that little problem with your mom and you spent that time with me well I've liked you ever since and I was afraid to tell you mainly because I was saying that you only saw me as a Best friend and didn't want nothing more; So yes I was kind of scared to tell you but if you don't like me like that I understand" 


"J- Jahvarne Milliner stop right there I'm not even gotta let you say anything else ever since the moment we became friends I liked you, you're the only person in the entire world that helped me out, been there for me not just in the time of need but all the time, you're the bestest friend a girl could ever ask for and lastly you understand me like nobody else does I can call on you anytime; what is there not to like?" 


"Wow Shakeila why are you so adorably good with words, Will you like to be my Girlfriend?" 


"I would love to be your girlfriend but under one condition", I said with a serious look on my face even though I'm excited at the moment. 


"Ok go ahead and tell me the condition baby girl" 


"That sounds so cute!!!! but promise me that you wont break my heart" I said stretching my Pinky finger to embrace his. 


"I Jahvarne Milliner swear on this very special day June 2021 that I will never break my girlfriend's (Shakeila Thomas) heart now and never" he said with a broad grin 


We hugged for a bit before googling with our goofy asses how to have a successful and awesome relationship. I know that we ain't the prefect couple in the world but this boy has me on my toe points for a few month now but I know he'd be a great boyfriend and in the future he's gonna be the best husband and Dad ever.
