Dungeon

"What the hell WAS that Justin! You said goblins were beginner monsters!" Keyla cries out.

"I didn't expect that either! Jesus they were feral."

Justin slumps to the ground and begins casting heal on himself. His health had only dropped by about a third. Suddenly he thought of something. Something he almost dreaded to try but he had to. Placing a hand on one of the goblins bodies he took a deep breathe.

"Loot"

[+5 credits]

[+1 torn rag]

"Son...of..a...BITCH!!" Justin cries in anger. "I could have looted the Dire Wolf! And the werewolf!!"

He stands to his feet grumbling, and heads to the other body picking up the fallen dggers as he goes. Placing them into his inventory he loots the second goblin, netting himself 5 more credits and a toe nail.

"What should we do now?" Keyla asks hesitantly after seeing his outburst. She follows behind him and loots each goblin, receiving less for the first one and more for the one she attacked the most.

"I say we go in." he says and points at the cave entrance. "I'll bet my only 10 credits that's a dungeon"

"Dungeon?"

"Yeah it's like...well it's a location where monsters usually spawn. But most of the time they give more experience and loot in a dungeon then outside. I'm not sure how it will work in real life though."

They both look at the cave opening. Justin hitches his shield up and takes a step forward before stopping.

"Let me try something..." Keyla watches as his hands twitch, obviously messing with his system windows"

[Would you like to invite Keyla into your party?]

"I knew it! Ugh, I'm going to have to start remember my gameology. All this system stuff just doesn't feel real sometimes. Ok let's go" he leads the pair into the cave carefully. As they enter Justin sees a torch just past the opening.

"That's convenient" he whispers, looking back at Keyla. "Can you cast one handed?"

She nods and yanks the torch off the wall. They continue on, the light from the torch creating ominous shadows around them.

[Congratulations on being the first to discover this dungeon your party will receive double the experience for the next 12 hours]

Justin jumps a little at the sudden notification, but immediately gets excited. This was how they will get stronger.

The continue forward until they come to a branching pathway. It opens up into a room with piles of clothes, rages and animal furs. They almost walk past when Justin notices something stirring on one of the piles. He squints at it, finally making out the sleeping form of a goblin on the rags. Looking around he sees 2 more goblins sleeping on the disgusting piles.

[ Level 5 Goblin]

"We need to kill them quietly." he whispers drawing his sword and handing Keyla one of the goblin daggers. "Try to be as quiet as possible"

She nods and the both of them head to a different goblin. They stand over each of their goblins and as one they both plunge their blades into the necks of the goblins.

[Goblin Defeated +100 xp]

They move to the next goblin.

"Let me try something real quick. I have another spell I wanna try." Keyla whispers. She raises a hand and lays it on the head of the third goblin. Sparks suddenly spring up from her hand channel into the goblin. It's eyes snap open. It's muscles clinch and back arches, unable to make a sound. After a few moments she let's go and it slumps to the ground dead.

"Electric spell. But I have to touch the target." she murmurs.

After looting the bodies, netting some more credits and junk, the two of them decide to continue moving to the door. Just as they round back into the hall way they freeze. Another goblin standing in their way. They stare at each other for a moment. Justin springs into action, learning from his mistakes, and attacks. After only a few exchanged blows he kills the goblin, earning more experience.

They aren't all that hard to kill one on one." he states proudly. "And now I'm only 100xp away from another level. These dungeons are nice xp."

They keep moving only stopping 3 more times to fight a goblin or two. Finally after hours of exploring they come to the end of the passage way. There lies a door, huge and arching.

"Well this has got to be the Dungeon boss. No doubt about it"
