Dark Elf - Chapter 14 - A New Life

I lived in the palace for 5 months,during this time I left the castle every morning to go train myself and I would come back to wash myself and eat at noon before going hunting some monsters for the First Guild in the afternoon.And most of my day resembled one another,except for when the king would ask me to come to eat with them or rather to watch them eat.

For those 5 months,I would often be hanging out with my little sister Lega, she was a kind and energetic sister.The two of us were always playing together,whether it was hide and seek or any other games.We were also together during classes.

Today was my 9th birthday and the king had asked me to come to dinner.So I went to dinner with them,looking at them eating all those meals.I thought that he had called for me because it was my birthday,but I was wrong,the king didn't even know when was my birthday.

In fact he had called for me to tell me that the next week we would all go to Ergis,on neutral territory, to a meeting that was held every 7 years with the other elves, kings and royals.

This news at first annoyed me because I had a quest to finish here but I then understood that it meant that I would leave not only Jaho but also the Dark Forest territory…
