Awakening

Two days have passed since Kuroi officially joined Xcution. During these two days, Kuroi has been thinking about what Ginjo is planning and what his Fullbring is. Currently, Kuroi sits on the living room's couch and watches tv. His father walks down the stairs and joins him on the couch.

"What are you watching?" asked Aoi.

"Reruns of this garbage anime called Ghost Stories. I don't know how this was even created," said Kuroi.

"So, has anything weird happened to you?" asked Aoi.

"Why do you ask?" asked Kuroi.

"Well, we haven't talked much in the last couple days and you've been going out more and more," said Aoi.

"I'm becoming a man, dad. I need to get some air and hang out with my friends," said Kuroi.

"I know. It just seems that time flies. It was like yesterday when you were still a little boy who liked superheroes and little kids shows," said Aoi.

"That was years ago. I have changed. I've become smarter and stronger and more mature. You should be glad that I'm not the same little child that I was years ago," said Kuroi.

"I just wished that we could talk more. That's all," said Aoi.

"Maybe if you could tell me things that I would like to know, we would have a better relationship. Aizen was going to tell me more about my mother than you would ever," said Kuroi.

"I told you that I would talk to you about that one day," said Aoi.

"Why not now?" asked Kuroi.

"It should be special. Not when you're watching tv," said Aoi.

"How many excuses do you have left?" asked Kuroi.

"They're not excuses," said Aoi.

"Then, what are they then? You use them every time I have questions about stuff that you don't want to talk about," said Kuroi.

"I'll tell you before the year ends. For now, let's just relax and enjoy the rest of the day," said Aoi.

As Aoi reaches for the tv remote, Kuroi's phone buzzes. He takes it out of his pocket and sees that Tatsuki has texted him. He reads the text in his mind.

"Meet me outside. Ginjo wants you to come to start your Fullbring training," thought Kuroi.

"So, what do you want to watch?" asked Aoi.

"Sorry, dad, but I have to meet up with Tatsuki. We need to finish a project by next week," said Kuroi.

"Come home by midnight. I don't want to rush you two," said Aoi.

"Put a sock in it, dad," said Kuroi.

"I wish I met your mother like that. It would have been more romantic than saving her from Hollows," said Aoi.

"We're just friends," said Kuroi.

"That's what they all say," said Aoi.

Kuroi gets up and walks out of the door. He walks down the street and turns the corner. He sees Tatsuki leaning on a wall, wearing a suspicious jacket.

"Tatsuki, why are you wearing a hoodie during the Spring?" asked Kuroi.

"Xcution is a secret group. I don't want anybody following us or think that we're doing anything suspicious," said Tatsuki.

"You're wearing a hoodie when it's eighty degrees. That's pretty suspicious," said Kuroi.

"Shut up and follow me," said Tatsuki.

Kuroi and Tatsuki start to walk together.

"Your hair has grown so long. You must not have time to cut it when you're training so hard. I'm proud," said Kuroi.

Tatsuki blushes but uses her hood to hide her expression.

"I didn't do it for you. I just became strong enough to protect everyone," said Tatsuki.

"I know that you didn't do it for me. That's what I'm proud of. You didn't get stronger because other people wanted you to get stronger. You got stronger because you wanted to. You had the willpower to break past your limits. I'm glad that Karakura Town has got a strong team of defenders," said Kuroi.

"This "team" would never exist if it wasn't for you. Why do you not hang out with us as much?" said Tatsuki.

"That's a little hypocritical for you to ask. You and Chad disappeared for weeks," said Kuroi.

"Fair point," said Tatsuki.

"I am a captain now, so I have more responsibilities. I know you guys are strong, so you guys should be strong enough to deal with the Hollows that roam this realm," said Kuroi.

"I know you're a big shot captain now, but we're still your friends. We care and love you," said Tatsuki.

"You guys love me? That's weird," said Kuroi.

"I meant love to be around you. My bad," said Tatsuki trying to conceal her true emotions.

"Do you trust this Ginjo guy? He seems suspicious to me," said Kuroi.

"Kind of. He approached me when I was training one day. He told me about Fullbrings and Fullbringers and invited me to his gang. He promised to help me become stronger. He probably only allowed me to join because we know each other," said Tatsuki.

"That's why I don't trust him. He knows too much. He acts like he's a stalker. Has he done anything to you or Chad?" said Kuroi.

"No. I don't believe he's a bad guy, but he seems sly and not trustworthy," said Tatsuki.

"Just tell me if anything happens. I'll deal with him," said Kuroi.

"He may be stronger than you think," said Tatsuki.

"I don't care how strong he is. If he messes with my friends, I will deal with him," said Kuroi.

"That's what I like about you," said Tatsuki quietly.

"What did you say?" asked Kuroi.

"Nothing," said Tatsuki.

Tatsuki and Kuroi walk for thirty more minutes until they reach the apartment building. Kuroi holds the door like a gentleman and Tatsuki walks through it. They enter the elevator and Kuroi taps the button for the sixth floor. The elevator goes up to the sixth floor and the two friends exit the elevator. They walk up to the Xcution apartment and Kuroi opens the door.

"I brought him," said Tatsuki.

"Thanks, Tatsuki. You're very helpful," said Ginjo.

"Why am I here?" asked Kuroi.

"Today, we will start your training," said Ginjo.

"Are we going to train in here? I don't think that this place is big enough," said Kuroi.

"We're not going to train in here. Riruka, bring it out," said Ginjo.

Riruka opens the door and reveals that she's carrying what seems to be a dollhouse shaped like a box.

"Is that a box? How am I going to train in that?" asked Kuroi.

"Shut up! I'm going to explain it right now! Come over here and prepare to hear the explanation!" exclaimed Riruka.

"Ok. you don't have to scream at me. You have issues," said Kuroi.

"Just shut up and come over here, newbie!" exclaimed Riruka.

Kuroi takes a step and Riruka immediately puts her hand out.

"Wait! You're fine right there! You don't have to take another step!" exclaimed Riruka.

"Make up your mind, woman," said Kuroi.

"Take a look at this magnificent box," said Riruka.

"Is that what you call a magnificent box? I wouldn't want to see an ugly one," said Kuroi.

"Shut up and listen! My Fullbring is called Dollhouse. It allows me to freely move people and things into or out of anything that I adore or think is cute," said Riruka.

Riruka flips a heart pass towards Kuroi and it lands on his chest.

"That is your pass. You are now permitted to enter," said Riruka.

"How will I-," said Kuroi.

Kuroi is unable to finish speaking before he is shrunk and sent inside the box.

"Fit in here," finished Kuroi.

Kuroi looks up and sees a giant anthropomorphic pig standing in front of him.

"Isn't he cute?" asked Riruka.

"You could have told me that I was fighting an overgrown porkchop," said Kuroi.

"He is your opponent. Defeat him without using Kido or any of your powers. This should be easy if you have Fullbring," said Riruka.

"But, I don't have Fullbring," said Kuroi.

"Then, hurry up and get it," said Riruka.

The giant pig roars and Kuroi runs away.

"Why are you running! Men don't run!" exclaimed Riruka.

"I'm thinking, so shut up and watch!" exclaimed Kuroi.

The giant pig tries to smash the young soul reaper, but Kuroi easily dodges it. The giant pig tries to punch Kuroi, but he jumps on the stuffed animal's "hand" and runs up it. He then jumps into the air and kicks the stuffed animal in the face. The stuffed animal flies into the wall of the box.

Oww! That hurt, you bastard!" exclaimed the stuffed animal.

"It can talk. I shouldn't be surprised. I've fought weirder things," said Kuroi.

"That guy is called Mr. Pork. He was a Yakuza member that I kidnapped a few months ago," said Riruka.

"You kidnapped him? What the hell is wrong with you!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"Nothing is wrong with me!" exclaimed Riruka.

"That's what all of the loons say!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"Focus on fighting your opponent, you moron!" exclaimed Riruka.

"Mr. Pork, are you ok?" asked Kuroi.

"She said if I didn't kill you in fifteen minutes, I would be stuck in this ugly stuffed animal forever," said Mr. Pork.

"So, you lied to him, too! You're not just crazy! You're also a manipulator!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"First of all, that stuffed animal isn't ugly! Second, I'm not crazy!" exclaimed Riruka.

"Of course you aren't!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"You know what! No more advice! Just tell me when you're finished!" exclaimed Riruka.

Riruka grabs the cover of the box and places it on the box.

"Well, I guess it's time to get serious," said Kuroi.

Kuroi runs towards the wall of the box. The stuffed animal chases after him. Kuroi sees a button on the wall and grabs it. He proceeds to launch it at the stuffed animal's eye. It hits him and he screams in pain. Kuroi then runs behind a brick wall and starts to think.

"Ginjo's Fullbring is his necklace. Chad's Fullbring is his skin. Tatsuki's Fullbring is her athletic body. What could my Fullbring be?" said Kuroi.

Kuroi grabs the necklace on his neck and looks at the picture inside the pendulum chain. It is one of a younger version of himself with his mother and mother. He takes off his necklace and places it in his hand.

"Enhance its soul and turn it into a weapon. Enhance its soul and turn it into a weapon. Enhance it and turn it into a weapon," thought Kuroi.

As Kuroi laces his spiritual pressure into the necklace. As he remembers the happiness and joy he felt that day the picture was taken, his necklace evolves. Kuroi opens his eyes and sees that his necklace has turned into a spiritual chain ball weapon.

"This looks cool," said Kuroi.

Kuroi stands up and jumps over the brick wall. He sees that the stuffed animal can move and see.

"Where did you get that weapon from?" asked Mr. Pork.

"It's my Fullbring. Prepare to lose," said Kuroi.

"I only have a few more minutes. So, let's hurry this up!" said Mr. Pork.

"You didn't have to ask," said Kuroi.

Kuroi leaps at the stuffed animal and smacks him with his Fullbring. The stuffed animal is nearly knocked out by one swing of the weapon. The stuffed animal falls on the ground. Kuroi jumps into the air and lands on the stuffed animal's face. He slams his weapon on the stuffed animal's face one more time and knocks out Mr. Pork.

"I'm finished!" exclaimed Kuroi.

Riruka lifts the lid off the box.

"Well done. I thought that you would die," said Riruka.

"Shut up and get me out of here," said Kuroi.

Riruka grabs both Kuroi and Mr. Pork.

"Jackie, bring the feather over here," said Riruka.

Jackie picks up a feather on a table and walks over to Riruka. She rubs Riruka's nose and Riruka prepares to sneeze.

"Please don't tell me that she's going to do what I think she is," said Kuroi.

"Ah-choo!" exclaimed Riruka.

Riruka sneezes all on Mr. Pork and they return to normal size.

"What the hell was that!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"Showering you with my snot is the only way that I can release you from the effects of Dollhouse," said Riruka.

"I think I understand that! Your snot is all over me, you bastard!" exclaimed Kuroi.

"There's no way that he would betray the Soul Society. He's a captain now and everything. He must not know about Ginjo. That has to be the reason," said Rukia.

"Rukia," said Kuroi.

"Huh?" asked Riruka.

Kuroi starts to spin around, looking for Rukia, but she isn't in the room.

"I heard her, but she isn't here," said Kuroi.

"You should go home. You're starting to hear things," said Ginjo.

"I'm not hearing things. I heard her," said Kuroi.

"Fullbring manipulates the souls of living people. Using Fullbring puts a large strain on your body. If you continue training now, your body will fall apart. Your hearing is already going," said Ginjo.

"Why can't I stay here?" asked Kuroi.

"Why would we let a creep like you join us?" asked Riruka.

"Shut up," said Kuroi.

"There's no need to rush. I'll give you a call in a few days when you can continue your training. I don't let kids sleep over," said Ginjo.

"Fine. I'll just leave. Good night," said Kuroi.

Kuroi's Fullbring disappears as he walks out of the apartment.

"Wait," said Chad.

Kuroi stops walking and turns around. He sees Tatsuki and Chad standing behind him.

"What is it, guys?" asked Kuroi.

"We need to talk. There's a cafe nearby. It's cheap and the food is good," said Chad.

"Why do we need to talk? We talk all the time," said Kuroi.

"It's just that-," said Chad.

Chad stops talking when the three friends sense something.

"It's Orihime. She's in trouble," said Kuroi.

"Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go save her!" said Tatsuki.
